  1. Me @ that statement I made. So yeah, originally that was the plan, but Ame/Zumi and a bunch of others came together to collaborate on adding gen 7 content to Reborn/Rejuv... and really any game that wanted it. So uh.... SURPRISE!!! Gen 7 is going to be in v9. This means it'll take a bit longer, but I promise you that it'll be worth. That's what I tell myself anyway. ----------- Reasons it's going to delay V9: Rebalancing: If I'm going to add in gen 7 Pokemon, then I'm going to have to rebalance a lot of fights, including Gym Leaders. I've already started compiling trainers in each area and have redone them accordingly. So you'll be noticing a lot of battles are different. Some teams have been changed all together. So I really apologize if something is too tough/easy on release. I'm still working stuff out. Reworking Wild Encounters: This one is self explanatory. Gen 7 mechanics: Tbh, this one won't take long, but it'll hurt my soul because dealing with scripts hurts me sometimes. I think this one will hurt the most because I have to add gen 7 mechs to Fields and aufhdgdfjhgdfg. Oh well, gotta do it. ----------- On top of that I'm polishing a lot of various other things like battle sprites, VS sprites, Battle backgrounds, shinies, adding in quality of life features etc... So uh... Yeah... Version 9 is going to be a mega update.
  2. You can customize the game however you want. Go ahead!
  3. There are a few sprites that I've saved that need touching up, but that's about it. Nice job! Marked as completed.
  4. I appreciate it! Go ahead and try if you'd like. I don't mind. We're almost done!
  5. The blending between the two colors on the body needs a bit of work, but I think I can take care of that myself. All I need are backsprites! Oh... Well this is awkward. I said I was going to do them lol, and I already did. Could you give me Snorlax's backsprite again? Looks like I don't have it. Even though I'm pretty sure I did... weird.
  6. No need. The front sprites were... pretty difficult to do so I went ahead and made the backsprites to save you any trouble. Thanks! Marked as completed! Awesome! Marked as completed! Thank you all for your help! We're almost done with Gen 1!
  7. This'll do, but I'll need them each separately as their own image.
  8. Yep! We'll get through gens 1-6 for now. Not sure when 7 will be done, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
  9. Just realized I uploaded the wrong version of that Voltorb. (It lacks shading on the top part of it) But I'll see what I can do!
  10. Thanks for Golduck and Exeggutor. They're both marked as completed. And by the last statement, I meant I had a cool ball design in mind for both. I went ahead and tried it out to see if it would work: What do you think? Feedback can be from anyone. Go for it, and no worries. All right. Good luck!
  11. There wasn't any sizing issue with the original one, though. It's all good. I got these saved. Marked as completed! Oh my god. This is pretty neat. I'll put you both down for credit. Approved! So I really like both of these. Hycrox, I can tell that your shading/color usage is getting better. Nice job! I think I may go with the Drill styled Rhydon. I like the green that was used. I have an idea for Voltorb/Electrode, so give me a few to whip up an example. Exeggutor came out nice! I'll be approving this one. All I need is a backsprite. Golduck's backsprite is approved, however, there is an issue with the outline not being too light so you can barely make it out. I fixed this, though. Just pointing it out for future ref. Oh yeah, can you post Golduck's front sprite as its own file, too? Ty in advance. ------ @MakaTorracat Going to have to reject this one for now. There are issues with shading not being very noticeable, and the fact that the blue on the body is pretty messy. There's a resolution problem that brings in 1x pixels into a 2x sprite, so it looks extremely weird. I'd say to avoid blue with this bird for now. Hm... Not too sure about the color scheme for this. The Green is fine, but the colors used in the inner core are strange. It's pretty bright too. Perhaps use another color for the cores? . . . . . . . . . Well played. It's a little too memey so I think I'm going to reject it. But it was definitely funny so I give you points for that. @Korvpizza These are beautiful! Marked as completed.
  12. Hello everyone! I finally got my computer up and running so I should be able to take a look at these pretty soon... Give me a day or two to get re adjusted and I'll have everyone's reviews up and ready! Thank you for your patience and thank you Zumi for taking the time to look after this thread while I was gone.
  13. Approved! --- Also it's been made more clear that the Machop (Except for Machamp. That one is finished) line is open. We're almost done! Only a few more shinies left to go and then we're done with Gen 1!
