You guys seem to have forgotten to put Leech Seed on the banned move list. It should go without saying, but still good to close any potential loopholes.

I'll be a bit too busy with work and family this week to battle. I'll try and brush up on battling for Week 7, however!

Hate is often seen as a powerful, negative force, but it certainly does not have to be so, as it can be a strong, character-building force for a person. As with any emotion emitted towards another, any person may perceive and respond to it in a different fashion from the next. And this is a rather important point specifically on the subject of hatred, because while most are wounded or pained by hatred, there are those who are forged under its influences and grow stronger from it. The ability to survive and adapt in the face of absolute adversity in its rawest form- hatred- is invaluable. It is unreasoning, unrelenting, and often illogical and rooted in misconceptions, but true hate will not waver in the face of a well constructed argument because the person emitting the hate, the "hater," refuses to give into what they perceive as wrong, so the ability to triumph over this adversity and hatred is what can truly separate those who can change the world from those who would crumble in the face of the hatred they will inevitably encounter. By forcing one's self to endure and triumph over hatred, they will, in time, grow in strength and be able to more easily rise to life's challenges. and now if you try to argue with me, I'll just say you're hating be being illogical and unrelenting lol

So, I have two sets to go through here: one from my Week 1 team and one from my Week 5 team. Week 1: LC (Swinub) @ Focus Sash Ability: Oblivious EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Stealth Rock - Ice Shard - Earthquake - Endeavor The fun thing about this Pokemon is that is it basically Lead Mamoswine, except better. Better how, you might ask? Well Swinub has base 50 HP whereas Mamo has base 110 HP, so right off the bat, Swinub can easily do massive damage with Endeavor. Adamant and EQ to be able to handle things like Mega Diance leads, rocks just to whittle the opposing team and break sashes, and Ice Shard obviously to pick off foes when you Endeavor them to 1 HP when your sash is triggered. All in all, a very fun Pokemon that would have no viable competitive role outside of Pokenations. Week 5: Arthur (Nidoking) @ Life Orb Ability: Sheer Force EVs: 40 Atk / 252 SpA / 216 Spe Naive Nature - Ice Beam - Stealth Rock - Earth Power - Superpower This thing was my MVP this week, easily. It ended up taking out three different Pokemon, all of which were massive threats to my team (Pory2, Cloyster, and Donphan, in that order). I didn't use Sludge Wave because there was no point when Earth Power hit everything grounded and Ice Beam hit everything else. Stealth Rocks are not often seen on Nidoking, but he is a surprisingly solid user of them because he forces so many switches. I was originally debating between the King and the Queen, but I'm very glad I chose the King with the comparison between the results between the damage my opponent's LO Nidoqueen was doing when compared to my LO Nidoking. The Attack EVs are designed to guarantee a 2HKO on Blissey with Superpower, after accounting for the Attack drop. As long as it doesn't have Protect or you have rocks up, or you get a nice roll, then it will die. These Attack EVs and their results were a coincidence as I had originally just had them as leftovers from lowering Nidoking's speed to outspeed all max speed base 80s, most notably Mamoswine, Stoutland, and Glalie.

I agree with Delphox having the best. Fire/Psychic allows you to hit all three rivals' main types (Victoria's Fighting, Cain's Poison, and Fern's Grass) for super-effective STAB damage. It can easily dispatch some of the hardest gyms currently in the game (the Grass gym, the Poison gyms, the Fighting gyms, and the ever annoying Ice gym).

It's not strictly impossible to obtain it in-game legally... but it does require considerable skill (or luck) as rare Pokemon in Reborn are sometimes the rewards for winning difficult community events and challenges. So if you want a Pokemon that is not normally obtainable through gameplay (yet) then go ahead and try to be as involved in the community events as you can be.

I should be free to battle this week, no problem. I look forward to using those damn Fairies against them.
