GROUP 1 (FREDERICK, SHELLY & KAI) *NPCs at the scene: Uno* WILD BATTLE PHASE CONTINUES ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Axew runs forward, swiping at the Crabrawler. Crit: 75,6 no crit Damage drops by 20% (Rivalry/different genders) /Crabrawler 2 receives 38 damage/ The scratch leaves shallow marks on the Crabrawler's shell, and Axew retreats safely, only to give space for Theodore to strike. Crit: 81,5 no crit /Crabrawler 2 receives 70 damage/ Axew's attack may have been weaker, but it left a perfect opening for Theodore to strike. His Tackle knocked the Crabrawler out swiftly. /Crabrawler 2 fainted/ Meanwhile, though, Kai's Aether Ball flew through the air and towards the other Crabrawler. It hit the target's head and shone blue for a moment as it opened to suck the Pokemon in. Falling down on the ground, it shook once as its signal grew red...then twice...and finally three times before it stopped shaking and its lights changed hue over to a softer and victorious green. "Congratulation, you seem to have successfully caught it." Uno speaks from the side as the battle ends. WILD BATTLE PHASE ENDS /Axew, Ante, Theodore gained 45 Exp/ Ante and Theodore leveled up-! /Kai has earned 10 EP for catching a Pokemon/ /Axew, Ante and Theodore have each gained 5 EP/ --------------------------------------------------------------- With the Crabrawlers handled, the Exeggcute are now safe. You take them over to the Exeggutor, but it doesn't seem content yet. You need to set off one last time. /The Space Aether Employees fully restore your Pokemon/ "There seem to be more of its children out there." Uno remarks, looking off into the distance. "But before that, how did it feel to catch a new Pokemon?" She turns to Kai with a faint smile. "Call her out to introduce herself. She might also need a name. It's important for a Pokemon to trust you." [One more Exeggcute remains. Will you proceed onto the final battle?] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GROUP 2 (SPLIT UP) CORRIDOR 4CATHODE *+ Zeta and Clarence* "Huh?" Zeta looks at Cathode in confusion before turning towards Clarence with a big smile on her face. "Oh, so you know what this is? It's so pretty~" The Clefairy seems to ignore the girl and instead focuses on Cathode. He can't speak but he places a hand over his mouth as if to act out a clearing of one's throat. He then points towards Cathode's A-Comm. He gestures as if talking on the phone with someone and then frowns while putting a finger over his upper lip. Moustache, perhaps? [Either way, Clarence seems to want Cathode to contact someone on the A-Comm.] The pantomime is, however, broken by Zeta's sudden gasp. At the exit of the corridor now stands a small figure of a Pokemon with gems for eyes. The Sableye leers at you, cackling in silence. Clarence turns to face it disinterestedly while Zeta beams up again. "Awwwwwww, you're one of Lumi's friends, aren't you!" She asks, clapping her hands together. "Did you get lost? You know Lumi came with us, right?" The Sableye is silent, staring at Zeta. [What will Cathode do? Your only way to leave is blocked by this Sableye. It might be too strong to beat with just you and Clarence here. Zeta seems to trust it, so maybe you should too..? Seems awfully suspicious, though. It might've been a trap.] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CORRIDOR 3 (EMM, RADOVAN) Emmanuel and Radovan start moving through the corridor to the west, but as soon as they take a few steps forward, their faces hit what appears to be a hard, rock, surface, and before them, all of a sudden, stands a wall that was, until now, obscured by darkness and the interference produced by the crystals. The duo cannot proceed down this path, but as they try to leave the way they entered, they hear what sounds like screeching and flapping of the wings from above. Before they know it, a group of Woobat is upon them-! Now that he had his guitar and stuff back, though, he didn't have a need for the key he was holding on to. He looked over to Rayne. "Heya Rayne, it's time for me to repay ya for my guitar. Take this key and go find your stuff." He said, throwing her the key. His guitar was all rearing to go. He grinned, stroking the chords as loud as he could. If there was anyone who hasn't heard them in the dungeon before that moment, now they definitely have. "Heh...a bit too loud, maybe. Whoops?" Move to O21, trade Chest Key to Rayne, Bard Idei and Bel

