It's you when you Radomus gives you his meteor clothes for the sidequest

Everyone seems pretty sure no one is going to die but you all remember that the George r r martin of pokemon is writing this game right?
-
So maybe it's just because happiness and reborn don't mix well but am I the only one who thinks Amaria or Titania are dead or both. I mean the last person to jump off a cliff painted the town red. (enough dark humor, hell is kinda hot) Honestly though how could they have survived even if there weren't sharp rocks at the bottom if you hit water hard enough it can kill you instantly. Anyone else think so or am I alone?

Alice in wonderland theme would be most appropriate seeing as how xe was tossed and locked in another world surrounded by strange individuals.
-
So the chessboard arena? But fairy based? Why not something like a "clean room" that depowers certain poison moves and makes it so splash damage moves dont work.
-
I think its safe to assume that Azumarill, Gardevoir and Togekiss will be on xyr team. Then if there's a lot of setup involved probably Mr.Mime and Klefki. And probably Carbink just so stealth rock is a thing if Diancie isn't used (I think its a legendary so maybe not). The layout will probably be something that hurts steel type since they can wall fairies easier than poisons can. Since the average speed of fairies is like 50, not gonna lie this is going to be an easy gym in comparison to monsters like Noel or Charlotte.

The "Tales of..." series is one I don't ever see talked about or hear I guess. It's my favorite rpg and the core gameplay allows for a lot of interesting things especially joining up with friends in a nutty frenzy of attacks. The stories are always fun and the skits. The skits are the funniest things ever done. The best in my opinion is probably Abyss just because of character growth with Symphonia and Xillia 1 tying for second. Don't play grandia.... just don't. They should all be pretty cheap at this point and Abyss even got a remake on the ds if that's your thing. Another game that was great that at least got good ratings but I never hear about is "The world ends with you" greatest game on the NDS by far from characters to gameplay to an awesome soundtrack.

Fighting probably with their stats being pretty good even among the worst of the kind. Dragon is tough yes but being super effective to nothing makes it not so reliable and the fact that a fraction of them are 4x weak to ice since a lot of them also are fliers. Fighting takes down rock, steel, ice, dark and normal and is one of the few types that even in a bad situation like against a weakness can still hold its own given a decent setup. (that and fliers arent exactly winning strongman competitions). I swear if they would just make a fighting electric type it would be the best in the game. Likely OU tier speed with paralyze and crazy attack.

I'll agree sometimes it isnt easy to figure out the strategy. Also a massively hard problem with Charlotte is not being able to backtrack. While in other genres backtracking is usually unavailable, in an rpg like pokemon not being able to go back to grow your team or find items actually can be extremely limiting and against what seems to be the first "true" challenge of reborn. (make of that statement what you will). I see your point Alilatias.

I personally thought it was more rewarding with Charlotte's old team. It was so damn hard that when I finally got a strategy to beat her I literally danced. Second time I played her when she had Darmanitan, I wrecked her with Chesnaught and healers. (He's grass and his sp def is pathetic.) I think the challenge is appropriate and realistic even in the most painful gym which is Charlotte or arguably Noel (for where he is). OP is never the right term for gym leaders because never in a challenge should you be able to have lost and learned from an opponent 30 times in an hour. Gym leaders don't know your 6+ pokemon and all four of each of their moves so really who is OP? I still whenever hitting a roadblock re-read Timber Dragon's old post about Reborn not being hard because its unfair, its hard because its hard. If you're really having trouble there are 2 great pokemon right before Charlotte Kingdra (find horsea with deep sea scale I think) and Walrein (thick fat for extra trolling). Is it a hard fight, well yeah but if you want easy play X and Y those games were pants poopingly easy.

One of these three beauts would be my number one broski. Even Garchomp would lead the charge in the elites

Dang, that'd be sweet. Well hopefully someone else sees this and is willing to help out as well.

Yeah its great, you think you'll be able to help me out with this?

