Thanks for the information! Would you recommend any changes to any of the EV's?
-
I finished finding all the Pokemon that I need. I also researched the best EV's for each of the Pokemon based on their attacks, which I have listed second. The first EV's listed is what was recommended to me. I was asking for suggestions to which one was better or if you have other recommendations. Please and thank you. Swampert EVs: 252 ATT / 252 HP / 4 SPEED Brave Nature (+ATT, -SPEED) EVs: 252 HP / 252 DEF / 4 SP.DEF Impish Nature (+DEF, -SP.ATT) ---------------- Reniculus EVs: 252 DEF / 252 SP.DEF / 4 HP Quiet Nature (+SP.ATT, -SPEED) EVs: 192 HP / 64 DEF / 252 SP.ATT Quiet Nature (+SP.ATT, -SPEED) ---------------- Chandelure EVs: 78 SP.ATT / 200 DEF / 200 SP.DEF / 32 HP Timid Nature (+SPEED, -ATT) EVs: 252 SPEED / 252 SP.ATT / 4 DEF Timid Nature (+SPEED, -ATT) ---------------- Heliolisk EVs: 252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED / 4 HP Modest Nature (+SP.ATT, -ATT) EVs: 252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED / 4 HP Timid Nature (+SPEED, -ATT) ---------------- Scrafty EVs: 252 HP / 252 SPEED / 4 ATT Adamant Nature (+ATT, -SP.ATT) EVs: 252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 4 HP Jolly Nature (+SPEED, -SP.ATT) ---------------- Durant EVs: 252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 4 HP Adamant Nature (+ATT, -SP.ATT) EVs: 252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 4 HP Jolly Nature (+SPEED, -SP.ATT) P.S. One question to anyone, is there any way to bump a topic back up as a topic with a new message? This is because when I get new information for a certain topic and I am last person to have posted a message. I know that we are not supposed to double post so I always edit the previous post. This, however, does not show the topic as a topic with a new message. I was wondering if there was a way to make topic look like has a new message even if only the last message has been edited. I tried looking for a way to do this, but I did not find anything. If anyone knows a way, please let me know.

The Ground Hidden Power Litwick is fine by me. I think I am going to breed some more Helioptile's. The Ice Helioptile is still going to be in my box, but I might get lucky with some other Helioptile's. I'm just thinking that the Ice Helioptile has somewhat good IVs and I might find another Helioptile with better IVs. EDIT (11/4/14 10:26 pm): I breed some more Helioptile's and currently have 22 good ones after removing all the bad ones. Their Hidden Powers are all of the following: 4 Ice, 2 Poison, 2 Rock, 3 Dragon, 1 Steel, 1 Ground, 3 Grass, 3 Fire, 1 Bug, and 2 Ghost. What is the best Hidden Power for a Helioptile with Surf, Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, and Hidden Power? For all of their IV's, I wrote down all of their IV's and Hidden Powers: http://postimg.org/image/btfh0shtf/ Sorry for my bad handwriting... I was leaning towards Helioptile number 1, 3, or 21, mostly to number 1. Any thoughts? Please and thank you. EDIT (11/6/14 12:07 pm): I finished finding all the Pokemon that I need. That is true, but than what would the next best choice be? I guess the next best one would be Ground one. It is the next one with the next highest speed. I guess I can breed more Litwick's and try for another one. What would the best Helioptile be though?
-
That is what I was leaning towards. Thanks for the input. Also, I finished mass breeding the Helioptile's. After looking, sorting, and removing, here are the final Helioptile's:http://postimg.org/gallery/1vsls8dxo/ Please ignore their abilities because I have A TON of shards from mining so I can change any abilities using the Ability Capsules. Their Hidden Power's are the following: Ground, Ghost, Electric, Fire, Water, Water, Ice, Rock, Dragon, and finally Electric, respectively. The Electric ones, the third and tenth Helioptile's, are out for obvious reasons. I am leaning towards the Dragon one (9th). I might consider even the Fire one (4th) or maybe even the Rock (8th) or maybe even the Ice (7th). SOOO MANNNNYYY CHOICESSSSS!!! I still think that I should go with the Dragon one. I would LOVE any suggestions that anyone has. Please and thank you.