GROUP 1 (FREDERICK, SHELLY & KAI) *NPCs at the scene: Uno* "I was already aware of all the details, but I appreaciate the help either way." Uno smiles at you. "The Tree of Life is most likely the Core of this Nexus. I doubt the Aether Foundation informed you of it yet, but the Tree of Life might be corrupted. Can't you see, all around you...the lack of real life. Nonexistent death, only a permeating eternity. Nothing dies naturally, yet nothing lives naturally either. The camp has no provisions because nobody ever gets hungry here. You must've figured that if you're friends with Zeta, the girl found here. Let's go now, though. We should hurry and save the Exeggutor." Uno steps forward with these cryptic words addressed at you. Following Frederick, the group finds another batch of Exeggcute. These too, are being kept by a pair of feisty looking Crabrawler... Uno steps forward feebly and lets Lampy jump down from her arm. WILD BATTLE INITIATED ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lampy immediately releases a ball of electricity from its lanterns, shooting it with a swift motion at the helpless Crabrawlers. "Like ripples on water..." Lampy Action: Electro Ball on Crabrawler 1 (110 Power) Crit: 19,1 (no crit) /Crabrawler 1 receives 90 dmg/ The electricity strikes the Crabrawler with enormous force, sending it flying backwards towards the treeline. The other Crabrawler jumps at Lampy, readying its fist, while the wounded one keeps still. The Chinchou is punched backwards towards his master's feet and stands back up rather quickly, obviously just as unfazed as Uno. This intimidates the Crabrawler and it scurries towards its injured friend. Uno, however, turns to the party. "You've never caught a Pokemon, right? I think Lampy and I left that one in quite the position for you to make use of. Catch the Crabrawler if you so wish, I won't be mad." They find that the path branches out into a dead end and two other corridors. [The map of Floor -1 has been updated;] Red dot is Cathode and Zeta Blue dot is the Wailord crew Dirty yellow dot is Emm and Rad ----------------------------------------------------------- CORRIDOR 4 (CATHODE) *+ Zeta and Clarence* Cathode approaches the Morelull but the Pokemon doesn't seem to give a shit about her presence. It completely ignores her. "Let's go, Cathode! Mr. Terry, your Clefairy is adorable!" Zeta was walking around, poking and prodding Clarence the Clefairy. He seemed to be doing his best not to blast her away with an attack. Anyways, upon venturing into the corridor, Cathode and Zeta indeed come across a dead end. However, shining beneath the surface of the water, slightly differently from the sparkles within it, Zeta catches glimpse of something metallic and kneels down to pick it up curiously. Cathode wouldn't be able to see what Zeta is even searching for as the younger girl pushes her hand underneath the cold surface of the water and pulls out what appears to be a Mechamon of a Porygon-like Pokemon unknown to Cathode. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Zeta's eyes sparkle. "What is this!?" She holds it up above her head victoriously and brings it over to Cathode. "Cathode, Cathode, what is this!? What is it!? It's so cute and pretty!" [Clarence seems to be having something to say about it...but Zeta doesn't notice him as she's overtaken by finding the Mechamon. However, Cathode can opt to interact with Clarence about the issue if she so wishes.] ------------------------------------------------------------------ CORRIDOR 5 (KALVA, TAYLOR, SENA) *+ Terry* Terry lets out an annoyed sigh and walks up to Kalva and the gang wanting to go catch Wailords. "Iunno where you pulled the number 3, Kalva. I let Clarence go with the girls so I can't be of much help in a fight, but I want to make sure you guys are safe so I'm coming with you if nothing can change your mind about going. Either us 4 go or I'll stop you from going by force." He says, glaring at Kalva. If the boy was going to pull any more shennanigans that were going to make people leave him, this wasn't gonna end well. The others were way too submissive about letting Kalva have his way. Terry was gonna knock the boy out if the need arose. That's what his eyes said to Kalva as the large man stared him down. "...and besides Gina would kill me if anything happened to you, Kalva." The group so proceeds down the corridor. With each step, the water seems to be getting deeper and the area around them darker. Broken crystals line the walls, having lost their shine presumably when the Wailord trashed them. The corridor is also rather spacious on all sides, much more than any of the other corridors, once again, presumably because of Wailord. It lets out cries in intervals as they approach, and then.......... everyone slips and drops in water too deep for them to walk in anymore. Verna can remain airborne and Quina can sorta swim, but Morelull would need help staying afloat properly. "Yeesh. Everyone alright?" Terry asks. "It's not too late to turn around. The Wailord is close by but it's unsafe to approach it swimming. If it's panicked it might just think up to smash us against the wall..." [The corridor seems to be opening towards an underground pool of water...the party can still turn around and go back...]

Mere moments after Cass had so triumphantly played the chord and stomped onwards, something started bugging him, and nagging at him hard. Droplets of sweat poured down his face as he realized just how off his guitar had just resounded. Holding it in his hands as if it was broken beyond repair, Cass's eyes teared up and his cheeks grew red. He wiped his eyes and a frown was all that was left. "Fuckin' idiots messed with my guitar!" He shouted in rage. "I gotta tune it all over again. Fuckin'............I'm sorry baby, we'll not be playing just yet. Lemme just string you up all good and dandy...no worries...don't worry about anything..." Move to P17, tune the guitar... "Yes honey. All will be well soon. We'll play again. I missed you too. I'll clean your surface and I'll tune you reeeeeeeeeal smooth after we get out." He came between Myrdwyn and Clarisse in the meantime. "Nothin' to see here, gals." He retorted before continuing to stroke his guitar and slowly but finely tuning it. ...tuning means barding, yes (Myrd and Clar).

