    Here is my opinion on each of the bendable Elements in the Avatar universe:

     

    Water: Most utility, but most restrictive. Without taking Water everywhere you have a chance of not having anything to bend at all.

     

    Earth: Second Most Restrictive, probably second least ulility. Earth is a useful element for many things, but not for as many things as others.

     

    Fire: Least Restrictive, second most ulility. You can just create it out of thin air, making it the least restrictive. It also has more ulility uses than Air and Earth. Granted it's also the most dangerous one.

     

    Air: Second Least Restrictive, Least Ulility. You can fly and purify air, but that's about the Utility you'll get from air. It can help in situations but for general use Air is probably the weakest element.

      wouldn't precise enough airbending basically be telekinesis though, which would be pretty high utility. also not sure how fire being able to be created out of thin air makes it less restrictive than, well, air...

      I think all elements are not restrictive but some requires more "power, skill, stamina" to be controlled. You can bend water from drawing moisture from air but it's requires more skill, stamina to do that. You can bend earth by manipulate dust in the air but no one in the avatar world can do that.

      Fire and Air are really just equally restrictive, but I put fire a bit higher on there because fire has a bit more utility. and while technically it can act as telekinesis if you're good enough, it requires a shit ton of practice and precision to be able to do it.

       

      Yes, if you train all your life to master that you can, but I'm looking at it in a general perspective of things most benders can do in general. Hence why Water is the most restrictive, with Earth Second and Fire and Air pretty much equal to least restrictive. I didn't count Blood/Plant bending for Water either. Or Lightning for Fire. Or Magma/Metal for Earth. Simply because if I did it would be too hard to calculate. And even then Water has the most utility.

    I've changed a few times as a person. sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst. most of the changes were small, but sometimes you find yourself changing in quite a big way. My point is that sometimes it can be a bit hard to "enforce" it on yourself. I don't know much about psychology, but one thing I know from experience is that a simple change in appearance can help a lot. When I decided to let go of my past I grew my hair, for example. It's only a minor help, but it can help you remember how far you've come and what you're doing it for. Another example is that the last time I lost control of my anger I changed the finger I wear my ring on. From my right ring finger to my left middle one. A minor change that has helped me remember to not give into anger if I can help it. Again, this is only a minor help at best, but it's helped me remember what I do it for and how far I've come. Maybe it can help you too (if you need it that is).

  16. Wolfox

    Ep 27 is easily my favorite episode of The Last Airbender. While not as action heavy, it does so much character development for Zuko that you almost don't believe it's a single episode. I used to hate it as a kid because little happened, but now that I'm older I really like episodes like this of done well

    I understand what you mean. It just gets repetitive. why do you think I don't play Ou? Or Mono anymore? Some mons I simply can't stand seeing or using. Toxapex is a prime example. I hate stall and that mon is one of the stalliest in the game. I've played a few poison mono's (Hyper Offensive) but I never used Toxapex. People kept saying I didn't play poison without it but you know, I will not use that mon if I can help it. And if nothing else not everyone is suggesting Metagross and other pseudo's.

    I never said I disagreed with his points, and I completely see your point. Yet I also see that there is a good reason why Garde and Zone are used by so many people. They have amazing Synergy together and cat fit in most, if not all teams. Diversity and creativity should always be important, don't get me wrong. But when someone asks for suggestions I will answer with something I know works as it's been proven to work. There is no wrong way of going through reborn, nor is there a right way. But there are certain things that just fit no matter what team and work well each time. It just happens to be Gardevoir and Magnezone. had it been Bronzong and Pelliper, for example, I advise on using those even if I personally hate those mons.

    So... can someone explain to me why people consider the Legend of Korra horrible? I mean, I know it's not as good as Tha Last Airbender, but how many cartoon, if not shows in general, can say that they are? And yes, season two was not exactly great in a couple of ways, outside of that the show wasstill extremely good if you ask me. And

    Korra is (I believe) the first Bi-Sexual Nickelodeon character. Which may not mean much for the series, but means a bit for the animation industry itself if you ask me

      Having not seen it, the idea that the spoilered bit is somehow relevant to whether or not the show was good is ridiculous. Sure it might be some kind of milestone, but milestones are irrelevant to quality.

       

      I've not heard horrible, usually just bad. Most complaints I've heard are that Korra comes by her power too easily (usually followed by a counterargument that the most of the first series was learning to be the avatar and it would have been boring for her to rehash it).

      Understandable. But I think they forget that we meet Korra at an Age where she has been trained to be the Avatar for years already, having figured it out extremely early in her life. Thus most thing Aang had to learn she already did.

      I've watched the Dutch dub years back so many times, like every time it aired I was glued to the screen. So I think it's safe to say I cannot be spoiled about anything.
