    Delphox. My first starter in Reborn and I have gained a ton of respect for it. back when the rivals used monotype teams it was strong against all 3 of them. it's typing is pretty strong for both offense and defense, it's pretty damn fast with good special attack and Mystical Fire is a nice substitute until you get Flamethrower

      you'd be surprised. I can be like FE Fates' Arthur at times. RNG will usually find a way to tell me to F myself

      lt happens lol, why risk management is an important skill and being able to plan for "well wht if it does go wrong?" in such games.~ RNG important in strategy imo so you can't just try and brute force things or not think about stuff. Risk Calculation and management is goooood to have~

      yeah, funnily enough, it's thanks to Fire Emblem Awakening that I have that skill and my "never count your chickens before your eggs hatch" mentality.

      First off, it's Jeigan. Secondly, that's kind of a poorly worded question. There are some Ests that are amazing such as Delthea and SoV Est which due to how the level up systems work make them stand out. There are also some fantastic and even game breaking Jeigans as well which most of those are Oifeys.

       

      I guess I'll have to be on the Jeigan side purely due to them always having a use and serving the role as the early game savior. They also are strong even in the mid-game when you need an additional unit to help guard or rush in to stop a bandit from destroying a house.

      I don't think there has ever been a useless Jayginn (yes, I know), while almost all Ests are obsolete when playing at least semi-efficiently (generally how I play). The only good Est off the top of my head is FE5's Sara, who's got 80% offensive growths,

      Ests are usually more charming but they're just too much work much of the time. Plus Jaegens can be really useful on harder difficulties, like Marcus in Blazing sword.

    self-explanatory really, which one did you play first of each gen? remakes count as the gen the originals came out in. so HGSS counts as gen 2

    Even without Sludge Bomb, I'd say this Moth you got should be pretty good. rash IIRC boosts special attack for special defense so nature wise it's not too bad, amazing IV's in speed. Ability wise... You could have gotten better, but in general, Venomoth has a good set, granted Wonder Skin is probably the worst. But that's what Ability capsules are for. if you have a couple of capsules to spare Tinned Lens will make sure that Not Very Effective moves used by it get stronger, making Coverage easier

    I just learned something. and that something has upset me. One issue I have with FE Echoes is the Lightning Sword being a bit Meh. Guess what, they also have a Magic Bow weapon. that bow is, actually, + 1might instead of anything else tho. Why did they fuck up my favorite sword but not the bow too? or why not the other way around? I guess I can find colsolance in the fact they didn't hit a double whammy

    I hate to be that guy, but I don't think many would send of a marshadow they went out of their way to get (considering you had to go to a physical store for a code to get it instead of just downloading it)

    I never count silent protagonists as actual characters because, as you said, they are supposed to project YOU. Thus it would not be fair to judge a character like that like all the others. And, believe it or not, I'm not the biggest fan of Silent Protags. if they're there it's fine, I will probably still enjoy your game, but I won't count them as the best character. That's one of the main reasons I dislike Red in any game that isn't Kanto based. Red is a Character with no character, so why project him in a way where his Silent Protagonist status adds nothing?

    @Flying Crocodile they're doing a Fire Monotype run. so using anything that isn't part fire for anything outside of HM Slaving is not allowed. for my tip: Delphox. due to its psychic type it can potentially deal good damage to it

    I've asked this before, but I wanna throw this out again. What if, instead of Severa, Morgan was the third most popular child unit of the trio (not sure if Severa really is third, just an assumption) and was send into Fates. What would her (going off Female Morgan as I like her better and have used her more then male Morgan) Class be? What would her personal skill be? Would she (due to her Amnesiac moments) accidently go to Hoshido instead of Nohr? What would Morgan do?

    Like, why not just gve it a 2(base) to 5 (max Forged) boost to attack and make it deal magic damage?