GROUP 1 (FREDERICK, SHELLY & KAI) *NPCs at the scene: Uno* "I need to see the Tree of Life. It can help bring health and happiness to anyone. I was also sent to confirm its location. I cannot disclose who sent me, though." Uno responded promptly, nodding to Shelly as she did so. Lampy's lanters flared up from time to time in accordance to Uno's voice, like ripples on the water. Uno turned to Kai when she approached them. "I came before you, actually. I snuck on a Nexus Drill. Nobody noticed me. People were still in disarray from when the Nexus emerged yesterday. My clothes are just that, my clothes. I don't have a uniform, if that is what worries you. I only carry Lampy's Aether Ball with me at this moment." She turned back to Shelly. "If you want to go with them, I'll ofer my help, Shelly. That way, we can look for the Tree of Life together after we're done with whatever you're doing." [Will Shelly go with Kai? If so, only Strider needs to post, and I'll assume the group went with Frederick. Events will be initiated accordingly.] Shelly's A-Comm buzzes and a rough voice speaks through, muffled by static. "Hello, Shelly, it's Terrence speaking. We've descended into the underground so the connection is weaker. I'll patch Zeta up to you when she gets down here, all right? But the Tree of Life? That's a weird thing to ask about. I didn't think you guys knew about the legends...anyways, I'll give Zeta to you now. Zeta, it's Shelly on the Communicator. She wants to talk to you." "Mr. Terry? Oh! Shelly!" The familiar voice speaks through. It's Zeta's. "So you wanna know about the Tree of Life? Sure, I'll tell ya! But wait, is Kai with you too? Hi, Kai! It's super wet down here, you should come over as soon as you're done with whatever you're doing! Wait....what were we talking about? Oh, right, the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is at the center of this world. It makes everything in it alive! Without it, everything would disappear. It can cure stuff, heal wounds, lets you grow up big and strong, and it's sparkly and shiny! It looks like a...uhm...Mr. Terry, what's the name of that letter? Oh, right, it's shaped like a 'Y'! That's what Father always said, hehe~" Zeta closes with a giggle. "Since we're undeground, we're probably close to it. If you're looking for it too, you should come undeground as well! You just need to follow where there's a lot of water, because the Tree of Life is the source of the water." "So it's undeground?" Uno says, placing her hand on her chin in thought. "I'll go with you now, and we'll go underground as well afterwards." She smiles. ------------------------------------------------------------ GROUP 2 (EMM, RADOVAN, KALVA, CATHODE, SENA) *NPCs at the scene: Terry, Zeta* Zeta winks at Kalva and holds a thumbs up. "I can climb down, don't worry!" She says as she jumps and grabs onto the rope with her elbows and knees, sliding down into the abyss with a smile on her face and a laugh which reverberates against the crystalline walls. The Morellul climbs onto Taylor and keeps quiet as they descend. Down there, Terry was about to respond to Cathode when his A-Comm buzzed twice. He opened it to find a image taken from above, sent to him by Radovan. Everyone else receives the image as well. Terry looks up, but only sighs. "Self control. Gotta have self control." He clears his throat, arm and brow twitching, and holds the A-Comm up to his face, replying to Shelly. When Zeta comes down, he hands the A-Comm to her instead, and while she talks to Shelly and Kai, he kneels down to be closer to face-to-face with Cathode. "I agree with you, Cathode. You can go check the corridor." He picks an Aether Ball from his belt and throws it out. A pink fluffy Clefairy jumps out of it with a boom and lands in front of Cathode. "Clare will keep you safe if a problem arises, and we're all close by anyways. I need to wait for the others to come down as well." "I'll come with you too, Cathode!" Zeta adds. "Let's go!" Verna's Supersonic echoes through the corridor. She hears it bouncing off a watery surface much deeper than what they were standing in. Perhaps there's a pool of water in that direction, or the cave just drops downwards? Either way, only moments later, a much louder echo comes from the direction in which Verna used her Supersonic. It's an echo of a whale, and Sena's A-Comm, already open on Wailmer and Wailord's pages, recognizes it as Wailord's cry. Terry turns and runs over to the corridor. "It's in the distance and it sounds pained... I doubt it can move through the shallow water and enclosed space here, but it's still a Wailord." A droplet of sweat rolls down his brow. "We should continue on. We can call someone to check on it later." You can hear in his voice he probably wants to help it. He's also probably concerned for you guys as well so he doesn't want to put you in unnecessary danger by going to help the Wailord. ------------------------------------------------------------ RADOVAN *talking with Ray* Radovan's A-Comm buzzes. "Hoya, Radovan! Nice pic you sent me!" He hears the sound of teeth being brushed, the gurgling of water, and someone spitting into a sink. "Just a sec, I'm still getting ready for the day, hehe. So you're on a mission? If you've found a hole, great! I'll inform everyone at HQ. You can go investigate, I'm pretty shure. You have Terry with you anyways. No worries, no biggie. 'Neeways, get back to you in a jiffy. Bye!" The connection breaks.

