  1. The sound of the Tornado spell in Path of Radiance is uncannily close to Reshiram's cry.

  2. why does my english professor make me reading "On Being a Cripple?" does she want me to cry?

Most likely because some people have no innate inclination for empathy and it is necessary to at least try to instill one in them.

Unfortunately, an essay only does so much good. Such lessons stick so infrequently. Why worry about the weak and disadvantaged when you can throw them aside?

I guess, but I have the opposite problem where I empathize too much so yeah it's not a fun ride

  3. I hold no quarrel with conservatives, nor do I with liberals, nor with anyone in between or really anywhere on the political spectrum, tbh. But at the point when you can no longer acknowledge other human beings as being free thinking, intelligent individuals who hold their individual values for logical and legitimate reasons, then we have a problem.

  4. If you got a Drowzee egg instead of Ducklett from the egg event in the Obsidia Slums, Dorwzee has base 90 Special Defense, evolves into Hypno at 26, and has the type match-up against Corey. There's also Spoink, which has base 80 spedef, evolves at 32, and can be obtained from the Coral Ward iirc. Spoink/Grumpig also have good type match up against Corey.
  5. Two episodes of Generations up this week, bois

      Sutoratosu

well, the animation seems to have bounced back just a little bit since whatever the hell happened with Ep 4

  6. Boyd, please tone down your killing just a little bit. You are actually killing enough people to where it is hazardous to *your* health.

  7. SubCM Meloetta is a fun Pokemon

  8. The offical release date is for October 21, but they have given access to certain reviewers and YouTubers to build hype, highlight the next features, coax reluctant buyers into buying it when it comes out, ect. You can always look up Civ VI playthroughs/content on Google or Youtube and see if it redeems itself in your view.
  9. Sometimes I legitimately cannot tell if I'm simply playing bad or if I simply can't predict things like SD Serperior

or things like Belly Drum Magmortar, for that matter.

Belly Drum Magmortar is a thing?! Who dufuq is using physical Magmortar?

    3. AuthorReborn

      AuthorReborn

low ladder people. besides, physical Magmar is far better since it has the same attack, but better bulk with Eviolite.

  10. I have made the ultimate failure of a Pokemon: http://prnt.sc/cps72o

what is this supposed to do exactly? xd

lower its own stats and kill itself. That's all it can do.

  11. Alrighty guys, I did it. I made the Ultimate failure of a Pokemon. If you want to see a Pokemon that literally cannot do anything except lower its stats and die, here it is: BOOST (Shuckle) @ Custap Berry Ability: Contrary EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Acupressure - Final Gambit - Gastro Acid - Double Team If you want a set that could do... something... in doubles, triples, or the like, then here's a bulkier support variant (always provide Trick Room support for best results): ShuckYou (Shuckle) @ Mental Herb Ability: Sturdy EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD Careful Nature - Protect - Acupressure - Rock Slide - Encore Protect is for general Doubles/Triples/ect utility, Mental Herb for protection from Taunt, Acupressure lets you boost your partner's stats. Rock Slide can flinch under TR, and Encore is a general utility move for punishing Protect, T-Wave, Tailwind, opposing TR, ect.
  12. Desolation is further cementing my belief that Mono Normal is one of the hardest Monotypes to overcome.

Ofc there are other strong options like Diggersbythough, Linoone, Exploud and Helioptile

I know what a Mono is geeeeez gimme some credit. Just wasn't sure if you meant that it was hard to beat or if it was hard to get through a game with that mono.

Alrighty, well you didn't specify, so I decided I would address all of it. It would also help anyone else who didn't understand a particular component, so sorry if I made it seem like I was talking down at you.

also @Pyrro- tbh Chansey isn't good on Mononormal. Sure, it does do the natural Chansey thing, but it is it just as passive as usual. Pory2 has a lot more pressure with almost as much bulk nd a ton more option.

  13. If anyone wants a set that is gimmicky as hell, Acupressure Shuckle exists.

tfw Acupressure can be used on your partner mon in Doubs.

  14. I mean, considering that there was an already established gym that was under the former ownership of Corey, that idea kinda falls through.
  15. This was the special episode, man. Yesterday was when Despair 12 would have aired.
  16. nothing like procrastinating all week and finally feeling productive at 1 AM Friday morning.

  17. I seem to share similar sentiments to a lot of you. I do enjoy a happy ending, of course, with all the characters we have come to know and love being able to quite literally sail off into the sunset, but it did feel like a cop out. It didn't really feel like Danganronpa to me, tbh, with the distinctive dark taint where people you have come to love and appreciate being casualties of the fighting. ...but that's just my two-cents on the matter.
  18. In case you were still wondering, Episode 12 had no introduction, so we don't know if the counter went down or not or by how much, although I do believe Juzo is well and truly dead at this point regardless of anything else.
  19. I swear to Helix, it seems like every team in OU is some combination of fat fat mons.

    4. Ironbound

      Ironbound

Gen 4 stall was actually creative and not just the brain-dead mass of fatness that we have today. Back then, there was no team preview and no eviolite, and preparing against all contingencies (especially with mixed ape, rachi and dnite around, and explosion being everywhere) was a challenge. Plus, using things like defensive Roserade and Spiritomb was a lot better than genericpinkblob.exe, for sure.

  20. That was the fastest game I've ever had against a fat team: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-446973600 I'm kinda glad he forfeited, since he basically would have destroyed most of my team in his remaining few turns of rain. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-447064192
  21. I felt like going onto an old Minecraft server I used to play on and apparently they're in the middle of a corruption scandal. My goodness golly.

They weren't exclusively through the donation shop, but you would be able to have them weeks before you otherwise would because they were like endgame enchanted items.

  22. Deltas are definitely one of the larger points towards Insurgence, as they are interesting reinventions of previously made Pokemon. It also had megas for Pokemon such as Eevee, the Johto Starters, and Flygon tbh Mega Flygon is an insanely broken Pokemon in Insurgence so there's that if you want it, too. There's a lot of neat unique abilities and type combos in Insurgence (like D-Purrloin Ghost/Fairy, D-Trevenant Fairy/Fighting, and D-Roserade Dark/Fairy), as well as new weather conditions to work with different Pokemon. The fights in the game are difficult at points... unless you happen to have one of the Pokemon that completely hard counter them. At which point, they're laughable. Also, if you start the game before next update, you can get a free Delta Munchlax (Grass type) with the ability Thick Fat, which, once you level it up, will evolve into a Snorlax since it arrives at max happiness... and that's before you leave the first town. Balance doesn't really exist in Insurgence, so that is another point to keep in mind. There's quite a bit of interesting gameplay there, but, as others have stated, don't play it for the story. It's not perfect and there's too many villains for all of them to be properly developed why have one evil team when you can have 5?, so that is unfortunate. Still, it's an interesting enough game with some neat features. If you are looking for a challenge, there's adjustable difficulty settings that range from "Easy" to "Hard".
  23. It could have been even worse than that. Assuming you didn't randomize movesets (since Zekrom naturally has Dragon Rage at level 1), there's an even more dangerous opponent. The infamous Route 1 Registeel, which learns Explosion at level 1.
