    That was quite suprising, Shun had Kiai trapped with some 'field,' making Tal protected. Guess we gotta shift targets. "Kiai, Foresight to find a way out! Voltage hit Shun with a Quick Attack of your own." Guess Voltage is out on his own for now.

    "Hmm, widespread attack eh?" Luckily Robert had checked Voltage's moves while Shiro checked Shun with the Professor., Showing him that he had Quick Attack, Leer and ThunderShock to deal with. "Ok, Voltage, try to spread your ThunderShock out to clear some of the Icy Wind. Kiai, you jump through the earliest danger free space, and use Quick Attack on Tal!" With that, they went into action, Voltage's ThunderShock lessened to attack headind towards them, while Kiai went straight through the first clearing and Quick Attacked towards the Snorunt. Kiai- 100%->75% Moves:Quick Attack(On Tal) Voltage- 100%-> 85% Moves:ThunderShock(Defensive)

    "Ok, so how 'bout we get started Shiro?" With that, they had gotten to their respective sides. Apparently Kenny had caught up to the group and got up to Henry, and with them was a... Huh? Oh, that tail. Ok so it's a Zorua. Guess that makes some sense. "Ok, Kiai, Voltage, step on up." And with their respective 'Ruru' and 'Bi Bii', they took position. "How bout you take first move, Shiro?"

    Got it.Also, with how Robert and Kenny seem to be messed up on here, isn't it just ironic how Kenny added Zoro to that confusion?

    "Uh, sure man." With that, he went and entered Shiro's ID into the Pokedex, setting it up for him. "So, you wanna put any BP on this battle? If so, I think 5BP is good for a first battle. Oh yeah, guess we should atleast ask the teacher if it's not just single battles." With that, he turned to the teacher that seemed to be In charge of that field. "Is it ok if we do a double battle?"

    Robert turned to see Shiro, with a new Snorunt beside him, requesting a battle. "Heh, sure dude no problem. So, you wanna make this a 1v1, or do you want all of our pokes to get in on this? Either way, I'm good." As they were talking Robert began heading to the room that the fields were apparently going to be.

    "Huh, guess it's time. Shiro, how 'bout we get our new partners? Then we'll be able to get a battle with some new people!" Hopefully Shiro was with him, otherwise Robert would probably break from excitement. He decided to search for a partner, more or less expecting luck to have decided the encounter. Robert ended up at the Electric Table, and decided to close his eyes and have 'fate' get some choice in it. As soon as he opened his eyes, he had in his hands on a Pokeball Labeled 'Elekid'. "Ok, guess there's no time like the present. Come on out, Elekid!" With that a the yellow, pudgy Elekid came out, with an energized, "Bi bi Bii," rotating his arms and causing Sparks. "Hey Elekid, my name's Robert and this is Kiai. Great to meet you." He held his hand out for a shake, but the earlier charge-up acted as a Pokemon-Joy Buzzer, shocking Robert then and there. "Well, guess you've got a lot of shock to yah. You want this cookie?" He took out the half-cookie he had saved for this, and Elekid grabbed it happily and gobbled it up. "Heh, guess you like that too. I wonder what I should call you. Hm, how bout Voltage?" Hearing the name, Elekid showed an appreciative smile, and held out his arm in a arm-pump style. "Well then, Voltage, come with Kiai and me, and we'll get you a match."

    Great, I'm now an 18 year-old with a Drivers Liscencee. Guess I'll have to decide if I 'grow my social life', or just expand from here.

    Oh my goodness. Robert, Kenny and Shiro's conversation... I know I may be bringing on the Wrath of the Ship Lords, but I would shed a tear at this bromance if I wasn't one of it's creators. -Bromance: Deep guy bond; 0% 'Gay'

    Woah, what Shiro just said... Was he being serious? "Shiro, dude, I know that I just meet you yesterday, and that, if your serious about what you said, you think we're all just taking groups. You gotta think dude, this is the First actual day of school, and the so called 'cliques' are nothing more that who people met yesterday through chains of events, just how life went. In fact, you must've met some other people during your escapade to get Shun. Now you can take this as my opinion or a statement, but your only alone if you tell yourself that." With that, Robert hoped his words would get through to him, waiting for them to settle. "If you want, we can even go around and talk to others. Or we can just see if other's come to us. Your choice really." (Bfrogger, you can bunny me around if you decide which choice to follow, Atleast until I next post)

    "Uh, sure man." Taking the Poke- Cookie that was handed to to him, he broke it up in half, and gave one of the Halves to Kiai, which began to gobble at the piece given. While Kiai was hungry enough that he could easily eat the whole cookie, the other half was going to be saved for the second partner that we'd be getting. Hopefully, that would just add to it being a happy meeting him and Kiai.