SHELLY *NPCs at the scene: Betani, Uno* "O-oh?" Uno placed a hand over her mouth and Lampy's lanters lit up as he looked at Shelly intently. "You'll help me? Not the other way around? How...curious. But I should be thankful. Lampy and I are looking for the source of life in this Nexus. The fabled Tree of Life. I thought perhaps the people around here knew more, but I was wrong. Not many have even heard of the legend past the bedtime stories they were told. Do you know where the Tree resides?" ------------------------------------------------------------ GROUP 1 (KAI, FREDERICK) *NPCs at the scene: Employee* The Exeggutor looks down at the Exeggcute the Cadets placed near its roots and nods with a slight ruffle of its leaves. It then looks into the distance where the party retrieved the first Exeggcute. Perhaps there were more? If you followed the tracks, you would surely stumble upon some more kidnapped Exeggcute. Will you do it? [Betani is free to be interacted with. Shelly and Uno are free to be interacted with.] -Ask for help?- ------------------------------------------------------------ GROUP 2 (EMM, RADOVAN, KALVA, CATHODE, SENA) *NPCs at the scene: Terry, Zeta* The Morellul shakes its head at Taylor and nudges his foot before pointing with its head towards the hole. Taylor would understand that the Morellul doesn't want to go into a ball just yet...first the Cadet would need to carry it down. The Pokemon's obviously urging for an adventure. [Solosis's Snatch didn't do anything] Zeta rushes over to Kalva's help, grabbing hold of Radovan's legs to at least somewhat ease the burden the boy was carrying. She gave him a reassuring smile and a thumbs up as she did so, and together they made their way over to the sinkhole. Zeta looks at Radovan confusedly, not sure what to do with the unconcious boy now. "Hey Kalva, Emmanuel? What should we do with him?" She looked up at the boys, asking the question. "We can't just leave him here alone and we gotta go down there." [How will you wake Radovan up? A jab could do...but the crystals Kalva collected still radiate energy. If that energy can bring life and managed to make Meggie go berserk...then maybe?] The hole itself was quite...oddly shaped looking at it. Sena would've had gotten the best view from Verna's video, so he was the one who best knew the shape. It looked like a huge, aquatic, almost whale-like Pokemon had falled from above and crushed the ground. This might've happened yesterday when the Nexus emerged and merged with the smaller Micro Grid. The trees around it grew and crystallized, intertwining their roots and branches to hide the hole beneath a sea of glow. Suzie couldn't have seen it while breaking through the trees. Thankfully, she was all right, and Cathode would see just that when she climbed down into the hole. Her Pokemon was unharmed, but wet. In fact, they were all standing ankle-deep in cold, sparkling water whose glow, along with the glow of the surrounding crystals protruding through the rocky walls, illuminated the cavern from within. "Seems like we've found the underground caverns." Terry remarkes, ruffling his beard with a finger. "We'll have to be careful as we proceed, our A-Comm's can't scan this level completely because of the crytstal's energy's interference." Klaren stood dumbfounded for a minute as the thunder struck around him. He hadn't really noticed it, it had sort of just...totally bent around him. Maybe Terrin was aiming it? Either way, as Klaren raised a finger in a moment of eureka on what he was gonna do next, his hair stood on ends too, electrified by the leftover static. "Hehe! You're funny, lady, but we've gotta kill you now. Sorry, wall, but you're in the way~" He said as he pulled his tome out and shot a beam of light at the wall. "Guys, help me break it down so we can go help the others!" Move to D7, attack Wall 2 with Lightning

"Rayne." Cass closed his eyes as he pushed himself up to his knees. He stood before her in a silhuette of a knight about to be...well...knighted, solemn and at piece on the outside, but burning up on the inside. He accepted the guitar gracefully, holding it firmly in his hands once again. It felt unhinging to have it back. Cass could feel it building up from inside as he stood up. A finger found its way over to its strings, a flicker of light that of the thunder's echoing roar. Electricity shot through the guitar, shot through the man as well, and snapped the hairtie that kept his ponytail at bay. "Thanks, Rayne. I owe ya." He looked at her and grinned. Turning back away from her, he looked down the hall. "Now let's go find all our other stuff and get the hell OUT OF HERE!!!"

Cass's eyes sparked. Through the darkness, in the damp dungeon, in the direction Belros and the airheaded girl went...Cass smelled it. Smelled it through the mold, smelled it through all the musty shit left behind by prisoners long gone...the smell of sweet wooden melody, slightly charred by the lightning but still very much flexible. Black varnish, painted with flames, coating the guitar, and the smell of very very old paper on which the forgotten song of protection was inscribed upon. He rushed without much though towards Rayne, but as he did so, halfway there, he slipped over a puddle of something he better not think about. The scene. Casserole's face flung downwards as his arms flailed around, and in the next moment his nose was smashed against the hard floor of the dungeon. With the last of his strength, he feebly raised a hand to Rayne. "G-guitar..." Move to R14; FALL DOWN; request GUITAR from Rayne

"O-oh!" Mommo shivered in her seat when she heard Ram's voice. She turned her head away from Aries. What he was saying was really making her feel better about everything. It reassured her that someone was rooting for her. She glanced over her shoulder to look at the thing saying all these things, revealing her face was just as red as Aries's. The red pendant reflected in her eyes. Aries's mech and partner. The Giant was silent. She never bothered installing an AI that could do more than fight into it. These two were like friends, though. She hadn't noticed, but she was sitting facing Aries again, resting her palms upon the chair next to herself. "Nice to..nice to meet you." She said to Ram, turning to Aries instead. "I'll let you know if you need to put him away." Mommo gave a slight smile to the man, returning to her silence. The chair was squirming under her. She didn't quite know what to do but she still enjoyed this.

