  1. No, that's just dedpol being deadpool. The eyes in the hair are false eyes (I put them there because when I was drawing this thing I realised its hair kinda looked like a mouth if you added two eyes on top xD), but the real eyes are the green circles in the face. So in some sort of way, yep, you can say the dots in the hair are hair accessories. FABULOUS ones, at that.
  2. Hmm, Azery and Hukuna justified their choices, must do the same cuz I like writting about the stuff I like (in this case, types xD) 1) Ghost - This is best type. Like, every day of the week, every month of the year, every gen of the franchise (except 1), ghost rules. One ghost to rule them all, one ghost to find them. Since I discovered pokémon had types and that there was this one type called Ghost, it's grown to be my undoubted favorite of all times. Statistically and type-wise, I love them because no matter what type you pair ghost with, you'll get something awesome, making it the defacto most awesome type on existence. Immune to normal and fighting, resistant to bug and poison, weak to itself and dark, pretty much makes it so that no matter what secondary type you give a ghost, you'll always end up giving it more or at least an equal amount of resistances than it has weaknesses. And this is true, go look it up, EVERY type combo with ghost has either the same or more resistances than it has weaknesses, AND, there's only one type combo with quadruple weaknesses, ghost/psychic. All of this makes ghost one of the best defensive types in the game together with fairy, steel and poison in my book. But offensively, is also great, being the single best offender for neutral coverage in the whole game, paired with dragon: normal has ghost immune to it and is resisted by rock and steel; dark has nothing immune to it, but is resisted by itself, fairy and fighting; Ghost and Dragon, on the other hand, are each resisted solely by one other type (dark and steel, respectively) and have one thing immune to them (normal and fairy, respectively), making them the two best neutral offenders in the game. Ghost also generally have great stats: they make up for generally low HP with great attack, defense, special attack, special defense and speed, and well, that in the cases where they actually have low HP. Even the two ghost types with the lowest BST, Shedinja and Sableye, are both beasts in their respective niches: if your opponent has nothing to hit Shedinja with you've won, as simple as that, and there are few things that can NOT get burned, poisoned, taunted, swaggered or shadow sneaked by a Sableye. Move and role-wise, ghosts are defined by bulbapedia as "mainly used to inflict status conditions". Welp, not gonna say that's not true: most, if not all, of the ghosts I use have either w-o-w or toxic. But far from depending on those moves alone, ghosts can be good attackers, good defenders, good supporters, good whatever. They aren't the best at those roles (in general), but they can play every single one of them, being in my eyes as versatile as the normal type. Ghosts are also annoying. VERY annoying. And that's another of the reasons that they're my fav type. Pain Split, w-o-w, destiny bond, grudge, shadow sneak, curse, hex, night shade, nightmare, trick-or-treat, cursed body, shadow tag.... they are the ultimate annoying type, and that strikes me in a good way. I love being able to annoy without having to necessarily stall to death the opponent, because that takes long and is boring. Is a type that I can personally say I love each and every single pokémon on it design-wise. I have tried to find a ghost I don't like, and I can say there simply is none: from Shedinja to Giratina, all of them are great and lovable. Most favorite ghosts: ALL OF THEM (top 1 being Gourgeist <3 ) Less favorite ghosts: none. If anything, there are some that are a pain to fight against (namely Cofagrigus, Aegislash, Trevenant), but that's part of their charm to be, so I can say no ghost type I don't like. Rotom forms I don't consider ghost types, because they're not. 2) Psychic - Had the best time of its life in gen 1, being immune to ghost and only having to worry about a strong STAB pin missile (this is, nothing at all XD), and despite further gens have only nerfed it with the additions of things like the dark type, instead of acting like the fanboys of dragon types do with fairies for being immune to their dragons, I instead love the dark type as well, so wicked cool of a type, but just not in my 3 favs (it actually takes the 5 spot lol). I will keep loving psychic and everything related to it, from the ability magic guard to some of my favorite moves, like psychic, miracle eye, trick room, and so on. Not as notable type-wise as ghost is, but hey, you can only be so awesome. They instead have no immunities and just two resistances to fighting and itself (I always