  1. "Nice to meet you too Kage." Robert happily shook his hand, relaxing a bit as he tried to limit some of his paranoia. "And as for programs, I'm in the Trainers program. It was really the only program that made sense for me to be really. What about you?" While Robert was focused on chatting, Kiai's focus was on mainly on the Ralts and how it looked them over, but after all he couldn't blame Lucas for being so observant. After all, they were completely new to each other, it'd only make sense to get a good feel for each other.
  2. Kage Robert's face returned to a smile once the other student replied, keeping himself from actually sighing in relief. He gladly listened to the little rant about the paperwork, chuckling at the end of it himself. "Haha, it's fine really. It's paperwork really, the one thing that really makes it worth it is the opportunities the papers give." While noticing the Hoenn accent, he decided not bring too much attention to that to avoid a unneeded mistake, even though he himself spoke with a lighter Hoenn accent. Kiai smiled back and waved at the Ralts when it innitially greeted him, watching as it was lowered down and giving another much closer greeting once they were level. "So, mind if I know your name? The name's Robert here, and the Riolu down there is Kiai." Robert smiled at him, hoping that he wasn't too quick asking that.
  3. Thank you for giving me an idea of what to do! I was lost on what to do even after reading the events.
  4. Robert had a grin from ear to ear once he had received the items, looking them over happily. His very own Trainer Card and Pokedex, and a dorm key to boot. After a while of looking all the stuff over he was brought back to reality by Kiai pulling on his trainer's pant legs while letting out a few cries and sporting a less than enthused face. After all, he did already stay right with Robert through a line, and even let Robert had his little moment with the new items, but the Riolu could only be patient for so long waiting besides his trainer. "O-oh, sorry Kiai. Guess I zoned out for a bit there." Robert chuckled at Kiai and rubbed the back of his head regretfully, Kiai sighed as he shook his own head, just being glad that he was paying attention now. With that out of the way Robert looked around, seeing all that seemed to be going on while he had been distracted. Part of him wanted to find a place to join in, but it's not like he knew anyone yet, heck that was why he felt he needed to get involved. Eventually the Riolu got tired of waiting on Robert's inability to make a decision. He sighed and smacked Robert's leg to get his attention again, waving his paw forward as he started to lead a way. Assuming it meant Kiai had a plan Robert chuckled and went along with it, just hoping that this wouldn't end up in an attempt to start a battle. Luckily for him Kiai's goal was just to lead him to someone to actually talk to, which ended up being a trainer with a Ralts with them. "Oh, uh hello there." Robert said hopefully, hoping the guy would notice him.
  5. Okay, busy day kept me away when stuff actually started happening it seems. Guess I'll need to read all that happened a couple times to find a place to put Robert that would work.
  6. Both Robert and Kiai's eyes had lit up when they saw the gate start to open up and the introductory words from the other side, smiles spread across both of their faces. As soon as Robert saw the an opening in the crowd he went through the freshly open gate, Kiai following right behind his trainer. While Kiai's main focus was looking at any other students, Robert's full attention following the instruction on the invitation letter, which he had admitably read about three times just this morning to make sure this wasn't just a glorious dream. With that in mind and ID in hand and registration papers in the other, Robert went off to the main building with a grin on his face and eventually found the registration desks, getting in line as Kiai was too hyped to get impatient from any line.
  7. Aww, well good luck Bfroger6, but if you don't think you can be here then I wish you luck.
  8. 59 Yeah, I was inactive for a while too because of a lack of things to do. Don't worry it's understandable.
  9. 49 Okay, I think I'm getting a little too into thinking up Fakemon at the moment.
  10. I kind of doubt it. 6 is kind of the 'Pokemon team' magic number, unless you're looking at side games like Conquest or Mystery Dungeon.
  11. 41 Sweet, accepted! Edit: And, ooh~ Cyaloom, you want in Ymora?
  12. Well, if I made a different character it would have been a Coordinator, but it wouldn't make sense just making Robert a co-ordinator with his backstory.
  13. Name: Robert Tsuyo Age: 15 (August 21st) Program: Trainer Starting side: Student Hometown: Dewford Town Starter: Kiai(Riolu) (in depth info is in 'Team' Spoiler.) Appearance: Tanish-White skin from where he lives, Has brown eyes and brown hair. He wears glasses and his normal attire is a T-Shirt and long pants with tennis shoes. Personality: Backstory: Team as of now:
  14. That actually sounds perfect! Okay, it's settled then as long as Chim's fine with it.As for the genderbend joke, I'd only make my character a different gender if it was relevant to the character. Plus, Chloe was the secondary character but no chance I'm using her since I'm sure Stratos using Sableye will do better than I could hope to with Hectic
  15. Hmm... Just need to get a good character to work with. Robert (The character I used last time) is my main choice and has a pretty thought out backstory, and the only problem I'd have is if the Riolu wasn't able to be his starter. And since Mareek is already going with Sableye I have no real reason push for what would be my number two idea... Hmm... I'm on the fence of re-using Robert or getting a new trainer and backstory for them.