SHELLY *NPCs at the scene: Betani, ???* The woman and Betani exchange a short sideways glance as they pass by each other, clear enough for Shelly to notice it. It sends shivers down her spine for some reason, but when she calls out to the azure woman, she points at herself confusedly and turns to face the girl. "Good day, Shelly, my name is Unoppiae." The woman speaks in a soft voice. Now that Shelly is closer to her, she sees that the woman looks almost as thin as bone, but is quite a bit taller than Shelly herself. Her complexion is pale and her eyes barely open. Yet she smiles all the same as her Chinchou jumps into her hands happily. "This is Lampy. You are one of the Cadets here. If you need anything from me, just ask. I'm here to look for something, but I'll help regardless." -------------------------------------------------------------------------- GROUP 1 (KAI, FREDERICK) *NPCs at the scene: Employee* Kai, Frederick and the Employee make their way back up the hill and towards the Exeggutor. They can see Shelly there talking to a strange woman whose clothes don't match the uniforms of the Space Aether. The moment they walk closer to the Exeggutor, it shifts its head towards them. Looking up, they can see it intently staring down at the eggs in their arms. What will the group do? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- GROUP 2 (EMM, RADOVAN, KALVA, CATHODE, SENA) *NPCs at the scene: Terry, Zeta* Radovan's attempt to approach the Morelull is met with the little mushroom shaking its head wildly. Radovan starts feeling drowsy and it becomes difficult for him to walk. Soon, he finds himself passed out on the ground, with the Morelull looking over to Taylor instead. [Radovan is asleep] Verna flies up under Sena's guidance. Terry approaches Sena and offers him his A-Comm.It's covered in stickers of various cute Pokemon. "You can use this to receive the video feed from your A-Comm." The large man says, pressing a couple of commands before the image of the above view of the forest appears on the screen. And it is simply marvelous to witness. The glowing trees form a translucent, multicolores sea, constantly shifting as if it's breathing. The trees are veins through which the blood of this world flows freely, feeding all life with the pure essence of the same. That is what this Nexus is-different from all the rest. Music: Forgotten olds, beautiful news Terry's eyes light up at the scene in the video. "It's quite marvelous." He mutters. Meanwhile, the video captures the still green area of forest surrounded by slowly crystallizing trees. The greenery has grown to form a wooden dome around the well. It looks thick and as hard as the rest of the environment, despite still being organic. One side of the rock they were going towards is also ensnared by the tree dome. When Verna turns toward the rampaging Suzie, though, she notices a large hole, round and dark within, the trees have grown around and the Onyx didn't notice. Suzie is going straight towards the hole, but it's already too late. As Suzie breaks through the trees, the ground close to the hole starts crumbling and the Onys plummets down into the darkness! The sound of ground crumbling beneath Suzie's weight resounds through the Nexus. Shuzie has, however, formed a path through the trees for the others to follow her, and in following her to the hole, the party sees that it is too deep for them to see the Onyx anymore. They can, however, hear Suzie and she doesn't sound hurt. Terry rushes over to Cathode and Verna flies down back to Sena. "Don't worry, she sounds fine. I know how a hurt Pokemon's cry rumbles." Terry says to Cathode. "We need to follow down, though. There's no telling what is there with her." He pulls an Escape Rope out of his A-Comm and ties it around one of the healthy looking crystal trees. "I'll go first to check out if anything dangerous is there." He says before throwing the other end of the rope inside and climbing down into the darkness. After a minute or so, the party hears a splashing sound and Terry's dissatisfied groan. "It's wet here, but it's fine. I don't see anything wrong, and Suzie is fine. Come down, guys, I'll catch ya if you fall." [Follow Terry?] [btw, Radovan is still asleep] The Morelull turns to Taylor, seemingly wanting to be carried down. Taylor can assume it won't let out its spores at him, since it's asking for help anyways.

"Oi, you, tarot girl!" Cass waved over to Selia. He saw her pick up a key earlier. He wanted that key. "Say, ya seem to be doing battle stuff anyways, so lemme just borrow that key ya got, kay? I just wanna find my stuff." Move to O14, trade with Selia for the Chest Key

"I-it's nothing, really.........................." Ranga meeked through sealed lips, shifting in spot. Of course Beverly would notice her discomfort...she looked up at the girl, cheeks blushing. She felt awkward in a position like this, age drifting in the limbo of puberty. She'd gotten used to joined showers, that was the world they lived in, but still, someone actively provoking in this manner was new. And Kyou seemed to be uncomfortable as well. Ranga decided to play safe and rubbed a knuckle against her eye, grinning. "Y-yeah soap got into my eyes. It stings." Her eyes drifted towards Asuka. The redhead didn't sit well with young Ranga. There was still hostility in her voice and her poise. She somehow seemed as if she didn't belong in the room with them, distanced from Ranga not by body like Beverly, but by mind. Thinking about it sent shivers down the young girl's back.

