The Reborn League actually disbanded quite a while ago. Thus there are no gym leaders to challenge. Instead the PokeNations thing has sort of taken over the competitiveness of Reborn.

Welcome to the forums! I suggest checking out PO so you can chill with us in the Reborn room. Otherwise there's lots to do here. Just have fun and I'm sure you'll do well.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Also I vote Skarmory as our mascot as it supports the image of a "Haven". Strong and supportive like steel, and birds try very hard to protect their nests.

Just beat Jericho 1-0 As an added note we forgot to set the clauses, but we didn't break any of them as you'll see. Also it should be noted that sleep and freeze clauses aren't much of an issue with these rules as if you proc the status, chances are good you won't be roaring your opponent out and thus could sleep an entire team (as I tried to do with Jumpluff one-by-one to no avail due to misses). But it's entirely possible to make a tanky poke with yawn & protect to sweep a team on it's own.

The league disbanded. :/ But Pokemon Nations is a thing if you want to get onto the competitive scene here. If you're referring to the in-game Reborn League, then yes it will be a lot harder then any Pokemon game you've ever played.

Thank you all. And I apologize for the long intro, so I cut out quite a bit so that it's more reader friendly. In regards to my sanity, well I discarded any sense of that when I took up philosophy. XD

I have arrived. Yeah sadly that's all I really have for a magician-style intro. I'd like to make it a bit more creative by including other parties beyond male & female counterparts to offer proper respect to other sentient entities, whether they be hermaphroditic, transgender, golems, robots, aliens, spirits, eldritch abominations, cyborgs, etc. But that'd sound kinda long and isn't as iconic as what I put up, so it is what it is. :/ My strange choice of intro aside, I thought I'd try to say hey and properly introduce myself seeing as I'm new to the Reborn Community. My name is Nicholas (though most just call me Nick) and I'm a 21 years old. I'm a Philosophy Major in college. My hobbies include, but are not limited to: Magic (obviously), Philosophy, Meditation, Chess, Anime/Manga, Role-playing, Games, Cards, Karaoke, Music, etc. Beyond that I guess you guys could just ask me any questions you have about me that I've failed to answer since I can't really think of much else to say about myself beyond the basics. As far as the games I enjoy, Pokemon is obviously one of them otherwise I probably wouldn't be here. XD Some of the games I play include: Board-Game Online, Yugioh, League of Legends, Smite, Chess, Eden Eternal, and Wild-Star Online (when I actually get it that is >_>; ) I'm a competitive battler and tutor on Pokemon Showdown and specialize in Monodark. I ended up hearing about Pokemon Reborn and took a look at it. Reading and watching it to see what this was all about. And I found myself fascinated by it. I still feel like I was probably a big fish in a small pond and thought it might be a good idea to try and broaden my horizons a bit more by trying to experience them with what appears to be a pretty nice community, such as your own. And I'll admit that I was happily surprised to see how each Gym Leader embraced their attribute, especially Luna as a fellow Dark Trainer. So I was hoping to potentially speak with each of them and see what they're really like, cause they seemed like a pretty cool bunch from what I saw in the game. But from what I've heard about the League disbanding, I suppose my timing is pretty poor. XD But perhaps one day in the future, who knows. But that aside, I look forward to getting to know all of you.
