  1. Oh he's well aware. I personally I enjoy Zekrom, Celibi, and Diance the most. They simply appeal to me to the most.
  2. Some of the best early game mons are as follows: Pachurisu- is either in the bridge bit outside the main hall or in an apartment building to the northwest Kriectune- just north of the first Pokemon center (not including the main hall), which is to the west of the hall. Espurr-requires PokeSnaxs. Pay the bum some $ and he'll move, allowing you access to Espurr. Starter-idk how you get this one. I hear you need to defeat Aceus. Budew- obtain the Rose Incense from a woman by the first PokeCenter and go to the northernmost bit of train tracks. The Incense should attract Budew. Litleo-raise a Bidoof to evolve, then trade with a guy across the tracks from the second factory. Trubbish (Early game Toxic Spikes OP) -most alleys Electrike- outside Julia's gym on stormy nights. Hope I helped!
  3. I'm in my second playthrough of Reborn atm and I just obtained a Spoink. I have never used it before in my life, but I think I might use it this run through for the sheer novelty of Psych Up on certain set up mons (such as Cradilly)

I've used Grumpig before. It's not a bad Pokemon, but it's certainly has way too many competitors better than it.

Oh I know. I just enjoy using random interesting pokemon in Reborn. It makes me better appreciate my favorites and unearth some diamonds in the rough.

  4. Banned because I actually enjoy the Slowpoke Report.
  5. This seems cool so I'll throw some of mine down here: My MC (either Victor or Author): -came to Reborn because he lost everything and decided that he would be "reborn" in the crucible of the damned city. -finds characters like Cain, Julia and Radomus thoroughly amusing. -doesn't actually entirely abhor Fern. He can see the good in Fern and inderstands some of where he's coming from. -is the most stuborn guy you'll encounter. Don't try to force him into anything, otherwise he'll just straight up leave. -wants to get to know Cal, Hardy, and Samson better. He hopes that after all the insanity ends, they'll be able to hang out more since they seem like cool guys. -is entirely devoted to his Pokemon before all others. -feels responsible for saving people, which causes him to still bear the immense guilt over Kiki, Corey, and Eclipse's deaths. -wants to somehow convince Taka to rebel against Meteor.
  6. As you wish. That'd be a good wish.... but it also caused your own will to be lost to another entity, specifically a nefarious pencil sharpener. I wish my shoelaces stayed tied.
  7. Banned for neglecting to tie the shoelaces of the person beside you.
  8. Your team is rather slow so I would suggest perhaps Cofagrigus to set-up Trick Room. Reuniclus would work as well, if you were preferring more of a bulky offense approach. Drop Wish from Sylveon because Wish is really only useful in competitive play where there are no healing items. Maybe throw on HP Ground there to deal with Steel and Poison types (like the ever-present Cain). You're want some sort of a flying type for Samson. I personally enjoy the usage of Archeops, although you already have a strong Rock-type sweeper. The other quite strong Flying type coming up for you soon is Hawlucha. It learns SD via level-up, has access to Unburden+Acrobatics (once we have access to buying focus sashes, this thing will always be on my team because just SD until Sash activates and then murder all), and it also gets HJK. The power is strong with this one.
  9. The most iconic shofu quote from any of his playthroughs: "HELLLO?!?!"
  10. Banned for being Lt. Obvious.
  11. Done, but it was infested with bugs and Cain was murdered by Fern five minutes in. Then the game crashes and you can't load it up ever again. The game ends with the death of Cain. I wish that Ame put a character in the game named Able just to have Cain kill him.
  12. I don't understand. What is this "sanity" you speak of? This is Reborn, there is no such thing as "sanity" here.
  13. Today I asked the Helix Fossil a question. The answer troubled me (and no, I did not try asking many times for this answer). https://www.askhelixfossil.com/#1vuo27

