Jan there some bugs on stairs like Marianette's Palace or door exits of routes like or the entrance to Wispy Lab that you can enter from sides If u know what I mean. Sorry no screenshots maybe someone can confirm it

Your only problem is Drain Punch b/c there is no Tutor yet in the game with this move

As for events you can check some thread on "On th Hunt" Section like the Location Guide or Weather Thread. Some sidequests gives you items or mons. More Sidequests would be availbe on E15 with Dive. Personal recom: Give a ride in the whole region (and talk to everyone) u can found lot of stuffs. I'm doin' this after every update

Note that outside of the Grand Hall on Sunny Days you can found a Ice Cream Vendor and it's worthy to at last buy one Ice Cream for later use Also some events: Pansear can be obtainable while it's rainig too (unless have changed) Numel event while raining on the Train Station This can help you too
