    Feel like making someone rage quit? Set up to +4 with your Mega Gallade while your opponent sacks a Pokémon to bring in their Talonflame. Then, go for the +4 Feint and knock out their Talonflame after SR.

      Feint has 2+ Priority, so it beats Gale Wings.

    You also might try buying Cotton Candy from the Circus Vendors, as they are the equivalent of Revives.

    Well, yes and no. Sure, the mons and the moves stay the same, but you will need to adapt items, abilities, and EV spreads to match your particular need for the leader. Granted, you do have a considerable amount of time while you are queued (even if you're the first person, you've sitll got a half-an hour to prepare) so you should have these modifications done by the time it's your turn anyway.

      I don't either, but Juuzou linked an article the other day that smosh put out that listed a couple of the top Pokémon fan-games. So it was pretty much what you expected on there: Reborn, Rejuv, Insurgence, and Zeta/Omnicom

    I really love learning about the histories of things we see often, yet take for granted. Like traditions, inventions, or Reborn, for instance. It just really lets you admire that thing in a whole new way.

    I like double-elimination because it can help alleviate some of the sting of losing to hax. It's like when you take statistical data, the bigger the sample space, the more accurate the date tends to become over an infinite number of occurences. Granted, we can't really do that with battling, but still, doubling your sample space should ideally allow for more dependable results.

    Yeah I see what you mean, I found that one too. I'm just going to stop looking these things up cause it kinda takes away some of the magic of it, ya know? On the other hand. I'll finally be able to play Se7en tomorrow at some point, so that's certainly a plus!

    Read at your own risk, as spoilers are here: While this isn't the original-original post, I do believe it is relevant the Pokémon in question. Tbh, I mostly just looked for this because a challenge was issued. I didn't actually care about the spoilers all that much. The Alien comment that Tomas made was what told me I was onto something.

    I wouldn't recommend using your Water Stone on either yet, as both still have many moves they should learn before they evolve. Granted, they will be considerably weaker, but it'll be better in the long run.

    As someone who loves Ludicolo, I wouldn't necessarily recommend Lotad as this point in the game because to actually get decent moves on it, you have to wait absolute ages. Lotad itself shouldn't evolve until level 30 to get Giga Drain, its best Grass move. Then, Lombre shouldn't evolve until level 44, when it gets Hydro Pump to replace Bubble Beam, since otherwise you're stuck with Bubble Beam until Surf comes along. Ludicolo is awesome and all, but it really is a pain to train.

      No, the chance to succeed is cut in half each time.

      First try - 100%

      Second try - 50%

      Third try - 25%

      Fourth try - 12.5%

      Fifth try - 6.25%

      Sixth try - 3.125%

      Seventh try - 1.5625%

      Eighth try and beyond (it stops decreasing after eight) - 0.78125%

      The counter resets if it fails or if you use another move. Not sure if it resets if you use an item on the Pokemon.

      First is 100% chance to work, second is 50%, the third is 25%, ect. So to get all three is a 12.5% chance, or it'll happen 1 out of 8 attempts. To put that in perspective, you have a 2.4x higher chance of landing a Sheer Cold.

    So I've got some more Pokémon you can add to your usable list, with reasons for each: Darmanitan: availible as statues around Desert Resort in BW (ancient guardians) Aegislash: sword and sheild of ancient kings Wailord: required to obtain the Regis in Hoenn, thus implied to be ancient enough to be around when the Regis were sealed. Bronzong: look at the Pokédex entries. It supposedly was an ancient rain summoner Spiritomb: the sealed soul of ancient evils. spoopy. Lucario: The first Mega Evolution AND there's an entire movie about an older Lucario who saves the day Volcarona: became the sun temporarily. It has it's own cult. Folette-E: So this only applies to Floette-Eternal Flower, but feel free to let it cover regular Floette, too. It's basically the whole Az deal in XY.
