  1. "Look at all these mages. My, it HAS been a while since I've had the luxury of being able to just waltz into a throng of foes with reckless abandon. It's usually with panicked ...abandon." Terrin smirked to himself before he pressed on forward, tome already open in his hand as he looked around menacingly at the enemy monks and mages. Move to G17
  2. Casually discussing the dankest of Reborn-based memes. Me and Amethyst are 100% professional and hard working on the game. Promise.

  3. Honestly I think Celesteela has alot of viability purely because, with it's balanced stats and Beast Boost, it could run a lot of different builds, with what, 4 different options for what stat gets boosted when it KOs stuff? It could be pretty unpredictable.
  4. Maybe I'm misremembering, but I thought Nihilego's stats & moveset were both not that spectacular either, or am I thinking of a wrong UB? Honestly I hope I am because I'd love a super powerful poison type.
  5. I am wearing a dressing gown on top of a hoodie on top of a jumper on top of a tshirt on top of a vest. Maximal warmth.

I wasn't debating whether a gown was better or not however it could easily be an extra layer. Also you need a winter-ass coat to make absolutely certain that you can't use your arms

So this is how Marcello gave himself a heatstroke.

  6. As of E15, that event is currently unfinished. Most people think it will eventually lead to Magikarp, as that's what it was in earlier releases.
  7. "...Huh. Did I turn into Ecquis when I wasn't looking or something?" Terrin gets un-Terrin levelups. gg rng. In fairness, he can do with missing out on magic for a level or two, skill and defences are great.
  8. We've only started talking recently-ish but you seem really cool! Have a great birthday. May your Illyana's be rng blessed always
  9. I always thought Sleep Talk was a Gen V move. HOW HAS IT BEEN AROUND SINVE GEN II?

I thought Sleep Talk was Gen 1

    3. Redo.

      Redo.

Rest, Sleep Talk, Roar, Surf was as broken with or without Calm Mind with the old Stat Exp and no abilities.

Well, the first thing that was similar to Crocune did exist ((it was a resttalker just without boosting.)) the more thing solidfied as it came about in gen 3 or the signature that is referred to as Crocune. Also Crocune has always been pretty strong, it was solid in most of the gens and it's always been decently solid as Suicune's big gimmick. ((Mono-attacking water is still probs the best monoattacking sets.))

