Fire blast when it misses? o,o

I have never done such thing as giving cool names to moves. The most similar thing I can think of are the following: -I usually call explosion big finale. Generally in a phrase like "C'mon electrode, let's end the show with a big finale". -With selfdestruct the thing goes in a similar fashion, but I call it "die for the team" or "kill yourself". Goes like "Koffing, die for the team". -I tend to call any fire type move "flamethrower" or, more generally, just "blast". Use it on my Delphox on phrases like "Flamethrower'em/Blast'em Delphox" -I think of thunder wave as been called only "paralyzer". -Any ground type move, on my head, is called earthquake. -Ice beam becomes "freeze" when my Froslass uses it. -Revenge, when used by my Toxicroak, becomes Vendetta/Strike back. Usually like "Well Toxicroak, let's strike back"/"Time for Vendetta, Toxkro". -Swords dance, when I actually use it, I call it "Summoned swords" because of that animation. Too much Devil may cry comes back to me with that single animation. -Sucker Punch becomes "Fool, you can't touch this" if it hits. And that's pretty much all. I never though about calling moves different names. Is an interesting concept.

Lol I'm the less british fella you'll ever gonna find and yet even I get the Spud one. Bob the builder~ Many tv memories ;-; I called my Cacturne Cactassin, and my baby cacnea, cacthroat. Just in case someone wanted to know. Also Ashes, it is true that you're pretty good at namerating stuff. Some of the nicknames you have proposed are actually going to become the new nicknames of some of my critters. To the name rater's house!!!!

1- Gardevoir (so much psychic, hypnosis, dream eating, shadowball, moonblast... best psychic type ever IMO <3) 2- Gourgeist (for some reason, the most useful ghost type I've ever owned in reborn; also the cutest ghost ever hands down no other possible opinion here move on <3) 3- Delphox's line (first starter ever in a pokémon game, cause reborn is the first pokémon game I ever played; love magicians, love fire, love foxes, what else I need? Delphox has been in my team with NO EXCEPTIONS, and I will carry her around even when the unavoidable water gym leader comes) 4- Gengar (so fast and so evil, can land sludge wave on fairies, brick break on darkies and shadow ball on everything else) 5- Scrafty (oh this thing, let me tell you something about this thing, this thing is amazing: never EVER has she hit herself on confusion, never EVER has her shed skin disappointed me and ((((almost)))) never has she failed a hi jump kick, kept going and crash. Also, the first scraggy I find in any pokemon game I've played is always female, and will always be caught and nicknamed SWAG Queen.) 6- Mawile (best steel-fairy to have ever existed. This thing has landed so many play roughs, has iron headed so many rock and fairy types, has flamethrowered so many grass types..... fairies are dragon killers, but mawile kills EVEYTHING!! 7- Braveheart Pyroar (Whoever nicknamed this thing, I guess it was Ame, it was the best possible nickname. Best ingame NPC trade I've ever made, and for a mere bibarel! Pyroar has fed on the souls of all PULSE tangrowths to date, has burn to ashes all maractuses and brelooms to extinction and has more or less destroyed every hope and dream from every gym leader except Serra and Luna) 8- Dragonite (first time I used this killing machine was in the wonderful hack ROM known as Glazed, called my baby Dratini Mystika and trained her to be a perfect surf-fly-dragon claw-ice beam assassin by the time she grew up to be a dragonite. Haven't used her on reborn for obvious reasons, but as soon as there are dratinis available, you know a dragonite is gonna be on my team. 9- Tyrantrum (never too found of using him on my party, he was just a box showoff kind of poké UNTIL Charlotte showed up and double fire resistance and rock slide and stuff <3) 10- Malamar (so, let me tell you a story... have you ever seen yourself in the situation that you're in a wasteland with toxic waste surrounding you, with all purple-ish ground and poisonous creatures around, and you find nothing more productive to do than headbutting toxic-looking trees? And what falls from those trees, you might ask? No more and no less than a squid. And you ask yourself, fellow trainer, why the hell are there squids on a tree on a dump? Then you trap it, you name it Ika Musume and you make it a comfy home on your pc and you forget about it cuz, I forgot to say, by that point of the game you still haven't heard of all the pokés of the 6th gen, you haven't figured out all the type weaknesses-effectiveness charts and you don't pretty much know what the ability contrary does. Then one day, you find a magical place called bulbapedia, and you type "inkay".... and then you type "contrary"..... and then you type "superpower".... and just a couple seconds after that, you find yourself grinding your Ika Musume and evolving her by the less intuitive method ever, pressing B. And you get the most evil-looking kraken-like beast known as Malamar. And that's the story of how you get a thing able to land 5 superpowers boosting its attack and defense stats, that can only die to a bug type move and looks as evil as your dark soul after having used its power) And that's it. Pretty much.

