      Probably the RSE "You can catch Deoxes on the Moon when the rocket's countdown equals zero" myth.  I didn't have internet (or more than 1 friend who played Pokemeon) during the time of the Pokegods and other Gen 1 hoaxes.

      I get what you mean. I read somewhere that Araki likes his villians with time powers cause they make them feel more imposing and unstoppable. Personally, I think that's how he gets away with writing his villians with more cocky personalities. None of them really use their abilities to the fullest effect which allows to Heroes to get the upper hand most of the time.
