  1. *eye is twitching like mad*......I hate Noel.....every other gym leader in this save, One...Two tries max to beat 'em.....but freaking Noel man.....5 tries and *sees Lanturn faint now*.....make that 6 tries....and I still can't beat him! Main issue for me is when it comes down to Swellow [damn Endeavor to hell.....], Staraptor, and Cleffable. Current Squad: Scraggy, Level 15 - Being Trained Pancham, Level 23 - Being Trained Emboar, Level 48 w/ Black Belt - Adamant Nature, Reckless Ability, Heat Crash/Hammer Arm/Flamethrower/Arm Thrust Lanturn, Level 48 w/ Quick Claw - Lonely Nature, Volt Absorb Ability, Charge Beam/Discharge/Bubblebeam/Bubble Crawdaunt, Level 50 w/ Quick Claw - Calm Nature, Shell Armor Ability, Crabhammer/Night Slash/Bubblebeam/Knock Off Gyarados, Level 50 w/ Focus Band - Lax Nature, Intimidate Ability, Aqua Tail/Thrash/Ice Fang/Dragon Dance Notable in-Storage Pokemon: Delphox, Level 54 w/ Scope Lens - Relaxed Nature, Magician Ability, Psychic, Mystical Fire/Flamethrower/Will-O-Wisp Emolga, Level 48 - Hardy Nature, Static Ability, Acrobatics/Nuzzle/Shock Wave/Volt Switch Anything you all can think of to help me out with Noel this time?
  2. Hello all, originally this was my back-up save but it has QUICKLY overtaken my enjoyment of my original “Mafia Squad” save. I'm currently at Serra...but not expecting a challenge really because I’ve got 3 fire-types who can get in and murder with...along with Lord Gyarados & the unexpected duo of Raticate & Crawdaunt. Not expecting trouble with future battles, at least up to Luna....if only because I haven’t battled her before...any criticisms, questions, and/or comments are gladly welcome! Current Squad: Eevee, Level 9 [in Training, Unsure of WHAT Eeveelution to go for....] Numel, Level 22 [in Training] Emboar, Level 36 [in Training] Raticate, Level 42 [Grinding] Crawdaunt, Level 46 [Holding Pattern] Delphox, Level 50 [Gonna eat 1 or 2 Candies soon] Box Situation: Binacle, Level 33 [in Training] Aron, Level 14 [in Training] Golem, Level 34 [in Training] Murkrow, Level 20 [in Training] Tirtouga, Level 17 [in Training] Malamar, Level 34 [in Training] Exploud, Level 40 [Grinding] Lanturn, Level 44 [Grinding] Gyarados, Level 45 [Grinding] Kecleon, Level 40 [Grinding] Mr. Mime, Level 17 [in Training] Slurpuff, Level 19 [in Training] Kirlia, Level 20 [in Training] Onix, Level 37 [in Training] Kricketune, Level 35 [in Training] Emolga, Level 46 [Grinding] Chingling, Level 25 [Training to become Chimeco...then boxed forever....] Linoone, Level 20 [HM Slave] Bibarel, Level 20 [in Training] Magnemite, Level 32 [in Training] Klink, Level 32 [in Training] Yamask, Level 32 [in Training] Croagunk, Level 32 [in Training] Nosepass, Level 36 [in Training] Noibat, Level 34 [in Training] Mankey, Level 25 [in Training] Diggersby, Level 23 [in Training] Meowth, Level 19 [Training for Pickup Ability] Makuhita, Level 14 [in Training] Quagsire, Level 36 [in Training] Planning on Getting: Zorua Gastly Spiritomb Bulbasaur Sableye [insert Any Suggested Pokemon Not Listed/Already Caught]
  3. It depends...random names, things associated with the Pokemon, or just a YouTuber if I can't think of something more appropriate.
  4. I'd put a Pawniard event somewhere in between the first four badges.....maybe with a boss fire type leveled 45+ blocking the way. ...yes, I'm reversing the Vulpix event. Can't think of anything else right now, tired and distracted.
  5. The Mafia would like to jump on in. Vinny?
  6. My favorite Pokemon is....a great chess piece which deserves more love from GameFreak by giving it more evolution paths! I'm talking about Pawniard! He deserves more than just Bisharp, maybe..I don't know...a QUEEN, KING, KNIGHT, ROOK path? More than just a bishop.... < Look at him, he is awesome!
  7. Get out while you still can!!! The torture.....*hit over head by bat*...... Enjoy your stay here in the Reborn Region!
  8. I gave two heart scales to the move tutor/relearner lady to give my Crobat Cross Poison or Acrobatics...one of them & my Blaziken Hi Jump Kick....Hi Jump Kick wrecks Noel's team when it connects. Magneton can get rid of those pesky birds and I recommend an Aggron as well...just for a bulky meat-shield. So, in short: - Crobat w/ Cross Poison & Acrobatics - Blaziken w/ Hi Jump Kick - Aggron for meat-shield - Camerupt w/ Lava Plume....just to eliminate the field Good luck with defeating Noel with whatever Pokemon you choose though!
  9. ^^^ THIS! Kricketune and Fury Cutter will win this badge...if it fails, Monferno can pick up the slack!
  10. Well...doing a third save of Reborn...wow, why did I not put love into Kricketune in my other saves? GG Florina...my Technician just ended you.