Move to M11

Ranga frowned at Asuka, her eyes flaring with whatever bile was rising from within. And when she released her voice, it echoed, unhinged. "Don't swear!" The girl yelled at the redhead, turning her heel and walking into the showers without another word. Truthfully, how did she know it was over? Asuka was telling the truth...and she didn't want to go back to fighting them...at least, well...not like this. If she could learn, then maybe. "Eeeeep." She meekly stepped away from the older girls when their boob-talk began. Her back straightened up as a plank and her cheeks shyed away, reddening. She hoped they didn't hear her yelp as she let the water drop upon her.

The Troubadour rushed towards the grounded Wyvern Rider, her face awash with worry. She didn't even think twice before deciding on what to do next-heal him, and heal him good. Completely ignoring Marcus nearby who'd already helped Marek up, and also all the enemies, she shone her healing staff up above her head, reflecting the sky, the sea and the sun. "M-mr. Marek, hang in there, I-I'm here for you now!" Move to J23, 'Heal' Marek

The only feeling existing in Ranga as she exited the Evangelion was pure childish joy. She had already convinced herself that a little flesh showing from the damaged Evas didn't mean they weren't robots, and she'd already made sure the Angel was dead and all of them were all right, so what was there not to be happy about? She practically waltzed through the checkups with a big smile on her face and entered the changing room happy as can be. She put her soaked clothes away tidily whenever they were supposed to put them, her form that of a developing child, nothing spectacular or special about her. Small, innocently budding brests layered under her first simple bra without any straps and whatnot. She tapped her feet eagerly as she followed Satomi into the showers. "..." She was silent at Asuka's question, but stopped in her tracks immediately. The red girl's antagonistic attitude towards them was apparent and it made Ranga frown a bit. "N-nobody thought it would be cool! We just didn't want anyone to be hurt. Besides, it's over now! We've beaten the Angel and we can live here peacefully from now on!"

SHELLY *NPCs at the scene: Betani* Shelly, doing her work assisting the Employees, sees a flustered, bushed and apparently angry Betani climb up the hill and towards their base. The girl is carrying her Steenee in her arms, the Pokemon happily chirping as it was carried. She stomps her way towards Shelly. "Your stupid friends went down there to try and help this damn tree! If you want to find them, you can just go. They're useless in battle, almost got their Pokemon hurt." She basically yells it all out in a single breath, pointing in the way she came from. "The rest are actually doing something productive by looking for a way underground. They went the other way down." Another girl would catch Shelly's attention...a young woman wearing a too large buttoned dress dragging behind her on the floor. Her hair is the azure shade of blue, and her stature looks frail. She seems to be working with the Aether Employees, but isn't of much help gathering samples. Her Pokemon seems to be a Chinchou following her every step. No wonder she can't help break the crystals around here with a Pokemon like that. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GROUP 1 (KAI, FREDERICK) *NPCs at the scene: Employee* The Employee nods to Kai and goes to pick up two of the other Eggs. "W-whoa...they're really heavy...miss how do you do that so easily?" He glances up at her. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GROUP 2 (EMM, RADOVAN, KALVA, CATHODE, SENA) *NPCs at the scene: Terry, Zeta* Radovan's Aether Ball bounces against the Morelull's head and the Pokemon is sucked into it without a hitch. Except...only moments later...the Aether Ball breaks apart and the mushroom emerges, looking back at Radovan confusedly. Roll: 65,3 no catch "Do you even know how to catch Pokemon?" Terry asks the young man. "It's more difficult than it seems. And it won't always work. If you want to catch the Pokemon, you need to defeat it in battle for a best shot at catching it or befriend it so that it willingly accepts you catching it. There are other tricks, but that's the jist." The large man explains. "If you wish...you can challenge the Morelull now. Or we can let it be and see if it follows us? Maybe it'll come to trust you. It seems to be interested in you, at the very least." [Radovan's choice: Battle?/Let it be?] [Cathode and Suzie can start breaking the trees] [Group 2 can opt to challenge the Morelull colony]

