Yeah. tbh I just wanna see Linkle be the star in a Zelda game. Like, her entire story in Hyrule Warriors is about her trying to be the Hero of Legend yet just arriving a little late each time. If she were to really be the star she could, potentially, even fight a bit differently to Link. Instead of the Master Sword, she could wield a Rapier? instead of a regular bow, she would, obviously, have a Crossbow. Maybe she could be a bit more agile yet a little less in damage dealing/tanking? idk. I just wanna see the Lady Hero of Legend have the spotlight she deserves.

Eiji Aonuma stated that due to her popularity, he is going to keep in mind the possibility of including her in a future Zelda game.

If that does wind up becoming a reality in the main games, I kinda wonder if they'd go about keeping her differentiated from Link in terms of what items they can use. Like, the Rods and Hero's Bow make sense as shared items, but I can't really see Linkle using the Ball and Chain, given that she's even weedier looking thank Link is (and even TP Link had some trouble wielding it). Then again, the series is kinda in a bit of a nebulous state at the moment in general, seeing as Calamaty Ganon seems to have broken his part of the cycle for one of the timelines...

In any case, i feel like unless the Smash team decides to use her to tease the next Zelda game, we won't be seeing Linkile crop up until she makes a canon appearance- she isn't the only viable candidate for a new Zelda rep, after all. She was officially added to Warriors after the Smash Ballot, after all, so I doubt she got a whole lot of votes there despite having already been popular among the Warriors crowd...

True, and even if she doesn't reach smash levels, just having the Heroine of legend star in a game would be dope. Or, you know, add Linkle DLC to BotW, make it so Link is actually Linkle there, granted that would require those cutscenes to be redone.... scrap that idea. And yeah, even though TP Link is physically the strongest Link (and maybe even the strongest in general, not counting the Fierce Deity Mask that is) so the Ball And Chain would not really be an item for her. Even story-wise Linkle could be great,  she could be a Cuccoo farmer whose father was good friends with the King, leading her to be friends with Zelda and giving her quest more personal meaning (Like Skyward Sword did. And I know this could also work for Link, but Linkle...)
