  1. Hello ^^;! You can translate it for your friends, but be aware that dialogue changes from version to version. If anything I'd wait for the game to be completely finished before anything is translated.
  2. Their age is intentionally left vague (As I'd rather their age be decided by the player).
  3. Update 5 (Final) - 11/2/2016 - Grand Dream City - Pretty sure this is -the- most anticipated area, and with good reason. It's the final hub area in the game. (It's so weird to say that.) I won't go into a lot of specifics, but Grand Dream City will have everything you want and more. It's a city where dreams come true. A dream where hope is born. What does Grand Dream City offer? -A new experience depending on the time of day.- That's right, npcs will differ depending if it's during the day or at night. No area is the same, and many have secrets at each time.* Please note that some areas are still under construction and what you see won't necessarily be in the final version * -------------------------------------------------- Weather Boards- Because Grand Dream City is located under a huge dome, weather is easily manipulated. By paying a small fee, you can change the weather at any time. Besides in-battle effects, it also has overworld effects. Some NPCs won't be present during some weather effects. However, some NPCs will ONLY appear during certain weather. Some examples: -------------------------------------- Department of Dreams. This is what a lot of people have been waiting for. THE DEPARTMENT STORE...But if you think I'm just going to let you walk in and buy any item you want without some sort of catch, well, dear, you just don't know me enough. The Department of Dreams will work similarly to Reborn's department store. Instead of stickers to gain access to each floor, you'll need to gain popularity. Popularity is gained through stamps. Stamps act exactly like Reborn's stickers. You collect more, you gain more floors. (Max 11 as of now). Be careful, though... There are only 100 stamps in Grand Dream City. Many people dream to get to the top of the Department Store. Only very few have. Will you be able to collect enough stamps without getting yourself in a world of trouble? -------------------------------------------------- Lastly, (And this is the reason why this post was late, but it was #worth) we have new official artwork for each of the protagonists! (Drawn by Zumi!) Aevis: Aevia: Axel: Aria: Alain: Aero Thank you guys for sticking around with me! Of course there will be other updates in the future, but they won't be weekly anymore. I'll update what I think is best to update you all on. Until then, see you guys next time!
  4. They won't move. They'll still be in the same area.
  5. Corta Forest is no longer. Mirage Woods is what replaces it. Extra Litwick. No update will ever change your file that drastically.
  6. Mhm. I sprited all three myself. Edit: Well to be more precise, I sprited the top down view of the gates. Zumi did the side to side because perspective pls.
  7. Took a while, but I finalllyyy got it. Not bad for my first season. Idc if Season 7 starts in December. It starts in February for me.
  8. Nah, there are events blocking the pool. It just isn't present here in the picture.
  9. Update #4 - 10/26/16 Today's update is a little late, b-but I was busy!! I promise!!! Route 3 takes the cake for the second most reworked area (That you guys have seen) in the game. Unfortunately I wasn't able to map the vision I had for this route the first time so I guess Route 3 times the charm...heh. Corta Forest -> Mirage Woods One of my goals for these -final- and I mean -final- reworks was to give some sort of an exploration aspect. There aren't many places you can go after you finish the route on your first go. Hopefully these reworks will change things and give more content to keep players busy. ---------------------------- Next up is an important update. Amaria. She's the last person in the game I'm just not content with. Originally her name was pulled from one of my friends at the time (Contrary to popular belief, it was not taken from Reborn, but I can see why one would think that). I originally was going to change her name a long time ago to avoid confusion but my friend who was -very- adamant insisted that it stayed that way. Unfortunately for her, this will not be the case anymore. Amaria -> Amanda I didn't like how similar her and Hilda were, so I just decided to overwork her appearance completely. She still has the notable aspects of who Amaria once was, but in a different fashion. ---------------------------- Lastly, I'd like to show off some updated player character models for Aevia, Axel and Ariana. Aevia Ariana Axel Small detail, but big for some...There will actually be running animations for each character (I wanted to show them now, but imgur is being a shit. I'll show them next week.) I don't know if I'm going to go to the other characters and update them quite yet for next week, but we'll see. ---------------------------- That's it for now. Sorry for the late update. Next week is the final update for a while. We're going to take a look at Grand Dream City! I know that's what most of you are looking forward to c:
  10. So I took a look at this myself and found the problem. Have you used teleport or anything of that sort in the same area you fought Valarie? Or did you just walk around like normal? Anyway, I did fix your save file personally and I apologize for this annoying bug. Game.rxdata
  11. Update - #3 - 10/19/16 Before I start today's update...Last time I said I would go into two new character reworks, but I'm only going to go over one of them today because the other one is going under some tweaks. That being said...The girl with the Psychic charm has been visually reworked! On a journey alone, Nim finds the one who she thinks she can finally trust....that's you! Nim was always supposed to come off as this weird and ditzy girl who didn't exactly fit in. While her previous design did get that point across...It was pretty bland and it didn't really stick out as much as I've wanted it to. I've kept some of the same design elements of Nim, but added a little bit more flair. ------------------------------- Amethyst Cave Rework #3 Amethyst Cave...This area has given me so much trouble, but I think I've finally created a permanent design and theme that will finally send the vibe I was trying to create. Here are some screenshots of the new Amethyst Cave! Amethyst Cave was always supposed to be this place where you could tell that it's been heavily processed and hollowed through*. Previous iterations haven't exactly gotten that across. In the new Amethyst Cave, you'll find abandoned mine carts, jewels, and machines that unveil a secret that -also- hasn't been thoroughly translated... What that secret is? Well, maybe you'll learn a thing or two by completing the "Litwick Sidequest" again. (Event has been reset for old save files. This quest is also renamed the "Amethyst Mines" sidequest). *(Those pink areas in the snapshots indicate a hole in the ground. You'll be able to see lower floors through them.) --------------------------------- That's all there is for this update. Short one, I know. Next week we'll get into the final reworked area(s), and one final reworked character. After that, I think it's time to head on over to Grand Dream City. CURSED IMAGE (Supplied by Zumi)
  12. Idk if it's just me, but you can see the distaste in Masuda's face. I feel pretty bad. That aside, the starters have grown on me so I don't mind the evolutions, tbh.

