    you know what's really funny to me? the people saying that only the "classic series" (so Duel Monsters and GX) should be in Duel Links and 5d's should get it's own game. The issue is tho, that it's around 10 years since 5d's started airing (let that sink in btw). So whould it now be considered one of the classics by it's age alone or?

      It's been 10 years since 5D's....wow. I never watched it but I remember that was my jumping off point. For some reason I could rationalize ancient Egyptian magic and spirit monsters easier than motorcycles, haha. Makes me feel old regardless! I remember watching Duel Monsters' very first episode when it aired its original run on Cartoon Network back in the day. Then of course that led into getting big into the actual TCG. Stayed with it for quite a few years all the way through GX. Still have my deck packed away somewhere. Never wanted to part with it I guess haha.

      I would suggest giving 5d's a second chance. it's highly regarded as the best YGO anime to this day (something I greatly agree with)

      Wow! If that's the case I may check it out again! The only bad thing is I know myself and if I start watching it, I'll be hearing the siren call of the TCG and Video games again! haha. I could always redownload Legacy of the Duelist I suppose haha.

    Am I a bad person for enjoying seeing the FE Fandom have their own Nohr vs Hoshido battles? I mean, in the sense of Old vs New. Like, I'm not that huge of a fan, even though I love what I've played. I enjoy Casual mode because, while it is easier, it allows for the fandom to grow because more people will be able to get into it. Let's just praise what I assume is the majority of the FE fandom that just let's things slide and, even if they're not really fans of what's old/new, they accept it.

     

    I say it quite a bit, and I will again. Just because YOU don't like something doesn't mean it's a bad addition. there are things in games I'm not a huge fan of (like Festival Plaza in gen 7) but I can, at least, understand the idea behind it and see the appeal

      I only just realized it was airing yesterday, so I need to rewatch S2 first to refresh. I have read the manga though so I have great knowledge. 

       to clarify a bit:

    So, I learned something. I heard a rumor that around September 5D's will reach Duel Links. Today, I decided to look up a release date, but instead I found 8 characters that will, most likely, be the playable ones. We got:

    Yusei (Obviously)

    Jack (Obviously)

    Aki (Obviously)

    Rua

    Ruka

    Crow

    Kiryu (Yeah. arguably the best Antagonist of 5d's, and maybe all of YGO is gonna be in Duel Link. with INFERNITIES. The Meta Prepare itself)

    I thought I'd look down into some comments to see if I could learn anything else, and the first thing I saw is "Only use classic characters, not these new bad ones"... Yeah, I'm gonna assume this came from one of those people who decided that Synchro's killed the game and never even watched anything beyond GX (Shame IMO, they missed out on two of the best ones, maybe 3 of the best ones when VRAINS ends).

     

    Needless to say, I'm hyped. Jack being my main target here (Surprise Surprise right?)

    One issue I had with the gen 6 starters as a whole was Battle Bond. Why give it only to Greninja? just name it "Bond-Greninja" and give Chessnaught and Delphox a "Bond-" form too

    Typhlosion's base stats are exactly the same as Regular Charizard, so not bad but nothing to really write home about

    that's pretty funny actually because the Delphox I used in my first playthrough always put in all the work it needed to, and more. needed something dead? Mister Y (explained the pun name already) was there. and don't get me wrong, I really like Emboar (heck the only fire starter I don't like is Typhlosion) but as someone who prefers fast and heavy attackers Delphox just fits better for me (also, that Delphox had, like, 1 IV in special attack and it worked.
