It depends on how difficult you want your travel to be, and your personal preference. Some starters (like Chimchar and Torchic) are quite useful, especially if you soft reset for their hidden abilities, and will make the dreaded second gym easier. You can also get some of them in sidequests later in the game (check the obtainable list). There is no "dead weight" starter, you can go through the game with any of them.

So Ame uses travelling rainbows huh, that explains so much... Back on topic, even if Terra did beat Aya in battle, that doesn't explain why Aya seems unable to answer when Cain meets her. I mean, her pokemon might be ko'ed, but Terra would not attack her directly, right...? And about the reason why Aya is in Agate city, if you go back to her house in the Wasteland, her mom will tell you she left with Hardy.

This is a great idea, and if it becomes a real project, I would be more than happy to help out with the French translation. And about the puns, there are always ways to translate or keep the general idea of a dialogue. But a translation implies scripting the dialogue multiple times, creating different download links and, if it is done while the game isn't finished, a great organization to keep the translation at pace. This all means extra work for Ame, without knowing how many people would enjoy such translation...

I wanted to join the forum for quite some time now (several months actually), but I have always been shy about it, so I thought I should just go ahead and sign in. don't eat me please I discovered Reborn while listening to GlitchxCity remixes : there was a comment about a fanmade pokemon game using her remixes, and my first reaction was "a pokemon game with Glitch's remixes... GOTTA CHECK IT OUT!" And I was not disappointed, at all. This is sincerly one of the most amazing game I've ever played, with a great storyline and interesting characters. Thank you a lot Ame for this game (and for putting an early game Abra I could get before you deleted it) Now I guess I should talk about me a little... I'm from France and I live in Paris. My first pokemon game was pokemon yellow, and I've been a fan ever since. And now, as I don't know what else I could talk about that you guys would want to know, I feel this is the shortest introduction ever, but feel free to ask me anything!
