  1. So there's this cool website called Babel's Librabry, where every possible combination of the letters of the alphabet is written in a page somewhere. That means that everything that can, has and will be thought, said or written is already there somewhere. Turns out you can find any information about any fakemon in Se7en, any quote from any book, any bit from a TV series' scripts.... if you're lucky to find them

      Yeah, I'll say...

so it kinda defeats the whole purpose of a legitimate library :I

What good is knowledge if it is eternally inaccessible even to those with the initiative to even bother searching for it in the first place?

((Well, not inaccessible, just eternally ellusive, but that's even worse, like a taunt. It's there, it exists, you have access to it... but you'll just never find it. It's like some very frustrating, dickish joke...)

Well Strats, that's the actual point of the original story by Jose Luis Borges, "The Library of Babel", that inspired this website.

In that story, the universe of Babel is an infinite Librabry, and so despite there being all knowledge of all things, it was impossible to find so the inhabitants turn to cults and beliefs instead. Is a pretty interesting concept.
