Jokes aside, I can get why her she was a good guy and they needed a good guy and let's be honest Dino dna is a bit too silly too (re-)introduce, Ojama is too silly for fusion dimension and vehicroids just plain out suck. Her biggest selling point is that she is known for her rituals which makes her a perfect fit for a resistance group.

For the Zane part. I would have loved if he, in his dark form, was the villain in the xyz dimension. His ruthless character makes a far better fit than Edo who had nothing in common with his old counterpart. In his quest to power he would have learned the xyz summoning method which could be a huge twist.

I agree with Mister Dino DNA... as for Ojamanjoume.... nice meme. We could still have had Sho tho (no pun intended). some new and good Roid Support, him bickering with Yugo about who's Roids are better, resulting in Sho saying Yugo's name wrong...
