  1. A higher quality version of that came out. It also includes part of the wild encounter music.
  2. Yeah, this was reported. Fixed in V8. Please put this in the Save file troubleshooting thread. There should be a file in the folder Audio/SE/ called 569_Cry. Delete this file and you will be able to progress. Wine emulators are very finicky about certain sound files and they can crash for no reason. It's a shame.
  3. Oh.... thank you for notifying me of that!
  4. I was going to post this earlier but I got lazy and fell asleep. Anyways! To explain why Solgaleo is a Steel/Psychic type. To address the first point of: "The sun is on fire, the Pokemon of the sun should be fire too!" This is actually a misconception! The sun is not actually on fire at all. For burning to be possible, oxygen must be present, and as the sun is in space where there is no oxygen, it is not on fire. It is however going through a process called nuclear fusion. Elements are being fused together to create Iron. Iron is a component of Steel. yada yada. Upon further research I've found out that the alchemical symbol for -metal- is a lion eating the sun. Which is mentioned in Solgaleo's info on the website. tl:dr Solgaleo is based off the alchemical symbol for metal, and the sun isn't actually on fire. Hence the absence of a fire type. Edit: Literally right after I posted this I found a reddit explaining it. Rip, probably should of just linked that instead. https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/4m7vad/just_for_clarification_solgaleo_the_beast_who/ There's also an island just left of the island on the far right.
  5. Game theory: Alola region is Aevium in a different dimension.

Well good luck with all spriting tho.

  6. Most of them won't be this time around. Specifically all the ones on Terajuma, Goldenleaf, Route 3, and Akuwa Town. In this case Gearen Laboratory will be your major safe zone area.
  7. Perhaps. Anyways, all of the new content has been finished finally. Have something old, but new!
  8. All right. This is the common argument that I see when regarding Pikachu. Pikachu suffers from something that any Pokemon would suffer from if it was listed as the -mascot- That's right, Pikachu is the mascot. That being said, it's only normal for a company to cater more to the image of their entire franchise. If Clefairy was settled as the mascot as it was originally planned, people would hate Clefairy just the same. It's just baseless hate that just bores me at this point. Secondly, in regards to the light ball. This goes back to Pikachu being their mascot. They wanted Pikachu to be at least somewhat viable without boosting its base stats a ton. Fine, whatever. I don't even think it accomplished that anyway. That's not what bothers me though. If you're going to complain about the light ball then you might as well bring every other Pokemon exclusive stat enhancing item out there. (Thick Club, Lucky Punch etc...) Pikachu isn't the only one with an item like this. You also fail to mention the existence of the eviolite. You know, that item that makes some previous evolutions more viable than their final stage? tl:dr Pikachu is the mascot, deal with it. That's literally the only reason why it gets special treatment. If it were any other Pokemon, it'd be the same. Most of it is just biased hate. It's fine to dislike a Pokemon, but to dislike a Pokemon for something like this is petty. God forbid there's one creature out of the 720+ that you don't like. You can't be expected to like every Pokemon design, though, putting down a game that you spent 30$ on for one Pokemon is a bit extreme.
  9. It's not actually going anywhere. It was just a joke, haha.
  10. It got extemely hot extremely fast. This weather needs to chill. Literally.

  11. Pickup removed from V8 confirmed.
  12. And I appreciate that immensely. The continued support this community gives drives me to work even harder. Since I haven't posted anything in quite a bit, have something small, but very much deserved. A sprite update for our lovable, but problematic poison queen! (From old to new)
  13. Small progress has been made. Haven't been able to work on this effectively lately because of school, but now that I'm out there should be a pickup in development. Soon.
  14. The quick claw was not axed. It was just moved further on.
  15. I actually forgot that place existed tbh. And actually, the idea for Valor mountain was born from my indecisiveness. Do I want this mountain to be frozen, or volcanic?? Frozen or Volcanic????? Here's a better option: BOTH. I wish the truth was more impressive than that, but that's honestly all it was.
  16. I know I haven't really given much about V8, and I have reasons for that- Just bear with me. It isn't the longest version (Which is why I refrain from giving things away. There's too little for me to give away in the first place), or the most eventful version, but I believe that it's a gateway into the second act. (Think of V7 like a prelude).
  17. They're still around. The only thing that changed is that they aren't very common outside of caves anymore. That, and they produce extremely rare items.
  18. Pretty much finished all of the new content in V8 (Except for like one sidequest, but I digress) Version 8 is coming along nicely.
  19. Got a Pentakill that game too. It was a fun time.
  20. Theoretically you can use any amount of Pokemon to get through the game. Which ones you choose will dictate how difficult some battles will be, though. On my first Reborn file I only used 6 pokemon and I got to the end of the current demo. Yes, it was more difficult than it probably would've been if I got a 7th, but eh, I'm stubborn. If things get too difficult, there's no shame in picking up a 7th or 8th or whatever. In fact, it's a pretty common and effective strategy.
