It's not particularly the text that's the problem though, it's the whole placement and just thereness of it. The collapsing of the menu doesn't get rid of what I hate about it. In fact, I think it makes it even look worse when I'm on the top of a page. It's just, so, distracting.

It's an ugly eyesore. I don't need a whole part of my screen constantly being stuff I'm never going to use or care about half the time. I'd be easier on it if it was JUST the index page it was on, but it's not, so boo it.

Well if you existed in my world, you could borrow my copies. Video games are such a waste of money. At least new ones, i.e., when they first come out and costs 40~60 bucks. So not worth it.

Lucky. The graphic novels are greaaaaaaaat. Do it. EDIT: And they're still really cheap off of Amazon. You could snag the whole series for a little over 40 bucks right now, not that bad.

They didn't shove six books into one movie. They said way back that the movie was made with very little reference to book 6, and that half of it is based around the books, half of it would be kind of off in it's own little world. That said, I still BADLY have been wanting to see this movie for MONTHS now. I'll have to wait until tomorrow night, at the earliest, though. There was no midnight showing where I live. Sigh.

That and Metric's original version. Both are wonderful. The album it's off of...is kind of meh, though. I understand what Beck was aiming for, but it just makes me wish Beck would have polished the songs more. Oh well. It's a decent album, especially for a movie. But very underwhelming for the likes of Beck, Broken Social Scene, The Black Lips, and Metric under the guidance of Nigel freaking Godrich!

Okay, I was waiting for more posts but... It was a hard decision between N8 and Will, but I'll pick Will, because I love that guy (philosoraptor, but I guess I can love Will too).

^ I'd have sex with that woman. Right now: Arcade Fire - Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) Argh, I love this song. I have so badly (re)fallen in love with this band after The Suburbs had finally clicked in my mind and their recent live Youtube performance from Madison Square Garden with Terry Gilliam. I think it took me a while to really like The Suburbs...just because it's not what I really wanted from the band, I wanted more Funeral. More No Cars Go and Wake Up, less Month of May and Modern Man. But whatever. The Suburbs is fantastic. I think the band realizes they may never make a masterpiece like Funeral, and don't care to try and do it. Radiohead seemingly does the same thing. They'll probably never make another OK Computer or Kid A, but hell, Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows are still good in their own right. I've also been listening to a lot of James Mercer stuff (Broken Bells and The Shins). Because, I swear, Starbucks just plays the same songs over and over again. It's mostly all Shins and Broken Bells, spots of Spoon, Elliott Smith's Waltz #2, and sometimes Belle and Sebastian, Vampire Weekend, or Modest Mouse. But it's rare to not hear James Mercer's voice when I'm out front doing stuff during work. Not an extremely bad thing... and since I started that rant, the song has changed to: The Mountain Goats - The Mess Inside And I know no one cares about my rants, other than me. But whatever.