One misstep and -smoosh- kricketune is gone.

    3. Ukyn1993

      Ukyn1993

      Kricketunes that good? really?

    4. Azeria

      Azeria

Same with Litleo or Mr Mime those 2 are readily available and are monsters early game

  11. You could just get a Gengar w/ Destiny Bond...give it a Quick Claw & hope it manages to use Destiny Bond before being murdered by that Arceus if you really want to defeat Arceus. That was what was recommended to me, so i re-recommend it to you!
  12. Torchic was my starter and have not regretted that decision since. Second fastest on my team, his Speed Boost ability makes him the fastest after one turn. IF I had to start a second file...I'd try out one of the X/Y Starters since I have not played X/Y...
  13. Ditto/Arceus.....defeated thanks to Gengar/Quick Claw/Destiny Bond! Radomus.....defeated on my first try. Wow, that was actually the easiest gym battle since Julia..... Next up....Bennet/Luna/whatever else is inbetween!
  14. It wasn't so much, "Gengar, I don't want you"...it was more, "Gengar buddy....I don't have enough space in my party.... ...." ~ Add Gengar to party, level up to 50 & easy way to beat Arceus/Ditto? GENGAR!!! GET OUT OF THE PC BUDDY! Alright, Fern....I think my Gyarados/Blaziken can end that so, thanks for the forewarning... Radomus, double battles?.....okay, will come back info about him later! Bennet, oh yeah..hey Camerupt, Magneton! You two have someone to eliminate! Luna.....T___T....I want a Bisharp....I love Bisharp.... :( .....alright, DEFINITELY will return to get info about her! Thanks for the advice!
  15. It has been 3 Days since I last posted in this thread....and last night, I did it. I finally beat Noel.....good god, I'm ready to take a break and NOT take on the next gym leader as soon as possible.... Current Squad: Aggron - Level 42 w/ Careful Nature...Rock Head ability...and is holding a Focus Band.Moves Known - Iron Defense, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Metal Claw Camerupt - Level 51 w/ Bold Nature...Anger Point ability...and is holding a Focus Band.Moves Known - Rock Slide, Earthquake, Lava Plume, Strength Spiritomb - Level 54 [Fainted] w/ Serious Nature...Pressure ability...and is holding a Quick Claw.Moves Known - Sucker Punch, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot Blaziken - Level 55 [Fainted] w/ Quiet Nature...Speed Boost ability...and is holding a Black Belt.Moves Known - Blaze Kick, Hi Jump Kick, Rock Smash, Brave Bird Crobat - Level 55 w/ Bashful Nature...Inner Focus ability...and is holding nothing.Moves Known - Acrobatics, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Cross Poison Gyarados - Level 55 w/ Lonely Nature...Moxie ability...and is holding a Splash Plate.Moves Known - Hyper Beam, Hydro Pump, Aqua Tail, Ice Fang ~ BEFORE I MOVE ON....what level should I get my entire team up to? What additions to the Squad would help me against upcoming events? Thanks for the recommendation of Aggron, by the way!
  16. Okay, right from the start.....I recommend Trubbish, Magikarp, and getting a Birabel. A Goldeen with Lightning Rod as well, heard it helps with the first gym.
  17. Happy birthday random person I've only know because of the one time I logged into P.O.!