  11. "Hey thanks Luka, you're really helping me a lot today!" Terrin gave the dancer a thumbs up before recklessly charging ahead through the forest. Shortly he was on the other side, twigs and leaves stuck in his hair and certain parts of his noble garb. He was... about as good with navigating forests as he was with navigating spirits towards enemies. "...I should have gone around..." He grumbled, flicking a grub off of his tome. Move to G12.
  12. Well, I should give fair warning that I wasn't even a player of Reborn before it had Gen VI, let alone on the dev team, so I can't say how much of the initial implementation came from Essentials, but if you look at, for example, the wall of bugs, there are a number of things there pertaining to GenVI features and additions not working correctly or at all which have been fixed. Just to list off a few things that come to mind which I have dealt with in E16's dev cycle, there were issues with Spiky Shield & King's Shield, as well as parental bond. If you want to look at more broad features, the fact that unbreedable mons have a guaranteed 3 perfect IVs is a feature added in GenVI that I have added during the development of E16. I'm sure there's more stuff too, but this is what has come to mind.
  13. Alright so just gonna pick up on this here. No Ame didn't make the engine and scripts but we are free to alter the scripts ourselves and indeed, most issues and non-full support for Gen VI mechanics were dealt with as bugs by myself and a number of others. So, when we deem appropriate, we can ourselves implement any necessary changes scriptside for Gen VII, in the same way we have fixed bugs in the past and added new features. That said, no official word on the topic at hand, we're focusing on getting E16 out before we even think of starting to formalise any plan we have towards GenVII content. Feel free to continue to speculate of course though, just thought I would clarify that we most certainly do not have to wait for the essentials team to do the work for us that's what I'm here for
  14. Terrin spotted the soldier hiding in the woods. Accuracy was not the mage's strong point, so an enemy under the cover of trees was perhaps not the optimal target. However, he was in range, he looked weakened, and the only other enemies he could reach were Pegasi, which were rather talented at shrugging off magic (not to mention attacking them would put him right out in the open.) "Did somebody order some highly precise and accurate thunder magic?" He announced, pulling a pose as soon as he noticed he was near both Hoshiko and Klaren, smiling to himself as he began to call on the spirits. Move to G9 and attack Soldier 3
  15. "Hey, thanks Luka!" Terrin gave the dancer a confident thumbs up as soon as he felt revitalised and full of energy. "I think I'll do just that. Stay safe out here!" He yelled before running off, figuring Luka wouldn't had ran over here and told him to head off unless he had a plan to deal with the nearby Pegasus. Move to J7.
  16. "These guys seem to have everything under control and I'm just sorta lagging behind. The others, though..." Terrin glanced to the southwest group of their allies that appeared to be faring... Quite a bit less well. He sighed and turned to Dash. "Hey, do me a favour and let Meredith and the others around here know that I've gone to help the other group, you guys all seem to have things handled here." He decided, as the others weren't close enough for him to tell them himself. He quickly ran off, confident that nothing could possibly go wrong with a mage travelling on his own from one end of a battlefield to the other. Move to O7
  17. Sorry I've been on the busy side, my bad. Terrin has no problem following Luka's lead to the other group, he's not really needed with this one right now.
  18. Well this looks cool, and I certainly will keep an eye on it. Probably won't sign up for this one, between classes & E16 my time is spread a tad thinly these days so I'd rather focus on being consistent with Ashes, but I'll keep up with this for sure because I imagine it'll be a fun read. And hey, if FEF catches on and becomes more common around here after these two, I'd say that's a damn good thing. Oh and Murdoc, is there a reason Mrdwyn has no promotion personal skill? Or is her boost to progression on promotion a substitute for that?
  19. Hello, yes, it is I, Marcello. If you used CE to speed things up while breeding, there will indeed be no flagging to your save file. Online is planned for E17 so it's a while away, but when it does hit, you should be able to trade & battle to your heart's content!

I got rushed in my capital turn 12 by 2 Horse Archers and a Horseman. Was not fun. Still won vs bad Emperor AI.

  21. "Damn, can't get close enough to attack that fighter..." The mage shrugged, nothing he could do right now except keep pressing on forward. Once he got to his new position, though, he did pull out his tome and start scribbling in a margin, mostly about the technical possibilities of forming his magic into spears. Move to P3

DUDE NO Ahem... I'd also like to add a very clear disclaimer that, of the various bugs found during Alpha so far, this one was very definitely not my fault. But I almost wish it was because... I mean, come on, just look at it! Does Corey turn into a Jump Kicking medicham when he does the thing?
  23. Regarding the horse, given Terrin's family is rich as all hell back home, I was intending for him to basically grab a warhorse from anywhere training and selling them in Caelum and just politely leave it on his mother's tab, hopefully without bumping into her. Or just beg mother for a pet warhorse. Or get a zombie one like his little brother...
  24. Two particular things I wanna point out from the opening: The new people we say in Blake's bit, the older man and the younger girl. Her biological family, perhaps? That'd be cool. As for the array of villains (which is sorely lacking in Emerald, Mercury & Neo), I feel like the fact that there's 4 of them (not counting Salem) is key. Perhaps the reason we've yet to see the other three is that they've been doing similar work to Cinder in the other three Kingdoms? Perhaps (despite the fact that the three new ones appear to all be men) one of them is each intended to steal a Maiden's power, like Cinder? There are a lot of aspects of RWBY that flow with the number 4, so it will be interesting to see if any of them correspond to why there's 4 people seemingly working for Salem.
