I was going to do homework, then I saw Episode 14 was out, so there goes that. Time to suffer in game and in class.

I could definitely see Fern at least replacing Taka if he decides he can't put up with it (Lin's Regime) anymore.

Same here, but it'd be even greater with it as the base ability. I have only ever used Inner Focus against Elite Four Sidney's Shiftry, but it's definitely not worth the cost of the ability slot. It gets Sunny Day and WoW, but it doesn't get a lovely move which Arcanine does which goes by the name of "Morning Sun" even though it's a normal type move. If they gave him Morning Sun and turned it into a Fire Type move (as it ought to be), he'd become far more viable. He would definitely need the support of a Rapid Spinner or a Defogger to live up to his full potential of course, with his weakness to Stealth Rocks and Spikes. GameFreak, if you're reading this, I would love for this to be the Ability for Mega Typhlosion (I know they aren't but I can dream).

Yeah, I figure it's no fair that only Talonflame gets a lovely ability like that. Think of the destruction! Death to Scizor and Ferrothorn! True, although really you'd just have to switch into a ground or water type which would work out well for synergy (possibly Azu or a defensive Landorous-T).

If this is a thing that will happen, I predict it will occur with the Sinnoh Remakes because they had The Underground and a Gym leader who was a miner who really liked fossils (or so I've heard. I haven't played any of the Sinnoh games, although I plan to fairly soon), so it would work well and there could be a little tutorial from him about new Mega Evolutions and Primals and strange stones he found while searching for fossils. Just my thoughts on the matter, though.

Let's try and stay on topic here, fellas. This is a discussion about Team Meteor, not Power vs. Accuracy or LoL, or even about a potential 100% evasion chance field effect. It's about Team Meteor. Also, I feel the need to get us back to subject so I'm personally looking forward to how the other Admins will respond to the death of a certain double-battle admin who may have had their soul melted away, specifically Taka, although ZEL will be interesting and the deceased Admin's partner. I am kinda wondering how much longer Taka will be able to handle being on the Meteor's since, despitre his father. He could just make like Heather and fly away only this time on that infernal Chatot so I never have to deal with it when it gets Boomburst. And you know it will. Also, quick opinion question, do you think a certain Swag Jockey will be replacing the aforementioned Admin in the doubles battles?

Catch a Bronzor and get it Rain Dance from a Move Relearner. Make sure you get a Heatproof one. The should help. Replace Yanmega temporarily.

You sound like my kinda person. It's good to meet you. Make sure you left your sanity at the door, wouldn't want any "logic" or "reason" getting on the carpet.

You can have a decent mixed attacker Flygon with Earth Power (and EQ if you want it) with a couple of other coverage moves as well. You'll probably want to give it an Earth Plate for that though. It really isn't the best set, but it saves a ton of time if you don't want to deal with breeding EQ onto Trapinch or waiting until level 55 or so to get it through level up.

There's always some great classics like Civilization V and Civilization: Beyond Earth. Also, in a word: BioShock. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (1 and 2) are great fun and fairly challenging. Definitely give them a try. Although, if you play 2, make sure you have the Restored Content Modification, which restores a ton of content which was cut from the official release of the game because LucasArts wanted the game out for Christmas the year it was released. FTL is fun fun fun. The Portal games are fun puzzle oriented games if you're into that sort of thing. Edit: No clue how I forgot this one, but "The Walking Dead: The Game" by Telltale Games is pretty epic.

I always try to use fun, different, and unique Pokemon but sometimes it just doesn't work out well so I default back to a tried and true strat. Example: In my second Reborn run, I wanted to try killing Florinia's team off with my Roselia and Electrike, for a bit of extra challenge. Both kept dying to Sand tomb, so I said screw it and I trained up Kricketune and obliterated her with the obvious Focus Energy/Fury Cutter Combo. Edit: Although, now that I think about it, I have had this strategy work for me before, specifically on Aya, where I swept her with Shashed Shedinja.

I started a second save and now I'm up to Shelly, and let me tell you, it's an extra little adventure now.

Just keep chugging along, you'll get there. I'm, not one for grinding myself, but trust me, it's worth it to continue.

If anyone still reads this thread, I would be interesting in finding a tutor. I'm not decidedly terrible at the game, but my teams never seem to synergize well and I've gotten to the point where I understand what plays are good to make and which predictions I should make to comprensate for switching and the like, but my teams don't work terribly well together so I end up with a team which can't get high enough for me to stop fighting the sorts of teams that has stuff like a Morning Sun Arcanine on a Rain team. I want ot get better though, and I am willing to be hunbled and learn if there are any who will teach.