  18. ...everyone used Goldeen w/ Lightning Rod? I think I used Trubbish & Torchic mainly.
  19. I'm not even upset that I need to grind more pokemon to higher levels now. So steels will save me, eh? Alright, gotta go train Aron...get Gengar more levels...and get Spiritomb some more as well. Thanks for the help, hopefully I can beat Noel later!
  20. Alright, back on my laptop! Current Team consists of.... Blaziken - Level 53 w/ Red Card Gyarados - Level 53 w/ Splash Plate Crobat - Level 54 w/ Focus Band Karrablast - Level 36 [Only on team right now due to headbutt, hitting some trees currently.] Gallade - Level 32 [Grinding him up] Gastly - Level 19 [Grinding him up] In box, notable members of my squad are.... Garbodor - Level 42 w/ Poison Barb Machamp - Level 36 Magneton - Level 50 Quagsire - Level 36 Aron - Level 13 [Gonna take him out & grind up soon] Camerupt - Level 49 Mawile - Level 46 w/ Quick Claw Dedenne - Level 42 w/ Pickup Ability ~ Once again, I ask for some assistance....who to train, who to catch, whatever is needed to get past Noel....
  21. Noel is kicking my bum all over the lake. Once I get onto my laptop, I'll be posting my current team. The lineup is not that much different from before, except I am currently training up a Gastly into a Gengar.
  22. LORD HAD MERCY!!!! :D I did it finally! Thank God I found the miner who gives out Miner Kits...mined up a rock, lo and behold one of the keys to my victory...a Max Revive..... Team that wiped Aya out consisted of: MawileLevel 42 at Gym start...Level 43 at end. Adamant nature, has Hyper Cutter ability. Knows: Charge Beam, Crunch, Shadow Ball, and ViceGrip MagnetonLevel 44 at Gym start & end. Gentle nature, has Sturdy ability. Knows: Mirror Shot, Flash Cannon, Electro Ball, and Spark GolbatLevel 45 at Gym start & end. Bashful nature, has Inner Focus ability. Knows: Poison Fang, Acrobatics, Swift, and Air Cutter GyaradosLevel 44 at Gym start & end. Lonely nature, has Moxie ability. Knows: Blaze Kick, Brave Bird, Rock Smash, and Double Kick CameruptLevel 35 at Gym start & end. Bold nature, has Anger Point ability. Knows: Rock Slide, Earth Power, Lava Plume, and Take Down. ~ Thank you all for suggestions, guys. Even though I didn't get to some like Venomoth or Gastrodon....the fact you guys gave suggestions make me happy and....worried about the future gym battles.....
  23. Gastrodon? Never used one before.....alright, might put it into my planned team for the next time I challenge her. Right now, I'm grinding the decided upon slots on my team up to 40s. Current Planned Team: Magneton Mawile Gyarados - After leveling up to 47 for Hyper Beam and then Common Candying back to Level 44.... Blaziken - After leveling up to 49 for Brave Bird and then Common Candying back to Level 44....MIGHT go for Sky Uppercut as well, tbh, if I'm going to over-level Blaziken....thank god my Teddiursa that languished in the Poke-Boxes has Pick-Up.... Camerupt UNUSED SPOT - Gastrodon, Trubbish, Venomoth, Phanpy/Donphan, or Golbat [or Crobat if it levels up with enough happiness....]
  24. Thank you Arkhidon! Gonna go hunt them down as soon as the game loads!
  25. Thanks for the quick reply! Alright, I'll be heading to the Volcano for Numel as soon as I stock up on pokeballs!