    Turning back from the apparent fight, he found Shiro sitting on the floor behind him. Robert was kinda confused about this, being that all that happened between the group conversation and now was random students getting aggressive. Was he just tired, or was he just that sensitive towards other people. Even if either were true, Robert was never that able to read people's actions, only really able to understand through hearing their side of things. With that, Robert sat down right by Shiro and tried to start up a conversation. "So, anything else on your mind." Sure, it wasn't much, but Atleast he'd know if something was wrong.

    Heh, I was more-or-less waiting for Kenny(K_H) to respond to your 'introduction.' Not really like Robert has much going on, atleast from his POV.

    Robert was just waiting for the next step, and he heard a voice calling him, and it was Shiro. "Oh, hey Shiro, good to see yah. I'm assuming you did well on the test as well? I mean, it seemed easy if you knew the basics, atleast to me."

    Hmm, that was simple enough. In reality though, he had looked into every type matchup the second he even THOUGHT of sending a letter to Ymora, so it wasn't like he was going into it blind. Even with items, most of their descriptions were blasted around Dewford with challenger's strategies used against Brawly, so those ended up ingrained into his brain at some point. With that, he sent his answers in, pretty happy with himself.

    After they had gotten to the Cafeteria, he found the 'buffet' of food available, and just had to have Atleast one of each thing. Once sitting down, he explained all that Shiro and Henry missed during the Speech, being that the would need it. After him and Kiai finished up their food, Robert left with a polite "See yah later," and headed off to the dorms. He may have found a battle, but he didn't see much activity that wasn't already filled. Hopefully he got in on the action, or else the anticipation alone may break him. (This my last IC post of Chapter 1. K_H, you can bunny him into something that doesn't affect the plot[such as a card game] but otherwise he'll just head off to bed eventually, wake up around 6:30 am, and start morning training)

    "Wait, worried for me? Nah, he just caught me off guard with that, that's all. Trust me, I ended up taking a Makuhita's arm thrust from a stupid bet back in Dewford, short story is that I won." Heh, I can't believe something like that just happened, but that's Karma for you. Luckily, they were able to catch up to Henry. "Hey man, if your gonna punch a guy in the gut, yah might as well stay and wait for them to get up."

    Already saw it. Lol. First Henry Punches me in the gut, now commander's trying to change my name like an April Fools Joke.

    "Gah" was all that came out before Henry punched him straight in the gut. It's obvious that Robert would recline, atleast since he wasn't expecting anything after reaching downwards towards Shiro to pull him up. Once he regained his breath, he went back to help Shiro up. "Well, guess I had that coming from the same guy that was headed off with me before I followed Devin's instructions. Anyway, why don't we follow him there? I mean, might as well, right?"

    "Uh, heh, ok then dude. Guess your not that much of a violent type. I do feel sorry though, just had priorities a little messed up." Well, that was awkward. Robert thought to himself, 'Would've thought Shiro'd have his hand around my neck like that Vulpix guy' "Well, anyway, how about we head to the Barbeque? Maybe you'll clarify the adventure you had while we eat?" He held out his hand to Shiro to help him up.

    Maybe bad memories? Also, Would that be a tower of Tepig Back Ribs and Kentucky Fried Torchic you have on your plate? No matter what, don't feel bad as long as you apply the 'Pokemon regenerate as long as the bones aren't disgraced' idea in the Canalave Library.

    Just then, Robert bumped into another kid, seeming to be going in the opposite direction. "What the h- Wait, oh it's you, Shiro right? It's me Robert, from earlier. How are you feeling about- oh, there's your Ralts there. Guess that means everything worked out just fi-". Just then, he noticed that Shiro, aswell as his Ralts, were pretty messed up. "Wait a minute, did you head into the forest after Devin? Dang it, I thought that it would be fine leaving it to Devin, but you got roughed up while I just left." Great, he followed orders, and the kid he was trying to help got himself in trouble to save his Partner. He felt horrible through Heinsight, seeing how he even directed Shiro to the Forest. "Ah man, sure wish I was there to help. I swear I'll make this up to you somehow! For starters, if you want, just punch me. Knock some stress outta you and into me."

    "Well, that was enlightening to say the least." Everything seemed to be summed up in that speech, so atleast he knew what was going on. "Hey Kenny, whether your following or not, I'm headed off to the cafeteria. Wanna see all they have, THEN stuff my face with it!" With that, he walked out of the seating area. He thought to himself 'Maybe I'll even get a battle on the way there. More than that, hopefully I'll see that Shiro kid on the way, probably cheer him up as much as I can.' (Bfroger, when/if you next post, just say something like him being near you.)
