  1. Not indefinitely. I don't want the Fight Club to exist solely to grind Credits. As the game progresses a story will develop behind the Fight Clubs and for players to pursue that plot. That being said, eventually at Cellia's biggest fight club you can grind indefinitely, but for this lowkey Fight Club you can only gain so many Credits before they ban you, that is, for your safety.
  2. Noted. As I've said before though, please keep bugs to the PM's, thanks.
  3. Could you explain this in more detail please? Preferably through PM.
  4. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN! *evil laughter* As for your Brass Key
  5. Move-sets are ORAS. I won't put move-sets that are that competitive on a Swablu that requires very little effort to get. 1 and 2: 3: I actually managed to find a solution to the meowstic problem this morning. It is indeed patched for Episode 3.1 4: Thank you! Positive feedback gives me a big boost! EDIT: Gotcha Tempo, I managed to script it in using multiple forms.
  6. Looking at my future game ideas list, you're basically a prophet.
  7. In regards to the many 'key' questions, I'll give you a rundown.
  8. I've had some questions about the post I made a few days ago regarding mega evolution. I thought I'd make the system clear. I want to perhaps add in one new custom mega each month or two. 1: I create a poll with suggestions from myself and you guys. The poll lasts for three weeks. 2: The winning suggestion is guaranteed a Mega Evolution, which I implement in the fourth week, consulting experienced battlers in the competitive scene here beforehand. 3: I post the new mega evolution here on the last day of the four week cycle. 4: The day after, I put the new suggestions in a new poll. Second and sometimes third place in the previous poll will be included in the suggestions. I hope that helps you understand a little better how this'll work. I appreciate mega evolution ideas from the community, particularly battlers here who know what is viable in the metagame and what is too powerful, or too weak.
  9. I'm really glad to hear all the positive feedback on the new content so far, thanks for that. I'm happy that the quality of my work has improved and I only hope it continues to do so.
  10. This is unfortunate, man. Being in debt that isn't good debt sucks. I hope things look up soon. Guess the Horizonmobile was not all that it seemed.
  11. Hearing Gwyn's theme in the Soul of Cinder boss still gives me goosebumps, damn.

  12. Really got to make a spoiler thread. Curiosity always gets the better of us especially when we only need to click a little spoiler tag. If you haven't played the Episode then avoid clicking spoiler tags like the plague, for your own sake.
  13. The hotfix is out. Sorry for the inconvenience frens. Link Please note that mediafire is garbage and so the only current link is for Mega. Main thread links have been updated.
  14. Players. After the flood of PM's I got while I was sleeping I can safely say that Episode 3 needs a hotfix build. This build is uploading now, so before you download, please consider waiting until v3.0.1 is released. Thank you. For those that have already download Episode 3, don't fret, there is nothing particularly game breaking in new content, only old content.
  15. Send me your save and I can try and resolve it, although I did warn not save.
  16. I have no idea. Win zip is foreign to me.@Fairfamily, you're a hero. Looks like I'm gonna have to do a hot fix. Great. @Masquerain, please do send it. If you're only referring to Episode 1 content then perhaps you can take a guess at why it's being entirely revamped for Episode 4. @Everyone. Please try to report bugs through PM until I can be bothered making a bug thread. Thank you!
  17. The metaphors and symbolism actually killed me. I'm ded. I really liked this piece and the consistent flow it had made it enjoyable to read. I especially like how you express at the end that your pen is indeed, your dedication and love for your craft. I really liked that idea. Good job.

This game was really, really great. The narrative had me pulled in from the get-go. What seems like such a... dull concept, turns out to be something really quite clever. Certainly one of the best walking simulators around. I had only one gripe with the game, although I would consider it to be a spoiler.
  19. The Hands and the side-quest of the gang leader, Boss.
  20. Pokemon Desolation Episode 3 Okay, okay, I get it. The long list of announcements to wait out this Episodes release is finally over. Episode 3 is out and no, this isn't a Rick Roll. I'm sure many of you will just jump the gun and go to the download, but for those of you who are still reading, you the real mvp. This Episode took a while due to many things, schoolwork, life, the usual excuses for a dev not to do any work. But because this is my final year, I won't have much time to work on Desolation for a while. I love my story, of course I do, what kind of dev would hate their own story? Because of this, I always tried to put 100% into the game and when my time became scarce, I neglected many important things, putting this story first. I realized my mistake and eagerly tried to push this Episode out of the gate, resulting in a very buggy beta experience. I deeply regret releasing the beta so early, but with the testers brilliant help, I believe I've managed to bring this Episode to perfection. Bold claim, Caz. Settle down a bit, huh? I've been working on Desolation for over a year now and of course, it's been a bumpy ride. When I first begun this project, it was far from great, especially considering I was just learning the ropes, but with the community's help, I've really managed to improve my work. So of course, here's some people I feel I need to thank. Etesian: The biggest helper when I released the first version of Episode 1. He helped me lock down bugs, gave advice on story and pushed me to my limit. He was the first person who was really constructive with their criticism and without that original criticism, I would have been unable to improve. Simon and Ice Cream Sandwitch: I put you together because you helped in the same way. Firstly, both of you of course tested Desolation, with Simon testing both Episode 2 and 3. But more importantly you've been quite supportive in the thread. Problem living here is that when the site is most active, I'm busy counting sheep in my sleep. Simon and ICSW have helped with that, answering common questions in the thread when I'm unable to do so. Thanks for the support. Alilatias and Tempo17 and Protonymic: Three extensive helpers in the beta testing of Episode 3. Tempo put a lot of time in effort into locking down on bugs, and offering me feedback. Alilatias also helped come up with some interesting side quest plots, bringing some new elements into the story. Protonymic was extremely helpful. He put huge amounts of time into reviewing the entire experience from start to finish, helping me understand what worked and what didn't from a completely unbiased perspective. Without them, Episode 3 would be a lot more buggy than it (hopefully) is now. ExElliOdys, Pearl and Akuma-Tsubasa: These three have been exceptionally helpful in the creation of Desolation. Pearl produced many sprites that you will see in Episode 3 and Akuma and Ex have produced sprites that you will see in the games future. Pearl has left the forum and cannot help in the future, however. With their high quality sprites, the games overall quality has increased quite significantly. Ame and Jan: How could I forget Ame and Jan. I always looked up to Ame's work, and always saw her as a foreign figure. I mean this in the way that I would never be able to create a fangame, that it would be too complex. Her work was of that a high quality that I felt I couldn't make something as good. I respected it that much. When Rejuvenation came out and it mentioned Reborn in the intro, I felt like it was more down to earth. Someone, who always respected Ame's work, had made a great fangame, so why couldn't I? Without their inspiration, I wouldn't have created Desolation. So there you have it ladies and gents. This marks three Episodes for Pokemon Desolation and I hope we can share at least three more. Version 3.0 29/4/2016 Episode 3.0.1 - Dreams Mega

  22. Your Jinx friends don't need your donations in Episode 3. You can certainly spend it elsewhere.
  23. Shiv obviously has powers of some degree and as does Nova. The reasoning is explained later. Your friends reasoning is also explained later. She desperately wants to live in a world with no fighting, but her naivety gets in the way. I also understand that it's a choice one would not want to make. Although I agree more followup could and should be added, the choice itself should remain. It forces the player to not make the right choice, but choose the lesser of two evils. Sounds like politics.
  24. I know people are often not a fan of fan-megas. This is why I'm being as cautious as I can trying to make a mega that is not only authentic, but balanced and of high quality. They were all 'mons I had already thought of concepts for. I said I would accept PM's for ideas too. Vivillon is actually one of these, along with Butterfree.
