I didn't know it still got updates, cool

    AM2R

This is a bit of a controversial thread (maybe?), but hey I've made statements claiming Blue is the worst rival (which I stand by) so who better to talk about this than me? Many people. But that's why I create a thread. I can hear some of you thinking, "What's an AM2R?". Well, AM2R is Another Metroid 2 Remake. a PC fangame remake of Metroid 2, to be specific. I won't go into too much detail, as YouTube is full of better descriptions. What I will say, however, is that if you have a Controller (or the needed skills on a Keyboard) and you like Adventure platformers, play this game. While yes Nintendo took it down, you can still find it online. While it's not the game that got me into Metroid (thank the official Nintendo remake for that) it's easily one of the best Fan Games I've ever played. Let's even keep this thread open to discuss our experiences with the game (if anyone ever reads this and wishes to play the game) one note tho, it's not as hard as Fusion, but it's nowhere near easy. and you're gonna have to use the ol' noggin a few times if you wanna get everything
  3. Silly people logic: Let's boycot Nintendo and Samus Returns for what they did to AM2R!

My Logic: by doing that you will probably decrease the chance of future Metroid games, like a Super Metoid remake or something, and simething tells me you don't want that either

  4. I used scumming as I didn't know a better word. as, as I mentioned, you're not supposed to win that battle without tricks like that. And those tricks are kinda scummy. It's a forced Loss, and those are usually not won by any normal means
  5. You CAN win it, but you're not MEANT to. a big difference here. You can scum your way to victory in that battle, but without doing so you prolly won't win, you're technically, not meant to do so, and 3, in a locke format that scumming is even harder
  6. eyy, got Xcom2 with 4/6 dlc for 21 euro's/

Sadly, War of the Chosen wasn't in the deal, but that's not the biggest issue

  7. Aya is prolly gonna send one or two people into the Healing Unit once or twice (Twit and maybe Jay)

Edited once more. Now Wolfox doesn't look like himself. But he does look like Soma Cruz, one of my favorite protags from gaming

not 100% sure how to feel about this card. It's kinda dope with the Old Archfiend "high attack, low level/rank/link", the lifepoint cost, and, the foolish effect. but on the other hand, the second effect, while potentially really f*cking food, is too unreliable, not unlike old Archfiends themselves...

  11. still better than not learning fields at all I'd say. heck, he even used the seed
  12. I actually am a bit confused. first people want them to learn the field effects and use them. now Nappy actually does so and now he has to mlose the mon that allows him to do so...
  13. they handled Shelly well (Nexus got a little lucky, but did well). And yeah, Nexus kinda opened up a can of worms that he shouldn't have (granted what else is new?)

    Will's gone mad

  15. gonna assume you pulled off at least 1, or more, synchro summons. how do you like the mechanic thus far?

At least DL should introduce them systematically, so they will be easier to digest than doing the diving headfirst strat I am trying now.   In other news, this one doesn't even have Lady Brilliant Diamond in it, so DL beat them to that.

    3. Wolfox

      Wolfox

yeah, iirc lady diamond is newer than 2015

Definitely a bit less synergy without her.  At least I've got more HEROs to play around with (though no backrow nuking Witchraider).  I guess at least I can enjoy the uncensored OCG artwork in some cases or can try to meme out Horakhty.

Archfiend is really old. Usually being portrayed by some effects ahead of their time (complete negation to anything that targets it for example) while having an unreliable luck to them and a life point cost. it's kinda fun to see newer ones actually being good (Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend, for example, is still an Archfiend, and extremely strong

  18. started playing New Vegas, really good so far

  19. Airalyn dubbed my a master

  20. I believe the issue with red is less him beating blue and more him being a Player Character. because if Red Counts, then why not all the other protagonists? they beat their champions, right? Plus, red is NEVER stated to be the champion in the games itself, so why would he count here?
  21. Cynthia. Need I even explain why? the first champ to have such a balanced team (Yes, I know Blue had a balanced team, but as Balanced as Cynthia?), THAT GARCHOMP nd, you know, having few real holes in her team
  22. Why did I only now find out that Grandmaster and Legendary Six Sam Kizan are the same guy by Six Sam Lore?

    1. krim

      krim

All of the Legendary Six Samurai are young versions of some of the first ones, and they all have minor backstories to how they got that way. It's really cool.

      Kizan - Grandmaster (Promotion)
Kageki - Chamberlain (Lost his arms)

      Shinai - Spirit  (Died)

Mizuho - Hand (Became a spy after her husband's death)

Enishi - Enishi Shein's Chancellor (Still active)

      Shien's Advisor - Elder (Retired)

Kagemusha also bears a striking resemblance to an extremely old card, Kagemusha of the Blue Flame, and they're speculated to be the same person (and also Shadow of the Six Samurai Shi En after the first Shi En's death).

      Wolfox

I know that and that the Six Samurai have enough lore to build an Anime around them. but I just never put 2 and 2 together that Kizan and Grandmaster were the same.

Somehow I did know that Kagemusha of the Blue Flame is the same as Kagemusha of the Six Sams, as that's a bit of a retrain. and that Shadow of the Six is, iirc, said Kagemusha to make sure the Great Shogun Shien isn't assassinated