Hmm, what if, instead of any move, why not priority +1 only whenever mega-weavile uses dark or ice type moves? Like in, weavile uses crunch, priority; it uses ice beam, priority; it uses quick attack, still priority (but not from the ability though). It could be called, uh, "sneaky" or something like that, the name is not that important anyways. Also, from reading the thread again, there're a lot of things that I forgot deserve a mega: whimsicott, breloom, milotic, etc. It would be cool to see these guys getting one (even though, nothing's better than a real evo).

Sorry, my grandma sent me some when my uncle came to Spain for bussiness earlier this month. But guess what? I kinda.... ate it :/ But sure as hell those things are expensive when exported, specially when they're Conaprole XP

Uruguayan/Spanish (lucky me we have the same language in both countries XD) Also: Me encanta pokémon, un juego de putísima madre, la tortilla de patata y la paella son la hostia (Spain phrase, uruguayan phrase would be the same but with more sassiness and switching tortilla and paella for asado and alfajores) Fun Fact: Uruguay (and probably argentina but I ain't caring about the porteños) has the best sweet known to man, el dulce de leche. It is made out of milk and stuff and we have like a bazillion cows all around so is like the dream for people who love sweet stuff. And Spain's fun fact, is that the weather is crazy as fuck.

I already have my girl Audino getting a Madoka Magica mega, so really nothing else that I need to happen (at least from what comes to my mind right now) for the ORAS games. If I was in charge of who gets a mega and who does not, I would never give something like metagross, garchomp or mewtwo a mega. They just don't deserve it IMO. They are incredibly powerful already, have few weaknesses and good moves. And what you do then? You give'em 100 points in stats for free. No. Is not that I even care for competitive purposes because I suck at that but c'mon. Their designs are cool though, +1 for that. Anyways, even though I preffer legit evos over a mega form, I guess I would give one to kecleon. Still keeping color change/protean (and maybe give it multitype? No? alright back to my dark corner....), and it could be a, eh, hmmm, normal/dragon? We have none of those yet so I think it would be an interesting type combo. And maybe one for Flygon too. A lot of people wants it, and the poor thing is overshadowed by garchomp when it comes to ground-dragons. Maybe change levitate for speed boost or something, dunno. And just cuz I just want to hear the screams of agony, give a mega to blissey. Fairy type is not really necessary (but who knows anyways...). Boost her defense and maaaaybe her attack, reduce her speed and give her wonder guard and, hmm, I don't know what abilities could work for a mega blissey. Regenerator? Dunno. And, sigh, if dunsparce's evolution is never going to happen (why gamefreak, WHY!??!!), at least give the poor thing a mega. A normal/dragon, like mega kecleon, or maybe normal/bug, or bug/dragon, or normal/ground, or ground/flying, so many possibilities (that's exactly why this thing needs a legit evo, but oh well...).

The animal abuse part would definitely be the first thing that would make the existance of pokémon a conflictive thing. Damn, we don't even have pokés in real life and we already have PETA whining about the games promoting bad ideas to kids... Anyway, besides from that particular point, I think there are two things that would make pokés impossible to exist: the first is thermodinamics and general physics and stuff, and the second, the implications that some of them would have. The thermodinamics thing in the end comes to explaining how a real raticate could fire laser beams from it's mouth and such shenanigans. The implications thing would either come from the designs or the process that turns the poké into what it is. For example, how the hell would we have things like living candles, key rings, ice creams, liquified pieces of purple crap, trash bags, mimes, pokéballs and such other things alive and breathing. Or, would really be necessary for a phantump to exist that kids got lost in the forest and die? Things like that would keep me awake in the night if pokés were real. But anyhow, I guess people in the forums has seen realistic pokemon designs by the artist Arvalis at some point. For instance, in the imagination of this artist, a pokemon like vaniluxe is not a floating icecream, but a beetle that lives in frozen areas and disguises itself with snow. That's brilliant IMO. If all pokémon to date were "rewritten" in a biological standard like that and taking aside their superpowers and capability to induce status conditions and selfdestruct without dying (I'm looking at you electrode....), I guess pokés could exist in some way or another. Although, the cute ones would probably look a lot more horrifying/weird/uncanny in real life than most people think. And the badass ones would look even more badass.

For me it went like: -Hardest: Luna, Serra, Corey (on 2nd playthrough with poison field) -Easiest: Florinia (1st playthrough), Samson. The rest (Noel, Aya, Shade, Radomus, Shelly, Kiki, Cal, etc.) weren't all that hard for what I remember, but also not necesarily weak either. While Luna and Serra took me like 25-30 tries (and I'm serious about this, specially with Luna) and Florinia and Samson just one, the rest were about 4-6 tries before killing them. And Charlotte would have been in Luna's league if it wasnt because of these two words: Tyr Antrum.

You do that with RPGmaker, editing the saves. It's a shame reborn does not have a legit trading service, though.
