  1. so, what I'm gonna say will probably completely net me out of the Zelda Fandom, but OoC is the worst 3d Zelda I've played thus far, and I doubt Wind Waker and BotW can take that title away from it. Now, don't get me wrong, OoC is a really good game. But comparing it to Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess and even Skyward Sword, it has a lot of things that it simply does worse. A few examples: Hyrule Field. going through it on Epona is cool, but as Child Link you don't have acces to Epona, do you? Nope. So you have to go from Kokiri forrest all the way to Hyrule Castle, then to Death Mountain, Then back to Kokiri Forrest, Back to Death Mountain, To Zora's Domain, and pick up Epona's song in between. And that takes WAY to f*cking long. Majora's Mask fixed this with the Owl Statues (which don't just teleport you to temples as Adult Link), Skyward Sword's flying in the Sky is a lot faster and Once you get Epona in Twilight Princess, you can pretty much always use her. Now for the second thing: Aiming. Some may consider this good game design, but not having an Aiming Reticule is terrible. not sure how MM handled it on the n64, but on the 3ds remake it adds a little reticule for Aiming. Same with Twilight Princess and, again, Skyward Sword. And last, and definitly least, the Water Temple. Haven't gotten to Great Bay Temple yet, but I'm almost 100% sure it's Water Dungeon can;t be that bad. the Lakebed Temple may be the only Dungeon I dislike in Twilight Princess, but it's still much better than how OoC handled it. And the Ancient Cistern, one of them is arguably the best Dungeon in the game, and the other is the worst of all 3d Zelda's.

Again, I don;t hate OoC, and if it's you favorite Zelda then I have no quarel with you. I'm just sharing my view on the game and, at the moment, it's greatest flaws (haven;t even mentioned Navii and the damn Owl yet)

I actually can't seem to find out how to get to the Lost Woods from Goron City, so the issue arises (not the games fault, but it did leave me having to make the track). I never played the N64 version to the boots thing wasn't an issue, but I can completely believe that would make the Water Temple worse. And my issue with the aiming is simply that it can feel a bit wonky to me. I'm extremely used to having at least a slight Aiming Reticule, and OoT doesn't have one of those. You gotta use the tip of your arrow to aim, I guess this is to make it a bit more Immersive, but there is a reason that all other 3D Zelda's decided to use one after a certain point (wasting Arrows because you're just a few MM off due to sloppy aiming isn't fun)

One of the tunnels in Goron City has the Lost Wood BGM playing it and a Goron who says they enjoy that standing in front of it. I don't remember if it's blocked with rocks or not, but if it is then you can clear them out by setting the bomb flowers off with a burning Deku Stick.

I wouldn't call the aiming an issue with the game since it works perfectly fine. It just requires getting a feel for it.

yeah, I never figured out how to blow up those bomb flowers so that's why (as I said, I'm stupid). And the aiming is what you prefer honestly, I simply dislike it because not knowing what path the arrow will follow until it lands is kinda un-fun for me (and why they didn't at least put the option for an Aiming reticule on the 3ds version is just... not understandable...)