Hello and I really hope I'm in the right place since I... I'm not sure. I just got alpha Sapphire since I had sapphire as a kid and it was my jam. Before I even open it I know I don't want any of the starters since I've played with them all hundreds of times in the original version as well as reborn so I'm a tad sick of them. I want to trade my starter for a different starter. My preferences are Gible, Deino and Scyther. Gible I think wins it. (Don't care about stats or nature, just the poke and that its a male.) Anyone interested in helping this dashing young rouge rock with his specialized starter please let me know. Thanks soon to be pal.

Charlotte's mons have ev training roughly equal to what standard trainers would look like reaching her gym but her's are focused to atk/spatk/spd I believe. Best bet is to have a pokemon who can get off Rain dance (a lot of pokemon can learn it) I just fought her leading with Chesnaught so I can't say its impossible to do with a decent team. Just look for ways to negate pokes and if that fails get Kingdra. Water/Dragon at that level will wreck her squad in absence of sunny day.

I'm going to assume you mean Ralts and it's available around badge 5 in the underground railnet. Break open walls and find magnet powder. Then head to the pokeball mart in town. Also there is a pokemon location guide which may help you in the future.

I hate the first guy at the bridge when you start the journey, Total douche-monkey. Other than that love everyone.

I already said why I thought the "champ in the making" guy is champ. There's a thread about it some four stories ago. Truth though I don't think we've met the champ yet. Everyone is calling Anna but Noel was about to mention her rank to us at like badge 6. No one as smart as him would say that someone who is practically a newbie should face the best in the world. Lin dies (according to shade's monitor) so probably not her, Ame said she's not anyone important to the story this can be doubled by any of the admins and ace members. My honest opinion is that no one has proven themselves strong enough to be champ material besides Solaris and while he's my favorite, I don't think he's E4 material. That's my two cents, feel free to spend as you will.

I think I speak for a lot of us when I say even with the disadvantage against steel, I'd rather have Cain as teammate. Also he'd be the only contender since Victoria's badge amount is like 0 where as Cain arguably has as many as we do. Also I think the double leader idea is terrifying and fun at the same time but that field would be soooooo OP (unless Lava plume or eruption in absence of rain destroyed it). Final note 12 highly trained IV/EV pokes versus the player (moderate-highly) trained 6 seems unfair even by reborn standards. Cool idea if we get a teammate.
-
You never defeat Solaris. I believe you mean Sirius?
-
Maybe the player was part of the plan, he was there to make sure Ame died on the train to throw the leaders into chaos but lost all memory when the train crashed.

High intelligence profiles are of extreme interest to Meteor as we've seen on a few occasions. So Terra fit the bill. Julia.... I don' think so. While I did like the theory and there are a few questions there that should be answered I don't think it was Julia being evil more of she's tier one and we're jumping to tier 6 real quick. I don't think Julia is a meteor and I think it would be REALLY surprising if she was but not a very good twist solely on what Etesian said about her not being around enough from gym 1. Cool Theory though.

Emolga is a good hero. The combo is nice for stopping enemies and its speed outclasses most pokes you'll fight. If you're in a pinch its worth it. Kricketune is pretty good. It can actually even sweep the poison gym if you get enough fury cutters in unless you miss an attack and it will at the most inopportune time but otherwise thats pretty good too. Since you on you're second playthough now you probably don't know about the true hero Gyrados' contribution but that was a wonderful assistant. Kricketune loses its viability around badge 5 due to subpar stats but any poke can be useful if you plan well enough. My Chesnaught swept Cal. Even Charizard didn't do shez. (Btw swept with stunning help)
-
I don't think anyone that has played this game for more than one run sleeps on Emolga. It's just a beast in terms of typing and that electro ball-nuzzle combo. Also Let us not forget the early game stopping power of Kricketune. Technician Fury cutter. All will fall.

Oh... my apologies. Carry on.