  14. No rush! Quality over quantity. Okay, so I noticed something else while QCing these. I lowered the saturation to around 151 on the pink so it would be less... In your face. Pink is one of those dangerous colors to use. If it's too bright/saturated it can overpower the sprite. If you lower it a bit, you'll notice that the gold body stands out more. I already did that to all of these sprites so you don't have to worry about it, but I think you should do it to at least zubat to see what I mean. Overall, very nice job! Marked as completed.
  15. So I think it's pretty appropriate to show my own work here. So here are Geodude, Graveller and Golem. These are based off of Jasper from Steven Universe. The last one is based on corrupted Jasper. If you don't know, I'm actually a huge Lucahjin fan. In her HGSS LP, she caught a Geodude and named it Jasper. So that's what gave me inspiration to make these three. I still think they need a little bit of work, but for now this is what they look like.
  16. Oops, did I? Well, they were really good so they're approved. So is the Electabuzz! It looks really nice. He actually fixed the bellsprout for you so it's all good. Krabby and Kingler are good. Approved. If you make the colors a little darker like this: It will be perfect. Generally if you zoom out and can't notice the shading, then it's probably not proper shading.
  17. Okay, so I have finally have enough time to sit down and quality check these. So, unfortunately, I'm going to have to turn down a lot of these. I've put them in my GG to quality check and a lot of them have a ton of shading issues/color usage issues and I do not have the time to fix all of this. -- Doduo/Dodrio The doduo's coloring is pretty off. The lightest shade in the original sprite is now the darkest for some reason? You used purple for the outline, which doesn't work because the blue is so bright that it contrasts. The saturation difference between the legs/beak/neck are too great. Blue should never be this bright, tbh. It's one of those colors that really hurts the eyes if they're too...lit up. -- Voltorb/Electrode For Voltorb and Electrode, the coloring is fine here, but I think we could do so much more with it. I.e. mocking a different type of Pokeball. That and there are probably too many yellow shinies at this point. -- Snorlax I really like Snorlax, though. So I think I'm going to keep this one. (I'm a fan of Totoro, okay) -- Slowpoke/Slowbro Although I think the Homer Simpson idea is clever, it's just extremely overdone and I think we could do something more original with it. --Exeggcute/Exeggutor Exeggcute is fine, but I'm not satisfied with Exeggutor. It's barely changed other than the coconut head. Which I get is the point, but I don't think it's better than the original shiny. We could do more with this. --Electabuzz The idea of negative/blue-black Electabuzz is insanely cool, but the sprites suffer from the same coloring issues that Doduo suffers from. - Gastly Line I think this one is your best work, tbh. These are really cool and they stand out pretty well. These are approved. So that leads us to the options you can take. You can go back and redo/fix the errors of these sprites, or you can withdraw and open them up to the public for others to work on. (You will still be given credit for working on them). Either option I do really appreciate your help, and I'm really sorry if this came out to be overly critical/harsh. This is not my intention. I just want the best quality possible when it comes to Rejuvenation.
  18. Approved! Go for it. There's no rush. Don't worry about it. I like this idea a lot. I'm going to go with this.
  19. Noted. ALso opened up Venonat and Venemoth.
  20. Nicely done! I'll accept these. Thanks! There are a couple open like Shellder and Cloyster. I'm a little behind of marking down claims, though... I'm dying. This is great. Normally I would accept this, but Alex already made an Albino Ratata/Raticate. But yeah, staying away from Vampire Zubat may be best. Hycrox claimed those two, but if you want to take a shot at it, go ahead.
  21. Oh, no. I'm mean, but not that mean. You can't find cells in places you can only be in temporarily. That's just bad game design. Every cell will be available at all times. I'll also be nice and add NPCs that tell you how many cells are located on each island/How many you've collected on each island.
  22. If I do, it'll only be a very small amount. Unlike the 3DS that is portable and easy to load up whenever, Rejuvenation is different because it's a computer based game. Not everyone has the time to play the game at different times of the day.
  23. It had a lot of errors with it so I told them what to fix, but I haven't seen an updated one since.
  24. This is extremely well done. Great work! Edit: Also opening up Cubone and Marowak. I haven't heard from the person who was originally editing this sprite.
