  1. so I heard Goku got a new form again in Super... Firs I don;t understand how the formula still works, but I won't get to that. The worst part about that is that in nearly every screw attack comment section I will see people bitching that with this new form "Goku can kick superman's ass!" and all I think when I read that is "Okay, with goku's new limits, how can he beat someone with limitless power?" I think the only anime hero to actually stand a chance against Superman would be Saitama, and even saitama would lose.

Asking as someone who only watched Justice League (where the closest thing we got was the "World made of cardboard speech") and one or two animated movies, how is Superman interesting?  Ever since Death Battles became popular, I've seen lots of people toss around the 'limitless' thing (sometimes accompanied by no weaknesses in some future timelines).  I'm assuming the whole limitless thing comes from a specific comic or two, since it seems it would kill suspense/stakes if it was brought up too often; it would seem like most of suspense would come from finding a way to 'save the day' without killing anyone, which seems it would get boring after a bit

With OPM, Saitama powers are just played for laughs and the joke would get stale if it wasn't supported by a good side cast that you grew to care for.  Does Superman have that throughout the comic adaptations (*genuinely asking here*)?

I feel like Justice League was like that, only it showed many times of Superman getting outsmarted with Krytonite traps.  However, Justice League was a crossover for the most part (even if they exist in the same universe), so well done interaction is suspected.

*PS   Most of Goku's power-ups have been stupid since the new movies.  In their rush to separate themselves from GT, they lost something that makes what I've seen of Super not feel like Dragonball (only keeping the liberal giving of 'Toiyama Handjobs' to everyone but Tien).  Not related just wanted to say.*

I don't really know why superman would be interesting either myself, more of a Batman and Wolferine kinda guy personally. I guess sometimes seeing an all poerful person being perfect is fun?

Oh, sorry for the long post, then.  I just had to ask (and hoped maybe the few hardcore Superman fans on the site might know............if we have any).

Even if Goku loses in a fight, I still find him more interesting (though there are things that will probably make me rethink this when I remember them).

You have good taste in superheros from western comics.  I approve of both! :)
