It's a shame New Mystery never got localized; it fixed a lot of the flaws that Shadow Dragon had. I'd probably rank it as either Nr 3 or 4 of the FEs I've played.
Only major negative that game has to me is that the battle sprites and portraits aren't very pretty.
I quite like the way it looks tbh. while not amazing it does push the DS capabilities (or at least I assume it does). And the designs were never the flaw of Shadow Dragon
