[Klive Once the class ended, Robert took his lunch out and moved towards Klive, hoping to see if xe had learned anything after the groups had separated yesterday. Without a lead of his own, he ended up heading home without any ideas, which only made him question just what he could've missed. As he got towards Klive, he noticed someone else already talking to xym. "Uh, heya Klive. And, sorry I don't know your name, but could I get it? Robert here, by the way."

Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]
TurboAura replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Getting flung again by the force of the trunk, Kiai yet again hit the fence and got shocked, landing to his knees. "Kiai..." Before he could finish, the Lucario fell from his knees to the ground, to worn out to continue. As such, Robert returned Kiai as he pretty much spoke to himself. "You did great Kiai, that's all I could ask for really. Enjoy your rest." As he put the ball away, Robert looked up and kept a smile. "Well, guess that's how things go. Good luck in the next round Ryan." He left the arena with a smile still on his face, feeling sure that they gave it all they could. -Parents (Stands)- "Well then, seems that's the end for his battles then. Was hoping we'd get to see him go further through the whole event." While still in his usually cheerful tone, his more negative expression spoke for itself. Nikki herself looked like she had been squished down, sad for the rest of her team's loss. Akako, however, had a face that exuded pride. "You really need to cheer up, y'know. Yeah, he lost, but you act like he was just flattened out there. He never gave up and neither did Kiai, and it showed that is wasn't one-sided. Win or loss, he did well." "Well yes, he did do well even though he lost. And that's the outlook of a Gym trainer, Eh? Well I can't argue with that logic then, miss 'Battle Expert'." With a laugh from his ending joke to prove it was only a joke, he put on the same proud smile as he looked down, watching as Robert exited.- 1255 replies

Without even waiting for an order after he saw the incoming Ice Shards, he'd used his arm to block his face as he kept his ground. The downside being that this left his body open to whatever Attack the Donphan ran in with.- 1255 replies

353 (Due to double 350) @Ghost: Seem's your avatar's hyper, huh?
-
349 Let's hear you say Murkrow isn't swaggy enough over Prankster Perish Song.
-
343 @Azery: Oh, sorry. You remember back when we had that whole 'Dusk Stone' fight here? The girl with the Sableye wasn't just me making stuff up right then. In character backstory, close friend from Dewford, was the reason he ended up taking a Shadow Claw in the back. ...Or you could just have Azery come up with the combo on his own if you want it and have Robert's backstory removed from the situation. @Ashes: Up to you, don't really need to.
-
339 @Azery: Or just a Gallade. (Gallade = Link, Gardevoir = Zelda, Ganon = Shiny Emboar) Also, I could have Robert mention Chloe's 'Brimstone Claw' move when Sableye comes if you want it. (A Fire-added Shadow Claw by combining it with Will o Wisp)

And I'd be fine with that, since I had them in mind the second the idea came. And it's not like they don't bring up their own good point. I'd be more than fine having Robert support his reasons while hearing their own arguments.Along with that, it's not like Robert would just be getting a Zorua to have it, he'd be doing it to give Zoro a home (As well as being a symbol of vengeance for Robert)
-
@Chim: One question about when Kenny is 'gone': Do you have a plan for his Pokemon? If not, would there be any problem if Zoro (Zorua) were to stay with Robert? Of course it would be one of his 10, and I'd be fine with any restriction you'd set if you would even allow it (could even just have Zoro not battle until level-scale allows for it)
-
331 @Azery: My idea exactly, moreso with Zoro(Zorua). Plus, with the idea given of 'being pulled in for vengeance', owning one of his members is a definite idea. Of course, what Chim says takes precidence.
-
327 (Almost as bad as 70) How about we just admit that Murkrow and Honchkrow each have their own advantages, and that Avis would be even better staying as she is if Eviolite actually worked. As for Kenny, one thing struck in my mind: Just what will happen to his Pokemon? Will they go with his parents? Into the forest?
-
I doubt it would go THAT far for now, Henry'd have do something BIG for Robert to try that. (He'll still likely end up punching walls/trees as a stress relief)
-
305 @Ashes: Yep
-
@Dobby: Of course, only a horrible writer would push off this opportunity. All that's to question is just how the arc will end up going. @Commander: Oh yeah, that's true. As for his comments, it would defidently make more sense that that's break the final straw instead of it just being internal conflict.
-
302 I'm... In anticipation to see just how badly things will get in Ymora, especially wondering how well I'll be able to handle Robert's "breaking point".
-
Dang, everyone Robert was friends with until now has either left or will die... It's as if everything around him is telling him to just plain snap and not even try to hold things in.
-
285 @Azery: Hope and plan on it.
-
283 @Azery: Taken care of~. And just because I have the time to react to news here doesn't mean I have the time to come up with a 'character's reaction and the next step to pull off.
-
@Faust: Ah, don't worry, there's no reason I'd be offended by that, especially when I admit it can be true at times. Have been hoping to make the team members more 'individual,' so that kind of thing actually help. Hopefully I can get Voltage's personality working well out of all the members I have solidified (9 out of 10 confirmed)

Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]
TurboAura replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Before he could tell Kiai to Copycat the Bulldoze to try and limit things, the attack hit and it seemed to hit Hard. With the added ground left from the Bulldoze as well as the physical reactions, this would come to an end one way or another. "Kiai, Metal Claw!" Kiai's claws had a silver glow around them as he charged at the Donphan.- 1255 replies

@Tacos: Hey, as long as you're using the randomizer I'm fine with chance. @Faust: Ah, so you think Kiai lacks enough personality? ... Can't say I can argue that at this point. I've been trying to go for a mix between a mutual friendship and, since becoming a Lucario, moreso calm and level headed(atleast outside of battle at this point). Maybe I should put even more focus on personalities.

281 ...Is there any way to keep everything from going down in fire?

275 Wait, isn't paid subscription just an option for ad-free? I mean seriously, it's like the difference between following and subscribing on Twitch, you still get the info about videos/streams, you just have the option to pay for ad free.
