Guess what I found. ANOTHER Multiplayer focused mission that becomes absolute BS for single player. In general it's not that bad. It's a regular Tower Defence mission. You get to place beacons and depending on the beacons you get bandit allies. The issues lies with the allies you get... Psycho's and Marauders are effective enough. But the thind one gives you Goliaths. again, not much wrong there. But when they take enough damage, they start attacking you and the thing you're supposed to defend... See my problem here? Because why wouldn't we make allies become enemies! it will make it more fun! This, again, is something BL1 never pulled. BL1 knew how to keep make things fair but challenging for single player. BL2 does not. At all.

The main one that I remember being BS in singleplayer was the arms delivery one in overlook, because it's one of those timed ones. maybe I was just bad at driving...
the defense ones can be pretty annoying, but at least you can strengthen yourself and come back to them with a better chance
that said, I'm sure there are sidequests I've never done before

each of the timed ones can be labeled as BS (already ranted about Arms Delivery one). The defense one can be done at a higher level. but at the time I did it said "trivial". and seeing as how the Goliaths can just one shot the thing you're defending when they turn into enemies... I think you see why I say BL1 is the better game when it comes to respecting the single player. It doesn't help that my favorite missions were the gun assembly ones and that those were completely removed
