Hmm come to think of it yeah, with the option of switching in when the opponent is about to send out a new Pokemon, normal Pokemon with a hold item will probably be more difficult to defeat than a pure Mega (unless its like Mega Mawile or Mega Metagross or something like that)

Well technically, his character has been already altered in a way. I mean, who would imagine Bugsy to be someone that treats his sister like she's invisible? (Not that his character was fully developed in the main series games in the first place...)

That's probably because the route west of Cianwood is based on the original Battle Frontier facility (can't remember which one it was...) - hence you can't access your bag in that area.

I was really excited about Gen 6 at first... and X/Y almost made me get the 3DS. But after reading the feedback from players who have already completed the game, I thought twice about purchasing it. The updated graphics did look interesting, but the overall game difficulty and plot kinda put me off. I find the latter point very important in games such as Pokemon (which is why I love the PMD series so much (except GoI) - although it may be my personal preference) - which is what X/Y lacked in my opinion. I know I may be wrong - because I never played X/Y, but that's my overall impression of it. ORAS, however, is another story. I probably have played R/S/E about 50 times, and it plays an important part of my childhood - so I'm really curious to find out how they remade it. I refrained from reading major spoilers - so hopefully I will be satisfied with ORAS once I get it... eventually.

7th Street is accessible once you receive your eighth badge. It's part of the story - so don't worry about missing it out. The Miner's Kit is a device that allows you to mine 'glowing' rocks you see in caves for shards, stones, fossils etc. It's found under the Grand Stairway (you need Rock Smash to get it)

I also support this... maybe the Quagsire can be replaced with a Mega Swampert? Personally, I feel Garchomp will be more of a threat with an Assault Vest rather than a Mega evo

The only character I would like to see from the main series is Bugsy. It was mentioned sometime ago... but I would like to see a scene where Shelly stands up to him for once and defeat him in a battle or something.

I agree with this. On my first playthrough, I almost lost to Noel for the 1827390th time - but I barely won with my last Pokemon (Arcanine) with a sliver of health left. I don't usually shout when I play computer games, but this one made me did it.

A Hyper Beam miss + Crit Earthquake from Swampert = GG ...yeah a lot of luck was involved, but hey. What is Pokemon without hax?

^THIS I really wouldn't be surprised if the remaining gym leaders start to use Megas. Since we are given a wide range of Pokemon to use at this point, it is natural for the Gym Leaders to become 'easier' to defeat (unless they are all given an OP field like Charlotte) - so I think it's viable that the remaining leaders receive Megas - to make the battle slightly more difficult if possible.

I came in expecting a lot of G.Gardevoir responses... but I never realized how important Absol fits into Reborn. I wish we could have like a special Absol we encounter time to time as we progress along the story.