Are you using a Mac? If so, delete the file named 569cry_1 located in Audio/SE and it should work after that.

  14. You haven't met him yet. You will in Version 9.
  15. There's only a huge spike in progress because I'm getting the easy stuff out of the way first. So that just sort of flies by. It'll slow down eventually.
  16. Type:Null is so cool.

    1. Pocky

      Pocky

i will tell my neighbors, protect this chimera pupper, and care for it. it is too precious.

  17. It depends on the trainer you're dealing with.. The two shown here have 1 main Pokemon with support Pokemon to back them up. That's not to say that you should dismiss the supports. One wrong move and you'll be in for a hell of a trip. Off course this won't always be the case, and I'll have to include certain things to make them interesting, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. And yes, you'll be able to face these trainers any time throughout the game. There is no cut off point. I haven't decided if I wanted to scale the teams with the # of badges up or not... We'll see.
  18. Update # 2 10/12/2016 Unlike Gearen City, there's another place that received a higher scale rework. Those would be Goldenwood Forest, Goldenwood Cave and Goldenwood Grotto! Goldenwood Forest: Goldenwood Cave: Goldenwood Grotto In addition to that, two other things had a visual rework of their own. Zetta and the Dimensional Rift! ------------------------------------ Deviating from stuff in Goldenwood Forest...Introducing Challenge Trainers! Challenge trainers add a unique new type of battle that focuses more on themes and specific strategies to overcome any battle. The troll trainer with the Alakazam in Gearen City is now replaced with a challenge trainer. Though the battle is different, I'm sure you'll suffer all the same. If you can defeat all* of the challenge trainers, something nice will happen! *Note, not all of the challenge trainers will be present in V9. ------------------------------------ Something that I've really struggled with is showing expression within NPC's and certain characters. It's really hard to see what a person is feeling when they're just a punch of clumped up pixels. So, because of that, I've added more "emotes" and "poses". Here are some examples: ----------------------- And finally... Two new Pokeballs! These are the Mineral and Steam Balls. Mineral Ball: Specializes in capturing Rock, Ground, and Steel-Types. Steam: Specializes in capturing Water, and Fire-Types. ----------------------- That's all for now. Next Wednesday we'll go to another place that has gotten a visual rework. As well as two more characters that have gotten visual reworks themselves! Edit: Updated the first status post.
  19. Now, now... let's not jump to conclusions here...
  20. First update! Gearen City has been left neglected for far too long. It's up to two daring people to change things for the better...! Jan and Zumi join the fight! Similar to Ame's appearance in Reborn, you can find Jan at the new Gearen Laboratory...for like 5 seconds and then I disappear for the whole game. You can find Zumi at the Magnolia Library anytime, though! Jan and Zumi, originally from Grand Dream City, have made their way to Gearen City to make it a better place. Next time you walk around Gearen City, you'll notice some differences. One major difference is Venam's Gym! Due to the concern of the "Corruption" or rather, the "Badland's Curse" spreading, Venam's old gym was demolished in favor of a Badlands research center. Do not fret! Venam was given her own section of the factory to use as her gym and it looks like she appreciates it... I think. Rumor has it that there's also a secret to her gym, but who knows what it could be? But trying to run a research center on your own takes up a lot of income. There's no way two ordinary people could fund something as big as a factory. That's why Jan and Zumi evicted every single resident of Gearen City in favor of new office buildings!! The Velvet, Aqua, Emerald, and Violet Apartments have been reconstructed into the Velvet, Aqua, Emerald, and Violet Buildings! They are also now color coated now. (Due to request!) Finally, the Abandoned Sewer has been remodeled. Nothing to really say here. Design is overall pretty similar. Mostly a structural change. --------------------- Oh, and for those wondering what happened to the dear, precious lives who once resided in Gearen...They were given free apartments in Grand Dream City as compensation. They're living the life right now. You'll be seeing some familiar(?) residents at Grand Dream City when you get there!! Though... some haven't left because they can't cope with the reality that their home is no longer there... ---------------------- For those of you who can't BEAR to live life without Jan, do not fear! Jan is now the official Gym Guide. Panels will be located around designated arenas. (Of course, sometimes there won't be for story reasons, but someone around will help you instead.) You may be wondering... what happens to the old gym guides? Well... ---------------------- Finally, we've hired new New Nurse Joys because the old ones were lame and boring....Oh, that and there are two new worker trainer classes. o7 That's all for now. I'll see you guys next Wednesday. (The status chart will be updated every Wednesday now too.) TL:DR version:
  21. I still only got an A,, but whatevs.
