  1. The tapu's really aren't that bad. Koko can't use its full stat potential, bulu is slow and raises the white flag for poison types, fini is rarely even used on fairy and lele is already banned. Clef I'll give you, but there are many mons that "do what it does" better
  2. well, seeing as Azu will be at 75% HP max Sxiz beat it. Believe me, I've been there more times than Chansey has stalled me out. And yes, fairy can check the checks, but it's no reliable. I've done the MU more times than I can count and trust me, even if fairy takes care of some of the checks it loses more than it wins.
  3. No, I mean spun in the way it's used in Yugioh. The term spinning in that TCG/ocg means returning a card to the deck. Golisopod returns to the trainer at 50% hp, thus in my mind, it spins back
  4. The mons I mentioned are the most common fairies, and they are for a good reason. Granbull may be pretty good for taking down scizor, that's where its use for the type stops. And Mawile isn't much better, not even hitting anywhere near as hard as granbull. And Mimikyu... well it doesn't help the type with dealing with too many common threats like Scizor or Mega Scizor (it's a free set up, but if a +6 azu can't blow it out of the water, why would a +2 Mimikyu be able to?). Yes, clef can set up on the p2. but who in their right mind stays in on the clef with p2 in the first place? And the only fairy that hit Chansey hard enough to scare it with psyshock is the banned Tapu lele (Banned for a good reason. Granted for Fairy is was more a buffed Gardevoir and for psychic, it was the thing that broke everything). For bulu, there is bulky raptor (no, saying stone edge does not nullify this. because most likely your Bulu will want to be choiced) and Azu is predictable as it needs to knock it first before doing anything scary to it (I explained most of this before, seems like it has fallen on deaf ears). I don't pull this out of my ass you know, between Chansey and p2 fairy can barely do anything. and the mons that can deal with those are either a: predictable or b: walled by something else (see Bulu and Bulky Raptor).
  5. Here's two random facts about me:

    1) Just today I found out how "Alt-Tabbing" works... I'm slow okay!

    2) The rose is my favorite flower. Multiple reasons for this really, It's pretty, it symbolizes that every pretty thing can have drawbacks

For me, the worst cry has to be Liepart (granted I dislike that mon a lot). It's literally just a meow... "But it's a cat, and cat's meow.". It's a leopard, and I've never heard a leopard meowing over growling or roaring

  6. Golisopod is a funny mon to work with. It's a bulky revenge killer/sweeper but once it hit's 50% HP it spins (sorry for the YGO terminology). This can be a disadvantage, but when you know how to use it it's a good weapon. The biggest reason it works well is its Signature move: First Impression. a base 90 (I think?) bug type move that works like Fake Out but without the flinch. I don't think I need to explain how it synergizes with the ability. For the rest stacking up priority or hard-hitting moves tends to work (not much need for setting up, because you can get spun any time)
  7. Speaking of Steel, that's one of the big reasons fairy runs Clef in mono. Clef generally is the best of all unreliable ways to "check" scizor with fairy. and even then it's unreliable because it's pretty obvious what it's gonna do, Fire blast or flamethrower. So Heatran pretty much blocks clef. "But Wolfox, fairy has more options to deal with steel types." You re correct, but those options are even less reliable. Gardevoir has focus miss, but it's pretty slow and frail so Exca and Scizor sends it home before it can do too much. Azu is a steel "resist", but can only really hit 2 steel mons and get's beaten by scizor. Mega Diancie, let me stop you right there before I even say what it can do. It has a 4x weakness to steel so scizor completely beats it, Heatran can live an Earth Power and kill, Exca kills (if scarf), scarm lives and can kill... Do I need to go on here? Koko, exca renders it useless. Bulu, too slow to sweep steel, no stab moves to hit steel with. Klefki? What you gonna do? Screen the steel types to death? While in combination with Bulu klefki can be an Exca slayer, it's not recommended to do this ever. Togekiss is the second best thing fairy has, but even then it's not a good option as almost everything either outspeeds and OHKO's or, you know, can completely wall it out. So what did we learn here? What is one of the biggest reasons Clefable is common on fairy? Exactly, being an unreliable Scizor slayer that someone just picking up steel can predict the moves of.
  8. I have beaten all duels in the 5d's story! Regular and Reverse. Gotta thank my ingame Yang Zing deck for some of the duels

  9. me: completely dominates in a Legacy of the Duelist referce duel (Lester Vs Jack). I make the final attack: game crashes.

  10. "Clefable so you can't complain about porygon". NO, you really can't complain about that base 90 def duck holding an eviolite and recover, because you have a mon that can only take damage from attacks. You know the big difference between porygon and clef? For clef to actually get super bulky, and even then a crit deals with it (not saying relying on crits is a good thing, but crits don't go past eviolite now do they?). you gotta spend a turn setting up. I don't see the fucking duck needing to do that. point disproven (remember when Magearna was legal? yeah, even that thing could not make normal a fun MU for fairy. So saying that clef negates porygon2 is about as accurate as saying that Yanmega negates Blaziken.)
  11. hey, we're talking about being the one GETTING STALLED here. being on the wrong end of the egg instead of hiding behind it.
  12. @Zargerth Simple, I dislike the type. between how mono normal is just a stallfest between Chansey and porygon2 which every type that doesn't have good fighting stab just loses to a lot and just have a lot of mons that I just dislike. you try fighting a meta normal mono with a meta fairy mono and tell me that it was fun waiting for Chansey to stall you out

  15. I think I just lost the last bit of respect for my sister. She left her phone in the bathroom (for what ever reason it made sense to her). I had to go to the bathroom and after I would go to my room. And if you're going upstairs and gotta use the washroom you ight as well use the upstairs one, it saves some time overall. So I'm in there, she comes up to get her phone, she get's it and goes back downstairs hitting the wall and saying "Fucking gay. I can't wait till he's going on his own.". The worst part is that instead of saying it to my face I heared it through the wall. I'm honestly surprised that I didn't lose it. Had I been a few years younger it would most likely have resulted in me screaming back.

  16. Some RvB fans: season 14 is not worth it. just skip to season 15.

    me:

    This instantly makes it worth

  17. I got none. They never work out (when i say I wanna get more social I get less social and stuff like that). So no resolutions from me
  18. today's lunch consists of a Chilli Con Tex-Mex spiced egg sandwitch. Made by Agent Wash

  19. ready to get your mind blown? 4kmedia (aka 4kids) dubbed the new Yugioh movie. they changed only one thing, and that is that it's a sequal to the anime instead of the manga (or at least it's suposed to be for them). no censorship. I think I may have just blown some minds (there's even an actual gun)

Me about the scene: worst case scenario is bleeding out, but maybe Jaune's semblance is a healer. Maybe it damaged a lung, but it missed the heart.

I'm 100% certain it is. As Ren said it can happen under high stress. and what's more stressful than seeing the girl you have a crush on almost dying at the hands of the person who also killed the girl you loved? Granted if Weiss does die Cinder will also have an Angry Girlfriend hunting her down.

It's been quite some time since I've been that surprised in a RWBY episode. Weiss was totally getting wrecked but I didn't expect to see something like that happening to her.

By the location of where she got 'hurt', she might not die. Don't lose hope that Weiss dies! Not gonna happen!

  23. Ash gren was a mistake. let's just thank our lucky stars the mono council got smart from gen 6 to gen 7 (and less biased toward a single type) and banned it pretty early on
  24. yet fairy doesn't have ash-gren, and you attacked that like there was no tomorrow.