thought they should resist fairy and poison as well: such a high intelligence should be resistant against pixie magic and mundane chemical venoms), but a man can dream. Offensively, they're one out of 2 types able to handle poison super-effectively, and they can also hit fighting types pretty pretty hard. They're very varied statistically as well. There are straight offenders like Alakazam, with gargantuan SpA and Speed, but horrible defensive prowess. Others, such as Reuniclus, can use magic guard and a variety of shenanigans such as trick room to last long. Some are bulkier or have tricks even dirtier than dark types, like Wobbuffet, so cheap that it will always wait for you to attack it first, and unless you have a status move or a SE move, if you switch into it, you've lost that mon. Oh, did I mention ghost types are immune to all trapping moves and abilities? another reason that justifies the spot they occupy for me xD Most favorite psychics: all of them really, but Top spots are Reuniclus (is a CELL for arceus' sake), Delphox (favorite starter tied with Serperior), Sigilyph, Gardevoir and Malamar. Less favorite psychics: the mega forms of mewtwo, overpowered as fuck and shouldn't exist in the first place, similar to mega metagross, and I guess I could count in mega gardevoir/gallade, but you can actually kill those, unlike the god-like fucks mentioned above. Hoopa-unbound would be here if A) it wasn't so sick-looking and it wasn't devastated by a single x-scissor. 3) Fairy - The type of hatred. Like really, reeeeally the type of hatred. A type fans complained, ranted, mistrusted, devaluated and hated upon learning of its existence, but if they had any reason (and they do in some things), the fault would ultimately be Gamefreak's, not the type. That's one of the things that makes it appealing to me: the fact that, just by existing, it can annoy and make mad so many people, is an incredibly cute and tiny beast that feeds on the hate it generates and only gets stronger and monster-like inside, and I tend to love characters like these in media. I still find it funny and ironic how the fairy type is basically the same as the dark type in gen 2 (both 1 immunity, fairy is strong against 3 and dark against 2, fairy is weak against 2 and dark is weak against 3), and yet everyone loved dark types and hated on fairy types. Must be because dark types didn't nerf dragons XD But outside of the jokes, fairy is a very good type, at least to me, for two reasons: it gave poison a HUGE boost in the competitive scene, like, I never saw anything other than toxic before fairies, and I rarely saw poison types either, so it makes me such so happy that poison is made so worth by this type being weak to it. Unlike steel, whose offensive attacks suck outside of bullet punch/iron head/meteor mash/flash cannon (and why I think fairies didn't really helped steel that much), poison has always had the moves to become a good offensive type, but never had the chance as there were so many better choices to get rid of grass. But what you got for fairies? it seems to be you'll be needing good ol' poison for the pesky pixies. Derived from these, I love the fact that Dragalge gets used because it can get rid of fairies so well: Dragalge is a sick-looking dragon type, yet I bet my ass it would get less usage if fairy types weren't there to help it be SE against them. The second reason is that it is a type built around special defense (in general, like how ghosts usually have low HP), and the majority are VERY good special walls, and have good movepools, derived from the fact that most fairy types were previously normal types, who have WIIIIIIDE movepools. Fairy clefable gets moves I'm sure it wouldn't if it was planned as a fairy type all along. There are some things I'd change about fairies tho, is not all love and roses as it is with ghost. For example, I'd made them no longer resist bug. The poor bug types, my 4th favorite type, don't need another thing resisting them, AT ALL. I'd actually make bug reist fairy instead, it would be so incredible for some overlooked bug/poison types. Psychic types (and arguably, grass types) should also resist fairy in my opinion. Most favorite fairies: most of them, but Top spots are Clefable, Azumarill and Sylveon. Less favorite fairies: xerneas, because geomancy is just too OP (you're not supposed to get 2 quiver dances in one, that's not how balance works you!), mr mime (because I think it should have been left as pure psychic or if anything be psychic/normal) and Aromatisse/Spritzee, because they CLEARLY had a chance to make them fairy/flying, and make Aromatisse into a neat design based on a flamingo or even the obscure plague doctor, but no, they had to go with the cabarette stubby thing. Such a let down.
  3. Damn, I come back from the bath to keep reading status updates, and they get erased.

