    So, I love Borderlands 2 so far. Great game. There is, however, one area that us just badly designed. Tundra Express. Amazing area over all, but one downside makes it terrible: respawn stations. maybe I didn;t explore enough, but I found a total of 3 of them. In what is a pretty damn big area.

     

    Also, I feel like Gaige would just claim Tiny Tina as her little sister. The two seem pretty alike

      Borderlands 2 is a really good game. I only found the weapons scaling a bit wonky. Iirc you have to renew your arsenal really often (and pray you find good stuff) otherwise your guns will do fudge all damage against tougher enemies. This was a problem for me who liked to use weapons for their "feel" rather than raw damage output...

      That and in the original version of the game (dunno if it's been fixed) the final boss could be cheesed in a completely ludicrous and boring way, but I'll let you discover that by yourself.

      that reminds me of a returning complaint from BL1! Some missions being too focused on co-op. Not a bad thing in general, but when you have to protect that fucking beacon while loaders keep spawning faster than you can kill them regardless of your weaponry...

      And I really like using Assault Riffles with Gaige now. They are decent;y accurate even with a couple of stacks. at least the one I'm using. Marcus can't get a better one yet

    [Insert obvious Magnezone and Gardevoir comment here] Jokes aside, while you can't really get ralts without trading with someone (like Zarc) that early anymore, the core of Magnezone and Gardevoir blows through many things in reborn (Ralts got relocated multiple times and I like to think it's because of that core)

    When I run Togekiss I generally use it as a Last Resort, in case shit has hit the fan and things have gone very wrong.

    how did I spend the last 15 minutes you ask? I listened to the 3 AoT intro's. You can say what you want about the manga or anime, the OsT is one of the best

      I've downloaded and listened to a fair amount of the S1 soundtrack, and the original intro is so good. the main theme and Dead on Arrival are two of my other favourites

Yes, it can do more things than just Iron Head spam. but how often does it resort to that move? At least as much as Togekiss and Air Slash. And Air Slash can miss. Add to that that Jirachi is faster and has a bulkier typing and... Seriously how can people hate one mon that does something but love another mon for doing mostly the same thing?

    So, this might be a terrible idea. But can you mod Borderlands/Borderlands 2? And if so, does anyone know a modder who could change the playable characters into Freelancers from RvB? Playing as Agent Washingtub would be a dream come true

      I've looked around before, but there seems to be very little, which I assume means it's difficult to mod. There's a thing called the community patch which does some nice things like rebalances loot pools a bit to be more interesting, buffs some weak skills and unique/legendary items and adds a couple QoL changes like auto-pickup Eridium, which is nice. Would recommend.

      I think I maybe also remember seeing some kind of texture mod but it didn't look like anything good had been made for it.

      Ye l doubt you'll find much l'm afraid as far as l'm aware Gearbox are one of those companies that are super against modding so they don't make it easy to really get in there and pry around. THe main thing will probs be QoL mods like above cause those mods like almost always get made XD

      Pretty much every game has them somewhere, cause gamers are always gonna want stuff to run as smooth as possible so they'll move mountains to get it done.

    So... Gaige is 16? She's barely old enough to learn to drive in the Netherlands, but she's kcking ass and building Deathtrap like it's no big deal... Is 16 even old enough to be a Vault Hunter?

    It's no secret that life has been a bit shitty for me. Failing to find an education I wanted to follow and even failing to find one later with help specifically with that. Note that most friends of mine at my age already have either a job, an education or both. I've been sitting at home with about 0 things to focus on for around a year (for some, 2016 was a better year than 2017. Believe it or not). Today, however, things changed. Thanks to some things I've been allowed to work 2 afternoons a week at a company focused on renting out party equipment (tents specifically). For the first time in over a year, I actually have something again. It will last 3 months and the days are Tuesday and Wednesday (This is actually how it's spelled? and I thought the Dutch had weirdly written words) from 13:30 (1:30 PM) till 17:00 (5 PM). Not exactly times to be bragging about but considering my situation I'm not allowed to complain. Just thought I'd share this for those interested.

    nah, gen 3 did. Cosplaying Airalin knows how much you like this mon Perhaps, yet it doesn't excuse it in the slightest. Even if you're only making something without expecting it to blow up like Pokémon did, you always have to give it your all. Not saying they didn't in gen 1, but saying gen one is "excused", of only slightly, for the bad designs because it was the first and they didn't know it would get this big is plain wrong. you can't expect the beginning to be perfect but excusing it of its flaws because it's the first is probably as bad

    you know what, forget about 7:30 PM. I think I can be lucky if I get to play any Borderlands anymore today. I'm happy I didn't throw away money when I bout the roller coaster tycoon tripple deluxe pack for my mom and sister, but it's a bit anoying that Steam disalows me to play a game on my laptop while one of them is downstairs playing RCT...

      eh, I guess I'll just wait and play until midnight or something. it's 10 pm right now, She's been at it since 5 PM at it's latest. I have stuff to do tomorrow in the afternoon (Might make something to talk about my life getting into gear again) but she has school tomorrow... I know unwinding from a busy day is important, but for at least 5 hours straight (not even stopping for dinner but playing while eating dinner. She's more of a hardcore gamer than most "hardcore" cod players

    it has a number of bad gen 5 mons, but it does have the most number of introduced mons in general. So it's only natural. Granted genwunners tend just ignore the good ones and only focus on the worse ones. Example's being garbodor, the monkey's and Chandelure (because a haunted chandelier is bad? since when?)

    they are ignorant silly people who ignore all generations of Pokémon but the first one. Dubbing them all to be inferior. Usually, Gen 5 is their prime target. My favorite one they pick on is Garbodor. Garbodor is not a well designed Pokémon but comparing it to Muk makes Garbodor an amazing designed mon.