After so much breeding, I got so many Litwick's (and a shiny!!). I sifted through them all and here are the top five best Litwick's based on their IV's and here they are: http://postimg.org/gallery/3cyf88cly/ Their Hidden Power's are Poison, Dark, Ghost, Ice, and Ground respectively. I am almost (...100%...) guaranteeing that I might (...am definitely...) not using the Ghost Hidden Power Litwick. Ground seems like a good type, but I am leaning more towards Dark. Anyone have any suggestions? Please and thank you. P.S. I still have to mass breed the Helioptile's.
-
Thank you Shadow! That was very well explained. This seems like the best options also. I am not good at making these sort of decisions because I have never EV trained before. I was mostly unsure of the remaining few points. Would knowing their attacks help in deciding the EV spread for each of the Pokemon? If so here they are: -Swampert (Torrent) Dive Earthquake Hammer Arm Avalanche -Reuniclus (Magic Guard) Trick Room Psychic Energy Ball Hidden Power(Ground) -Chandelure (Flame Body) Energy Ball Flamethrower Shadow Ball Hidden Power(Poison)/Curse -Heliolisk (Solar Power) Thunderbolt Surf Grass Knot/Hidden Power(Electric) --> Not a good choice... Dark Pulse -Scrafty (Moxie) High Jump Kick Crunch Dragon Dance Ice Punch -Durant (Hustle) Iron Head X-Scissor Hone Claws Rock Slide Anyways, thanks for the set up.

I finally got the natures that I wanted for my new Pokemon Team that i was recommended here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10348. Here is my team right now: http://postimg.org/gallery/8fe1ucp2/ Now I just have to EV train them. I have never really EV trained in the main stream Pokemon games since they are so easy, I just enjoy the storyline... I found the EV Training guide written by Notus, all I was wondering is how I should spread the EV points for each stat for each Pokemon. I understand that, for example, Swampert should be EV trained for ATT and HP (252 each), leaving 6 for other stats (Please correct me if I am spreading the EV points incorrectly for Swampert). I was wondering what the other stats others might choose and also how the EV points should be spread out for all the other Pokemon. Please and thank you.

That's a good point. Timid it is then. Thank you! EDIT: I finally got the natures that I wanted. Here is my team right now: http://postimg.org/gallery/8fe1ucp2/ Now I just have to EV them. After some debating, I think I shall give the Pokemon the following natures: Swampert - Brave Reuniclus - Quiet Chandelure - Modest Heliolisk - Modest Scrafty - Adamant Durant - Adamant Any suggestions, because I would like to see if there are any better options. Please and thank you.
-
I finally got good enough IV's for all the Pokemon, (SO MUCCHHHH BREEDDDING......). I was wondering which natures would be appropriate for the Pokemon: Swampert, Reuniclus, Chandelure, Heliolisk, Scrafty, and Durant. Since I gave them moves based on ATT or SP ATT. I was thinking Modest(SP ATT+, ATT-) for the special attackers and Adamant(ATT+, SP ATT-) for the attackers. This would mean Modest for Reuniclus, Chandelure, and Heliolisk and Adamant for Swampert, Scrafty, and Durant. I have a lot of Heart Scales from mining so I was planning to go the Poke Psychologist and alter their natures. I was wondering if this would be the best nature for them or if there would be any nature better for any of them. Please and thank you.

I wrote this guide for another topic: Location of Ice Rock: Glaceon evolves while leveling up next to Ice Rock, which is located in Celestinine Mountain B2F. The entrance to this cave is in North Aventurine Woods, riding a Tauros is required to get there. Use one of these Tauros: NOTE: You must first have moved the log in the way by letting the Bouffalant on the right to charge. Straight north of these Tauros is the entrance: Travel straight north and jump this ledge: Continue on the path with the Tauros and jump the following ledge: NOTE: To access this part, you must have already removed the blockage via the fighting Pinsir and Heracross by using honey on the tree. Now dismount the Tauros and follow the path, which will lead to the cave entrance: Shortly after entering, go through a simple ice sliding puzzle and you'll find yourself at the Ice Rock: Have fun with your Glaceon.