Yeah, everybody's being a little bit more edgy than usual :^l

  4. There's no one from the old gen of PTNPTP in here, so I guess no one knows who I am XD Anywyas, ya wrong. SHIA next I guess.
  5. That thing'll fucking cut you XD. Also, goshee and it are both in the amorphous egg group, so yes, it can ideed "fuck goshee" dedpol, it indeed can. Also, this post of mine is post nº1000 on this thread. I guess it would be better spent making some kind of announcement, I mean, is post motherfucking 1000, but oh well, next time...
  6. Two of them are false-eyes tho. But which ones? dun dun DUN!!
  7. I wouldn't put the best type ghosts in underappreciated to be honest. Either at attacking, blocking, defending or causing status, ghosts have always been top in my eyes. Physical ghosts generally have a secondary type that gives them decent physical moves to use (looks at Golurk, Trevenant and Gourgeist), while special ghosts are generally very fast (looks at Gengar and Mismagius). In the middle, there are deffensive oriented ghosts, like Spiritomb, who was excellent prior to fairy types (and still is, don't get wrong ideas) and walls like Jellicent, Cofagrigus or Gourgeist-XL. Oh, and of course, how not to mention the ultimate defensive AND offensive ghost, Aegislash! able to do both things virtue of its typing, ability and stats. I honestly feel like this guy (and mega-metagross) are likely the reason why GF decided to make steel take neutral damage from dark and ghost this gen. I mean, could you imagine a gen 5 Aegislash only weak to EQ and Fireblast? Yeah... Overall, their exclusive immunities paired with all resistances they might get from other types makes them good options to check certain stuff: spinners, mostly. Also, if well predicted, you can switch a ghost into an explosion, endeavor or hi jump kick to either make your foe kill itself with the recoil or being unable to hit and gain a free turn. Ghost wouldn't be as useful if its immunities weren't precisely fighting and normal: we're talking about the single best attacking type, and the single most versatile type in terms of available moves, and move effects. If ghost was immune to, say, poison and steel, it wouldn't be nearly as useful deffensively and strategically as it is currently IMO. And that's why ghost doesn't make it in underappreciated, at least for me.
  8. In-game, I've been able to succesfully use mons of all types. All types have good stuff! But if we're going for the over-looked types, the ones I'd mention have been mentioned by other users already. Rock is a type I really want to love, and when I see that attack, and that defense, it makes my mouth water. Then you get a hold of that special defense, and those weaknesses which are mainly special (ice, water, grass) and you wonder why.... in fact, there are specially defensive rock types, like probopass, but probo is sadly steel/rock, so it will die to everything SE regardless of how defensive it is. Leaving that aside, if you use rock wisely, you'll find some STRONG shit in there: things like Rampardos, Golem or Rhyperior are not to be looked down, not even because of having 2 quadruple weakness to water and grass; just get over that already and discover these guys. Also, anything that is rock type and can learn shell smash is A MONSTER. Carracosta, Crustle and Barbaracle are BEASTS after one of these things, and if Carracosta's got that swift swim and a bit of rain, it murders hard, same as Kabutops. Rock is not as used as it could be. It has lot of potential, and at least I find myself learning stuff about it every now and then. For example, stone edge, I've seen it been used so few times (despite being the 2nd strongest rock type to my knowledge), that I just recently learned it has a high critical hit ratio. Things like rock slide and rock tomb are somewhere in my list of favorite moves, and stealth rock is my fav entry hazard and the best one hands down: it hits fuckin' everything (except magic guard lol). Sandstorm is a lot more useful than it might seem, and I love sandstorm teams and sandstorm in general, it is by far my favorite weather of all times (and the only one Castform can't become....huh). Besides of rock, there's Ice. This guy has one problem and one problem only: no defensive love. Seriously, look at their stats, look at their offensive side. Even when they might not have the best movepools, their secondary types are there to help, and honestly, ice is one of the strongest shits they might ever need. Just....just play well around your weaknesses, because you've got more than you've got resistances. Once you dominate that aspect, you're free to murder souls with one of the 1st class offensive moves in the game, paired with rock and fire for the second place just behind ground and fighting. Bug, grass and poison would be my last 3 choices here. They kinda share the same problem: people just looks them down because they have had the bad luck of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Very few of the people I know chooses the grass starter; very few of the people I know ever catches a bug, or ever uses a bug or poison type past after the 1st gym, if at all. They have so much potential. Grass is as weak deffensively as rock is, but it has so many toys to play with: leech seed, powder moves, giga drain and synthesis...also, grass is one of the few types that actively interacts with all weather conditions: sun and rain both have a positive and hindering effect for the grass type, while sandstorm and hail both are negative for it, at least for a pure grass. Bug can hit hard, status hard, or annoy hard. Is it the fact that bug are some of the most adaptable types out there: depending what good stat you give them, they do different things well. Even things like ledian or ariados have niches: ledian is kind of a special wall and a baton passer, and ariados can set toxic spikes and hit somewhat hard with physical attacks. Bugs are generally like this: strong point, and drawback. If you find the way to use wisely in order to minimize the drawback, is a great type. Exactly the same thing I say for poison.
  9. See the thing in your avi? well its evos were done in the past two days. How do you like that for work?
  10. Oh my god I was sleeping and had this weird three second dream thag goes like: the reborn forum sceeen, and then my voice off says "yo, the forums back, go check it". I grab my phone and BAM! best premonition in a while

