If people hate watch it and then get angry in the comments, that's still engagement according to YT algorithms, so the incendiary rants spread far wider than the reactions or reasonable criticism. Basically the only rwby vids I've been recommended have been EruptionFang's trash, everything positive I had to find myself.

Honestly I would just avoid it for the time being. The Vic stuff keeps getting uglier and uglier and people have gotten really aggressive from both sides. Like I'm legit worried some kickVic side people might go to AnimeMitsuru to attack Vic fans. I really hope it doesnt go that far. If you aren't in it to laugh at how stupid people are being I'd just avoid it because it ain't gonna get better anytime soon.

And Leo put it best. I do want to say you can find the good in a sea of bad so long as you simply accept the Vic issue isn't gonna go away. I can't really blame people for being pissed and not believing Vic is a sexual predator based on weak or not credible accusations with one side being hellbent on labeling him that way so much they would attack people who do not side with them in the most pathetic ways. It's a never ending cycle of pissed people since one side causes the other to react more.

I don't know what doombot has been doing but most of the rwby stuff I found was overall positive with most people's issues being the last couple episodes. There's one video even talking about the Adam fight and how good of a story teller Monty is through his fight animations.

Oh I know how bad the RT community can be, and that just makes me sadder on this. Almost makes me ashamed if being a fan of them