I also have added 3d sprites to my game. I am missing some of them though(about 15 to 20) pokemon. I did add the female differences also. I use the Zeta sprites and just looked for the missing ones. I am also missing some of the backs of the 3d sprites, which are the ones that were not in the Zeta sprites. I found a file with all the 3d sprites(front only though) and added the female different sprites to my folder after correctly naming them. The only problem, stated above, is that some Pokemon appear half way down where they are supposed to appear. Also, the 3d sprites don't lag at all for me. The game lags the same amount when I had the 2d non moving sprites. If you want any of them, let me know (also let me know how to upload them because I have only uploaded images before, not an entire folder).

Wow... How did I over look that? I'm not that used to the 6th gen yet. Anyways, thank you sooo much!!
-
He did tell me this except Cacnea and Reuniclus can't breed. I was not able to find any Pokemon that can learn Energy Ball via leveling up and also be able to breed with Reuniclus. The same for Chandelure.
-
After a lot of breeding, I finally got the right Mudkip with the right nature. I noticed that you mentioned that Reuniclus should be breed to have Energy Ball. I looked into it, but I saw that it can't learn Energy Ball via Lotad/Petilil to Cacnea to Solosis. It can only learn Energy Ball via TM, which we don't have access to. This is the same for Chandelure. I looked for all possible chain breeds for these two but did not find anything, (Please let me know if I am wrong, I am pretty sure I checked all possibilities). I was wondering what other options you could advise me to take. I tried looking for other moves for each of them, such as: Grass Knot or Shadow Ball for Reuniclus and maybe Grass Knot for Chandelure via Breeding. Please let me know if you have other ideas. Please and thank you.

Thanks for the info. Durant it is. I got so much breeding to do now. Also, do you guys think that I did the right thing by choosing Heliolisk over Magnezone. I choose Heliolisk because it has more variety it terms of attacks. Heliolisk does have less sp att than Magnezone, but it has better speed. One downside would be that Heliolisk does not have as many resistances as Magnezone. It does have less weaknesses than Magnezone though. Anyways, off to breed.
-
Oh my god!! You guys are amazing! Thanks for the information!!! I am definitely sticking with Swampert, Reuniclus, Chandelure, and Scrafty. I've been training my Magnezone right now and its Hidden Power is Dragon. I think I will stick with the Heliolisk because of the surf. As for the sixth member, I narrowed the choices to Durant and Archeops. I can't figure out which to use. Both have their ups and downs. I am leaning more towards Archeops because it has better attack and I believe flying would be more useful to me than bug, but on the other hand Durant is nice because of its resistances and weaknesses. I was also wondering about Noivern, if it is useful or not. Again, thanks for all the info. I'm going to start breeding soon.
-
Thank you both for all the help!!! I am leaning more towards Magmortar or Chandelure right now. Also I am stuck between Gardevoir, Reuniclus, and Alakazam for my pyschic type. If you have any advice to sway my choice, I would appreciate it.
-
I'm willing to part with any of them except Scrafty. I like having him on my team.
-
I am training my new Magnezone right now. I plan to remove Hariyama for Magnezone. For the suggestions for Swampert, Avalanche sounds lovely, I should go breed some eggs. Same for Scrafty. Also if you have ANY suggestions for any changes to my team, please do tell me. Any suggestions for the Magnezone?
-
Both Camerupt and Simisear have very close att and sp att. I was looking for a Pokemon that specializes in one type of attacking. This is so the Pokemon has one high stat and not two somewhat good stats. An electric and steel type sounds perfect. I looked both of them over and found that Magnezone would be the better of the two. I just need to figure out its moveset and also train it properly. I still have to properly train the others. Also for Noivern, which one would be the best: http://postimg.org/gallery/2jmw4si7a/, I really don't want it to know "Cut," but I was wondering about the other two.
-
I don't feel like Typhlosion would be good because of its learnset. It can't learn many types of attacks. I was looking for a Pokemon that can learn multiples types of attacks, not just mostly fire.
-
I want get rid of Hariyama. He, like Etesian said, is not a good over all fighter. I also want to keep Scrafty on my team, if possible. I like the fighting and dark typing on it. Pyroar is my main concern. I was wondering if maybe a Chandelure might be a good idea. Any ideas?