  11. Well I hope when I come back tomorrow the forums will still be working. Good nights moon, good nights reborn.

  12. Interesting. I was refering to hack roms for the most part (never owned a run away mon in reborn xD), and in some of those when a digglet appeared you couldn't scape from arena trap, so I assumed.
  13. Oh my god finally, I've been trying to get in here all day

  14. Hm, not bad, not bad at all, at all not bad, no sir, not bad at all. You see Banshy's line is a counterpart to Goshee's line, so since goshee's abilities don't change upon evolution, I'd like to keep the same abilities both in banshy and its final form. So Run away is cool, but remember that ghost types are guaranteed to flee from wild battles regardless of speed, and can scape arena trap and shadow tag, which run away can't do (arceus bless you, gen 6). Snow Cloak is interesting because it raises evasion in hail, but then again, you have to set a hail first; I smell a very strategic, hail centered team. Hmmm, might consider, might consider.
  15. Wait, 3? it went from [REDACTED] to [REDACTED], and then it was changed back to [REDACTED]. Isn't that just 2 changes? o.o
  16. Lol I admit it I have thought about this one just for the lolz sometimes. But the lolz don't make fakemon for a reason. Nope, there's no refrigerate banshy, neither pixilate banshy or spectrilate banshy (cool ability concept tho). Any of them would be just too powerful, too damn powerful (well I guess the spectrilate one couldn't do anything against normal types, but still..).

  17. The more I read dorkly, the more I'm unsure about if dorkly actually likes pokemon or not.

  18. Chaos already killed one of the guys in the team for disobeying her. As for the rest, we're scared for our lives. The motivation to work is real. Also, in reply to Gore, who said the following: boomburst refrigerate gg <--Sorry forgot to click multiquote :/ Boomburst boosted by refrigerate in banshy's final form would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too overkill. Like, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too overkill. I just went and made the calcs with smogon's damage calculator, and it gets a clean 2HKO in everything that is neutral to ice, a 3HKO in everything that resists ice (steel mons and the like) and it directly and straight anihilates everything weak to ice. And well, those calcs assuming the mon hit with boomburst is fully HP and SpD invested, AND has a decent bulk to begin with. In the more fragile mons, it gets a OHKO as well.
  19. Growth is a normal type move? damn. Why didn't anyone told me of this before?

Aren't fairies like, technically speaking, the opposite of dark types? I mean fairies resist almost the exact same things dark is weak to, and they both have one immunity.

Ghost is still the best tho :P

    3. Odybld

      Odybld

I meant, in general. Fairies are good and warm and fuzzy spirits and ghosts are evil spirits that range from pranking to haunting to being vengeful.

    4. zimvader42

      zimvader42

Lol sorry I kinda changed status :/

But yeah seeing it that way, I kinda see what you mean. The only thing I regret from fairies is that they resist bug. As if bug needed another thing resisting it, poor thing :/

  20. I had never seen a double ninja'd before. Truly beautiful. So kingdom hearts huh? I'll have to take a look at that game.
  21. No, they're actually tiny hands. Banshy needs to hold her dress when floating or otherwise the dress falls to the ground. Dammit I've been discovered, abort mission! ABORT MISSION! Jokes aside, those things are neat, but I had never seen them in my life before. What are they, and from which game? Zelda maybe? they give me zelda vibes o.o
  22. I asked my sister to choose 6 pokemon from my PC boxes to form a team. She made a team of dragonite, gardevoir, togekiss, azumarill, roserade and magcargo. I'd say she has good taste, to be the 1st time she sees pokemons other than anime's pikachu :^))

Magcargo or Roserade. Macargo because it's a bit of a dark horse or Roserade because of the depth of its design. The others are super transparent and relatively uninteresting in style

    4. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Yea even though it bad competitively... Magcargo would be it. ((probably because Kyoyoyoyoyooyoyo always calls me one I ended up liking it more than before XD.)) And it's not that I hate the others ((other than Gardevoir... I just really don't like that thing sorry.)), I'm jsut not like crazy about any of them.