GROUP 1 (KAI, FREDERICK) *NPCs at the scene: Betani, Employee* ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Crabrawler, panicked over its partner's defeat, doesn't have enough time or cool to properly react to Theodore and Ante's attacks. Both attacks hit and the Crabrawler is sent thumbling backwards. In one final attempt to fight back, it readies its fist and punches towards Theodore as the Pokemon colides with it. Crabrawler 2 Action: Rock Smash at Theodore (100 power); super effective The attack would've surely knocked Theodore out cold, but thankfully, Betani was there to intervene. [Betani activated Technician Lv1; Nee is acting with priority] "Don't take this the wrong way." Nee propelled herself forwards, her master commandeering her in just the right moment. She came from the Crabrawler's side, attempting to knock her foot straight into its abdomen. Nee Action: Stomp (priority) at Crabrawler 2 (85 power) Nee's attack succesfully lands and knocks the second Crabrawler out before it could hurt Theodore. The Pokemon falls on a pile together with its partner in crime and the battle is over. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wild Battle over. ... Theodore and Ante both earned 30 Exp and 5 EP ... Nee jumps back into Betani's arms and snuggles up to the girl. Betani herself appears displeased and glares intently at you. "You idiots! You just went barging in! Who taught you how to battle? How can you put your Pokemon at such risk? That Stufful of yours would've been done for had I not interfered. You need to weigh the situation better!!!" She screams at Frederick, but neither Kai is spared a hateful stare. "I'm going now. This little joyride was a complete waste of time. You two are free to continue your little egg hunt. I'm sure my colleague here won't spare you any assistance." She pats the comfused Aether Employee on the shoulder and walks back up the hill. [Betani has left the scene] "So...uhm...I'll heal your Pokemon now..." [Theodore and Ante's HP has been fully restored.] "We should do something about the Exeggcute they were gonna eat. Maybe we should bring it back to the Exeggutor?" The man politely suggests, obviously wanting to get away from the battles. [Objective; return the first Exeggcute to the Exeggutor] *note: that's also where Betani is* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ GROUP 2 (EMM, RADOVAN, KALVA, CATHODE) *NPCs at the scene: Terry, Zeta* Taylor's attempt to communicate with the mushrooms strangely actually yields results. One of the Pokemon raises its head towards Taylor and the others follow suit, all focusing on the young man aaaaaaaaaaaaaand Radovan who had sneaked up next to him. They eye Radovan suspiciously... There is an entire colony of them there and honestly, Taylor was right when he said there wasn't enough energy here and that they should move. Where, though? That was the question. Suzie can't dig a hole in the hard ground no matter how much she tries, rendering Cathode's plans moot. "Oh! You wanna get them to move?" Zeta chirps. "If they're feeding off the energy, I think I can lure them away. Watch this!" For the first time, Zeta grabs the little pouch dangling from her wrist and opens it, pushing a hand into it deeper than what its size would suggest. When she pulls it back out, there's a translucent, glowing small shard of crystal in her hand. "Oh! So the rumors were true! All of these are actually Star Pieces!?" Terry looks at it in awe, comparing it to the rest of the crystals there. Zeta nods at him. "Yeah! I collect the ones that fall at night before they can merge with the ones growing from the Tree of Life. Anyways, I'll just place them here and here..." The girl starts pulling more and more Star Pieces out of her pouch and arranging them in a line leading to the other side of the path. The Morelull, one by one, slowly start shying away from their used up habitat and following the line. The sight is strangely tantalizing to behold. A line of small mushrooms, glowing like the stars above them and the trees around them, migrating across the forest path. Zeta watches them with sparkles in her eyes and hands joined at her chest. Soon after, the crystal trees have cleared up from all the mushroom Pokemon that have relocated themselves where Zeta had led them. The path is now cleared for Suzie to crush the trees if she so wishes. One of the Morelull, however, stayed, staring at Radovan. ... [What will Radovan do?]

Cass was too busy brooding to be a part of the conversation. For all she'd said to Belros, Emilee said it better, and besides, he hardly felt like indulging any further while they were in this shithole. Some form of latent resentment had formed within him, a bulging sliver of doubt he'd had for this crew from the start and that he just couldn't shake no matter how hard he tried, it blossomed now that they were all gonna die or worse soon anyways. So when he noticed some gleaming light on the other side of his eyelids, he thought it was someone with a lamp. A very very shiny lamp. It wasn't, though. "Wait, what the heck happened?" He shot up to his feet and skittered out of the cell, tiptoeing like an idiot. "Who did this? Can't be the cap'n no matter what he says. Err, no offense, Cap'n." Cass gave a sheepishly apologetic grin to Madante before moving on, following the crew. The pile had no instruments and suddenly, he felt all too useless as a wave of disappointment washed over him. "Guess I'll just do nothing, then." He sighed and was back to brooding again. Move to O5, Hold

TAYLOR Taylor asks around and one of the Aether Employees leads him inside to where they've pretty much cleared out all the furniture and moved it god knows where, leaving only the walls, and replaced it with various apparatures that looked like machines used for testing stuff and whatnot. On one wall, a map of the Nexus dungeon was projected. "The variety of Pokemon found in the Nexus has drastically increased when it merged with the Micro Grid. As such there's no certain way to tell what Pokemon are where, but generally speaking the area around us has been merged specifically with a tropical Micro Nexus, so you could expect water type Pokemon that don't require bodies of water around them at all times like Wingull and Crabrawler around here. And the way the rest of your friends went, there was a woodland Nexus that merged, so Bug and Grass types are prevalent in that direction, like Weedles and Oddishes."

