Had some hope, busted (what a surprise right? Me having hope and it blowing up in my face). Didnt listen to people warning me. Can;t even cry to let all the negative emotions out. And how's your day going?

I mean, it's a Warrior UR. That's kinda close to Grandmaster? guess I could make a Noble Knights deck now

Great Shogun Shien:
SpoilerShogun Shien, while a bit dated, is honestly a pretty good Six Sam boss monster for what it is. Good body, easy to get out if it's in the hand, usefull effect. While quite a subject to Powercreep, I would say it's still a 1 or 2 off in Side Decks or even the main deck. The big thing hurting it would be it;s name now having Six Samurai in the name, but we can look past that.
Enishi, Shien's Chancellor
SpoilerBlack Luster Samurai, envoy of the Six. All jokes aside, This guy is basically an Archetypal Chaos Sorcerer. and for what it is it was pretty good. Six Sams tend to be in the grave a bit due to their swarming and revivy nature, so it's usually not too hard to get out, though what you get for it is a bit Lackluster instead of Black Luster. Again, hurt by not having Six Samurai in its name, and this time it's a much bigger deal because it doesn't allow you to get Shien out with it easily. I'd say it's outdated and best avoided in any new build. though it might be decent in Duel Links at 1 as a reversal card?
Grandmaster of the Six Samurai
SpoilerNow we're getting into the real Meat. While Shogun Shien is pretty easy to get out and Shien's Chancellor is decent at best, Grandmaster was arguably one of their best playmakers back in the GX era. Extremely easy to summon (only needing 1 Six Sam on the field) and a 2100 body made this guy a force to be reconned with. While it's floating recovery effect was neat, that was not why this guy was used. Today it's probably outclassed by Kizan, but it's still an easy swarm card even if it's a bit dated. I'd say a 2 to 3 off, maybe wait for the Six Sam link I can feel coming up to really determine that though.
Legendary Six Samurai Shi En
SpoilerBoy, where to start with this one. Perhaps with the fact that this is, so far, the only Six Sam monster to have been Limited. Secondly, It's probably the best Boss Monster they have to date. While a little dated by effect, it's still a powerhouse that is not to be underestimated. Extremely easy to get out for the Sams, amazing body for a Level 5 Synchro, a little mini lock with Shogun Shien. Shi En simply has it all going for it. This is also the monster that made me love Six Sams, so there may be a bit of bias here (and synchro bias)
Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien
SpoilerAgain, I don't know how to start with this one. Granted this time it's on a more negative note. XYZ's are arguably the strongest Extra Deck summoning method, but I'd probably say this one is on Shien's Chancellor's level, maybe even worse. While it's effect being a quick effect is nice, that the one thing that's nice about it. most Six Sam monsters you use will already have around 1700 to 1900 attack, so the boost will be minimal. The majority of the time you'll probably summon this guy with two Kizan's, who by themselves do more than this guy does and generally it's just outclassed by a big majority of generic and warrior locked XYZ's. run at 1 if you think you're being funny and see use with this guy.
1Secret Six Samurai - Rihan
SpoilerAfter the hiatus Six Sams got that came from Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien (guess they didn't know how to fix it with that) they brought a new sub-archetype: Secret Six Samurai. which includes a new Boss Monster. Honestly, Rizan is pretty basic at what he does. he can banish like Hand of the Six Samurai can destroy, but you can also use Six Sam cards in your hand (like, for example, Return) as a cost. Behind that, he has the basic Secret Six Sams effect while in the graveyard. For what it is, I'd say it's amazing. While nothing new in general, it's good at what it does (which is being a better Hand). Would probably say it's the second best Six Sam boss monster to date.

I'm gonna rank all Six Sam boss monsters soon on how good I personally believe they are. Spoiler alert: I will use the word "dated" a lot

I don;t wanna start a generation war with this, but can we at least agree that the Nintendo DS was the golden age of Pokémon games? not saying what came before or after the DS era is bad at all btw

I'm not sure depends on the criteria I guesd. Gen 4-5 were the gens I hooked off pkmn eventualy comming back late gen 6.
However do not underestimate the sheer dominance pokemon had during gen 1. A succesfull tcg, anime and video game in one franchise, rumors about pkmn were spread on the schoolyard. Hell my bank even gave pkmn booster packs as a rewards for saving a certain amount of money. Pkmn simply dominated.
