E17: Rust Thicker than Water (Community Release)
Artemesya replied to Amethyst's topic in Reborn City
A huge thanks to Amethyst, the dev team and everyone who has worked on this episode ! -
There is a move tutor for Stealth Rock at the Peridot market during daytime for that Mamoswine of yours. As Brick Break and Shadow Claw are two TMs, you can switch them around depending on the situation, but I would personally stick with Brick Break. I find Shadow claw to be more situational. As the others said, your team is pretty solid, and since you are training a rotation you should be all right for the rest of the game. Maybe another electric type for Amaria ? But you will see what you need once you get to her. If you need to give an extra boost to your mons, you could check a guide or two on EV training : it is quite easy to do in Reborn.

As of EP 16, you can go up to the 10th floor.

I was going to post just to highlight the Fairy Tale field effect on Fire attacks. It is worth noting that it removes one of the two weaknesses of Klefki, and gives a massive boost to Draining Kiss and Crafty Shield, while also giving it +1 sp attack should it run Magician. Klefki can also learn Flash Cannon and Magnet Rise to get rid of that last weakness... That would be Titania yes

Two more : - A bug catcher in the north of Beryl - A girl in an alley directly south when you enter Obsidia from Opal.

There are huge beasts lurking underwater, like a lvl 81 Wailord kind of huge
-
You also get the TMX for Waterfall either way, so it all boils down to personal preference

I cannot deny that fact, no matter how much it hurts me.

That would be one of the trainers I was referring to. As you said, their levels scale with your progress : by the end of Episode 16 they have lvl 80's Pokemon, making them a good option for grinding

To enter the S underwater city Vague version, just a clue Explicit version

There are also rebattable trainers in the Grand Hall that give a substantial amount of money and experience, without the need to lose a fight or to halt your progress in the game story. Should you not have access to it, there is a rebattable clown in Agate circus who gives money, experience and shards.

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome ! I'll make sure to refrain from talking too much in French so that you won't lose your voice yelling. Alternatively, I could teach you all the French food names that are fun to yell. This is 100% accurate, thank you for providing this video. I'll make sure to use it whenever I'm asked to talk about French culture. However, I'm afraid I must reveal the terrible secret this video conceals. In fact, "omelette du fromage"... does not mean anything in French. The correct translation for cheese omelette is "omelette au fromage" And now you know

Howdy, Let me tell you a fun little story : I actually discovered Reborn back in 2013 (and I have a Blastoise that can prove it !), loved it, a lot, but never got the courage (?) to register on the website. After a year of dedicated lurking, I finally created an account ! Hooray ! To post only a few things that did not make the transition (including an introduction which I'm sure was as hard to write as this one is) and go. Fun times. Let's hope this time will be different ! To say a little bit more about myself, I'm a French (obviously) neurobiology student (obviously ?) and I can't make a good joke on the internet to save my life. Should you have any question on any of these topics (that is to say me, any French-related subject, neurobiology, or the use of anaphora and question mark to create written comical effect) feel free to pm me or ask it directly here ! Ce fut un honneur.

I've called it. I know exactly who the champion is!
Artemesya replied to Aquachu's topic in Reborn City
Ame said she had already wrote the entire story of Reborn, so I'm sure she wouldn't have forgotten such an important thing. El is confirmed as a member of the Elite 4 : before his fight with Cain at the castle, he asks if he knows who he is fighting, and Cain answer :"Yup, I figured it out. You're one of the Elite..." We also know that El promised Bennett a place among the Elite if he kept on following Arceus' orders, so he would have to be at least a high-ranking member of the League to be able to make such promises (or he's just being, you know, a huge *******, which is also possible). -
The forum is back on! I was starting to feel withdrawal symptoms So... Does Terra carry that hammer everywhere? Is there a chance we can put Fern under it?
-
You were able to battle him in previous episodes, but you can't anymore (there is a reason for that, but that is kind of a little spoiler).
-
I can give you a Leafeon for free, do you want me to evolve your Eevee or do I just trade you one of mine (evolved of course) ? If so, do you want a special nickname ? My FC is in my signature, but I need your name to add you (or am I doing this wrong ?)

Being French and also a (former) LoL player, I can relate to your problem. The League of Legends community is quite vast and, as a result, filled with annoying people. As you pointed out yourself, as soon as LoL is mentionned, especially when someone has a problem with it, everyone who played the game even for a short time knows the issue is linked with flaming, rude players of some sort. I don't think it is related with the fact that you're French in particular, as they use pretty much every insulting thing they can think of when they feel like it (read : every time they die/ you die/ a tower is taken/ they didn't insult another human being in the past 30 seconds). I've actually seen more people being flamed because they were Spanish, so I guess it's not completely related to a specific nationality. My advice would be to always play with people you know and like. I know it's not always possible, but that's the only thing that had kept me playing. On the topic of France's reputation over the internet, as others like Neo have pointed out, French people tend to be associated with the outcome of WW2, and are therefore regarded as cowards among other things (which is completely untrue when one studies History, but stereotypes don't give a flying damn about accuracy, no matter where they come from). At the beginning of the current "conflict" between Russia and Ukraine, I even saw a meme featuring a fake front-page with the headline : "France already surrenders to Russia"... There is even a trope called French Jerk (I can give you the link if you want). But that's just based on stereotypes, and some of ours are quite as idiotic.