[The Party has split up; the upper red dot is Group 1; the lower red dot is Group 2] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GROUP 1 (KAI, FREDERICK) *NPCs at the scene: Betani, Employee* "Sure, Kai! I'll go help the others while you help Exeggutor!" Zeta's voice is full of vigor as she waves to Kai and Betani, running off towards the Wishing Well and Emmanuel's group. [Zeta has left Group 1 and joined Group 2] "Where are you rushing off to!?" Betani screams after Frederick and Kai, but follows them anyways, giving no attention to Zeta splitting up from the group except from a disgruntled frown she sends in the young girl's direction. The Employee follows as well, throtting behind with his A-Comm in hand. What the group finds at the end of the tracks is a set of six eggs. The Space Aether Employee raises his A-Comm and yelps. "I-it's an Exeggcute!" He places his hand over his mouth while Betani sighs annoyedly. "You idiot, it's unconcious. What're you even worried about?" And truth be told, the Exeggcute was knocked out, its eggs all rolled to the side, eyes closed. "God, you non-Cadet personnel are useless. You don't know a damn about Pokemon. I haven't got a clue why you're even sticking with us while we're going about the place. But wait...if they're knocked out...then...ggggh, everyone, watch out!" Roll: 4 YOU'VE BEEN AMBUSHED! INITIATING WILD BATTLE! [Betani and Nee are supporting you!] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The two Crabrawler jump out of the trees at you, swinging their crabby fists in your direction. Immediately reacting to them, you call upon your partners and Betani does too. Your Pokemon block the attacks, but not without suffering some damage from the unexpected assault. Action: ambush on Nee, Theodore and Anté (100 Power/halved 50) Nee suffered 30 dmg Theodore suffered 20 dmg Anté suffered 40 dmg ... The two Crabrawler land in between the unconcious Exeggcute and you, staring you down with fearsome glimmer in their eyes. They're not gonna let you take their prey. Although, you can see a hint of hesitation in them. This environment is new to them, and they're probably not yet acclimated to the fact they don't need to eat anything here. This confusion shows on them as they do not yet realize what's going on. Betani wastes no time as she commands Nee to rush forwards against the two Pokemon, jumping between them and spinning, releasing translucent leaves from underneath her fruity body at the one to the left, enveloping it in a flurry it couldn't escape. "I'm not wasting my time with you!" Nee Action: Magical Leaf on Crabrawler 1 (102 Power) Crabrawler was completely overwhelmed and falls on the back of its shell. The other Crabrawler starts panicking as it looks at Kai's Shinx and Betani's Steenee, while Nee jumps back down to her team's side. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ... If we find the Pokemon, we'll find the right way." Terry nods to Emmanuel, just as Cathode, Kalva and Zeta arrive, along with Suzie. From high up, Cathode sees the clearing. It's located not to far away, a haven of greenery in an endless sea of unnatural glow of the crystalline trees. She has trouble seeing any paths at all leading there except what appears to be a giant rock to the side of the location. What she also found out was that the location they were headed to hasn't yet been affected by the Nexus, so they were good on that side. Kalva, on the other hand, notices something out of the ordinary. In the corner of his eye, deep among the glow of the trees to the side, he notices a different kind of glow. It's fairly unnoticable, what with everything else glowing as well, but it's very clearly there, and it's alive, unlike everything else of this world. And merely looking at it is enough to make Kalva slightly drowsy, as would any other being glancing at them feel. A colony of glowing mushrooms adorn the crystalline trees to the side, masking themselves in their light as they feed upon the life energy surging through their cores. Their roots have made the crystals frail as they fed on their energy, easily crushing them. The trees to the side seem easily breakable, and surely Suzie would be able to clear a path. These mushrooms, though, are Pokemon...and crushing Pokemon was out of question. So...the group had to figure out a way to get them to move? They appeared content sucking on the trees' energy... [How will Group 2 proceed?]

The whole world stopped as Ranga glanced to the side to notice Kyou's Eva by her own, and it moved in frames as she pushed the hand down, something telling her to go for the crack already formed by the other's knife. Black on white, soundless, until a crack broke it, and the world around it as well. The young girl's body flinched as it was flung back into full speed, gasping in exhilleration, torso leaning forwards over the dead fallen Angel. They'd somehow done it, and she found herself in the same position as her Eva, except with her leaning over the controls in the plug. The Eva didn't move. "I-I'm alive too! A-and the Angel's dead, I suppose!" Ranga chimed in happily. Her heart was racing but she felt calmer already. She didn't know what Satomi thought when she asked to check if the Angel was dead, but she gladly agreed anyways and pushed her Eva back to its feet, the controls feeling wonky once again. She kneeled and tried poking the Angel's body. "..? You're dead, right?" The others were already taking care of Asuka and Ahmed. She loosened up further as she saw them help them up. They were fine now and could finally live happily on this new planet, right~?
