Also, a little fun fact for you: the Level Cap in the main series games are only for traded Pokemon, not the ones you caught or hatched from an egg.

what PESH11 said is true, yet there are people who can go into the room and evolve it for you. also you're making a good choice wanting to use Magnezone, it's one of the Champions of the forum

There's only one real way to get around the level cap. or two ways, technically (that I know of): strategy and team balance. balance your team in levels and typing and plan for the major battles you can encounter, that way the level cap usually is not an issue at all. Also, you can;t just power through with your favorites(unless they're Gardevoir and Magnezone, those two can pretty much do a lot of the game by themselves) as Ame doesn't want reborn to be easy to just waltz through (for obvious reasons) and the level cap stops a person from going "Oh, this gym leader beat me, instead of planning and strategizing I'll just level the Christ out of my mons till I can win!". I can understand that it's hard to get used to, but soon it'll be second nature to check your trainer card to see what the max level is now, trust me. I mean, if a pretty stupid man like myself can do it, what's stopping you?

So, I think I lost my first XCOM save. me entire squad got destroyed by a Sectopod... The thing was smart tho, firt killing my Medic with a rocket, then leading me all the way across the map, just to finish me off completely. doesn't help that my squad was so rage filled and willing to take refenge that they forgot how to aim... (Sniper missing a 90% shot with 100 % 5 crit... and people say luck isnlt against me)
I guess I now know why XCOM can be called a franchise that makes you hate yourself for playing it

I've actually made a thread about this in the past when Alolan forms were just introduced, and Ame wants to stay as close to the canon with the Pokemon in the game as possible. -
