this is true, yet is also comes down to getting the aces out, which is why I didn;t mention quasar since compaired to shooting star, it's quite a hassle to get it out. that also reflects for Yuma, even if he has cards like RuM cards and that final Utopia form. also I'm assuming Yuma sticks to the rules and only uses 15 extra deck cards. with all that it just comes down get the big beater out first. and while XYZ's are quite easy to get out, synchro's have the edge there (I think?) due to not being limited to having to have so many of the same level for the summon

Well the extra deck doesn't get mentioned in zexal that much and anything related to it does not follow the rules of traditional yugioh. Even with a 15 extra deck he has the advnatage.

For summoning easy Yuma clearly has the advantage. In factutopia beyond is not that difficult to get out. You need rank-up magic: astral force and utopia. No need of synchro tuners and synchro monsters. Utopia is a generic rank 4. Now for getting out xyz is easier then synchro's especially for yuma since he has some good level modulation (gagaga magician can change its level from 1 to 8 for instance) and a bunch of level 4's which gives him acces to the rank 4 pool. 

true there. I would say that this is probably the fairest protag match up in the series, since XYZ's and synchro may not be equal, they can be good rivals to each other. and cuz the others don't have any of them or are Yuya and just spam pendies
