@Supermario: the biggest problem I can see is your entire team is made up of physical attackers, so you're going to have trouble with pesky physical walls or anything with Iron Barbs or Rough Skin. @Derpy Simon: Psychic is useless coverage on Gengar. If you want to hit fighting types hard, use Dazzling Gleam since it also hits incoming Dark types very nicely. Since you have both a Garchomp and a Rotom-W, you also might try changing Thunderbolt on Magnezone for Discharge to hit harder in Doubles and Triples. While you can always change abilites, I'd suggest generally running Guts over Iron Fist on Conk to better prepare for status absorbing from your other mons which may not want to be whittled down by status. These are just suggestions, so feel free to ignore if you'd like.

I'm planning on going with Riolu just to mix it up since I generally use a Water/Grass type and a Fire partner. My partner will be a Fenniken because it happens to be my girlfriend's favorite and then it'll be like we're adventuring together.

Luffy: Chimchar would be your best bet Zorro: SD users.., well the best are Gallade, Crawdaunt, Excadrill, Absol, and Lucario. Leafeon isn't bad either. Take your pick from there. Sanji: Hitmonlee (that was an easy one) Usopp: Kingdra would be best imo, but Drapion ain't bad either Chopper: Deerling/Sawbuck are awesome (especially in the Sun, see Nami) Nami: Vulpix is really awesome for Chlorophyl Sawbuck, otherwise wait until Politoed becomes availible for Ultimate Kingdra power. Robin: I'll leave that to others. Franky: Metagross would be ideal, although Golurk could also fit this role. Brooke: I'd say Mismagius, but Exploud is another option.

Well at least Mega Gallade's ability would have some use then... Also, adding onto the Brave Bird point, I think it would make sense to have other moves break you out of the fear condition, such as Dragon Rage, Fury Attack/Swipes, and Outrage since when you're angry, you tend to stop caring about how afraid you are. On the other side of things, moves such as Meditate and Calm Mind should break you out of the fear status for the opposite reason, as in you are collecting your thoughts and overcoming your fears.

Flying is definitely one of the types I am dreading facing because it is an excellent type all around and has many strong sweepers and walls available to it. Ice moves and Stealth Rock won't be enough to save you from these birds.

You can get more Plume Fossils from Circus puzzles, so all you have to do is finish Episode 15 to be able to go on back to the city and revive it.

Let's not talk about X-items because we're focusing on the mons themselves. It's one thing to say "focus sash can help this mon since it is frail" and another to artifically increase their stats through X-items, thus invalidating the point of their stats. Anyway, here's a mon that I love using: Misdreavus - Mismagius for B ranking Availibility: You can grab Misdreavus shortly after Aya in Episode 15 or before Aya in Episode 14 or before. The first dusk stone can be found in the railnet after resucing the kids (iirc), so Mismagius is availible within one badge of originally encountering it. Typing: Pure Ghost, so no unfortuneate x4 weaknesses. Only weak to Ghost and Dark and has a strong Offensive type. Immune to two types naturally and another through the ability Levitate. Stats: High Special Attack/Defense and Speed. Everything else is terrible. Movepool: Learns Shadow Ball via level-up as a Misdreavus (lvl 41). Perish Song for utility and Bosses (46), Power Gem, Mystical Fire, and Psybeam (55/Relearner, Relearner, and 28 respectively). Biggest assest comes from breeding for Nasty Plot from Spiritomb to be able to set up and spam Shadow Ball. Charge Beam can be run if you like coverage or just getting the easy boosts and it can also set up Rain or Sun if your team needs the support. HP is obviously availible for coverage (Fighting prefered to deal with Dark types). All in all, quite diverse. Major Battles: Can outspeed/use a sash/focus band to survive a hit from "one pokemon fights" (Arceus, PULSE Abra, and Mewtwo in particular), then Perish Song. Mismagius can nearly solo Radomus with Nasty Plot and the boosts the field provides for NP. If you can get it in on a weakened or burned member of Samson's team, it has serious sweeping potential. Pretty useless on Luna, but helpful on Bennett just before that. Noel's main stab attacks cannot touch it and thus it becomes set up fodder (although Shadow Ball will only be hurting Clefable, so make sure you have a coverage move to handle the rest). Psybeam and Charge Beam can be quite useful on Serra as well. Can be helpful on Charlotte once Darmitan is gone and can effectively set up Rain. It can also be quite helpful on Terra since Nasty Plot then boosts both special stats. Make sure the physical attackers have been weakened before setting up though.

Right, well I am changing all of my box backgrounds to the Reborn X when Episode 16 comes out. Those are all awesome though, so I'll have a few of each for different purposes. Also I'd love to point out somehow this topic has the same number of pages as the actual status update thread has gained rep points for. Both are sitting at exactly 76.

According to Serbii, it actually triples the shiny rate, making about 3/100 or 1/33. Then again, Pokémon luck is wacky, so take that with a grain of salt.