  14. I tend to stick with Manectric, but that's 25% personal preference and about 75% because it's great. It learns Discharge vis level-up, which is only slightly less potent than Tbolt and it also triples the para chance (one hell of a trade off if you ask me). You've got Flamethrower post-Charolette and Hidden Power Ice is always an awe choice. You can always slap a combo of Lightning rod on there for doubles abuse and Charge Beam for becoming a God. I have not personally not used Emolga nor Helioisk, but I've heard good things about both so I'll make note of that here. Also, Ampharos is pretty nice although I haven't used it much. The other two electrics I'll rotate through are Magnezone and Galvantula, both of which bring their own powers to the table. Galvantula also has nice typing.
  15. Hmmm.... happiness/grinding. It's just annoying when I try to get a Roselia with Leech Seed so I get to grind it to level 15 and just run arround in circles and visit the salons. Ugh. It's not Reborn specifically, I simply hate it a lot as the general Pokemon mechanic. Edit: Yes, I know that this is a "who" thread but it annoys me enough to be personified. Also, Pokesnaxs only work to get them up to a certain point. From there, it's trying to scamper around to find Blue Moon Ice Cream and paying the salons all my monies.
  16. Ikr? The idea is to be hard, not insurmountable. And even if it was "insurmountable," us members of the Reborn community tend to find a way to beat all the odds snd win anyway. We destroyed a level 75 Garchomp with our parties in the 30s. We bludgened our way through the most annoying of leaders such as old Aya (I haven't fought the new one yet), Noel and his infernal Cinccino, and the original Serra. If you can't learn to persevere and succeed in the face of what Reborn has to offer, well, you clearly haven't been broken down yet. Reborn is designed to be difficult, a challenge without being unfair becuase there are so many ways to win, but in the end, it is there to tell you that you are nothing and if you wish to win you'll need to become a master of Pokemon. Field effects are around to make the game more interesting and they're easily nullified/exploited if you read the notes about them.
  17. Awesome work, all of you! I know as the week goes on others will view this post and come by and say thanks, but for those who don't have an account yet (you should make one if you're just lurking btw. Introduce yourself, become a member of the community) or simply are busy elsewhere, I'd like to give you guys a huge and resounding thank your for all your innumerable hours of work at coding and debugging and just general testing. Thank you very much and keep up the great work!
  18. I would like to throw in my own interesting theory. Something that several other people have suggested now is that we may have not encountered the champion. However, of course we don't know who the heck that would be because we haven't met them. Well... mostly. Ame being Ame, she tends to leave little gifts for those who are thorough enough to obtain them (Beldum, anyone?). I'd like to draw you attentions to a small post which has been over looked so far in this discussion. The "Favorite Character" thread on this very forum. Ame wrote, and I quote, "However my hands-down favorite character is Fer-- oops, that game's not a thing yet, nevermind~" (my apologies for not doing an actual quote. I'm on mobile in the middle of class atm). She also later wrote on the same thread, "oh dear god i wasnt even thinking about that, i promise it is not fern or anyone remotely like him." This leads me to believe that the mysterious Fer- character is honest, straightforward, unwavering, and gentle as those traits are the inverses of Fern's own.For a character to become the game creator's favorite and be that developed, this mysterious Fer- simply must have a decently large role and has also been yet to be unveiled. Based on what we know of the game, there are only a few of these roles remaining. The most prominent and obvious one is, of course, the champion. Of course, I could just be connecting the dots of two different drawings, but hey, a little speculation never hurt anything, right (well except McCarthyism, but that's another story)? I do realize that she wrote "that game's not a thing yet, nevermind~" but she still wrote it on the forum thread relating to listing one's favorite characters in the Reborn game itself. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my speculation. Feel free to pump it full of lead, if you so choose. It's all up to you, but regardless, I would personally investigate Ame's posts around the site to see if there are any potential dark secrets to bring to light. Or just watch as Ame reads this then edits out all potential spoilers out of her posts.
  19. Don't worry about ZEL so much for now. The answers will arrive as you progress and then all will become clear. For now, just keep in mind ZEL isn't a single person and isn't all bad.
  20. Kecleon crept up behind Gallade and used Shadow Sneak.
  21. Banned for admitting defeat.
  22. You can officially cook well. In fact, you cook so well, that everyone in the entire world kills each other because they wish to be the sole master over your superb cooking skills. I wish for a kind, immortal, and efficient, anti-pencil sharpener defender That's right, I have returned.
