Hmm, this should be fun! I've never really thought about this other than my love for the 5th and 6th gen designs, haha. Well, here goes nothing. 10.) Darmanitan: This guys design was one of the first I saw of 5th gen due to the leaks, and man did I really want one, haha. After finding out about Zen Mode, it only strengthened my desire to use this monster! I love this guy, but I'm sad as hell that Zen Mode has no competitive application... But man if it did, that'd be sweet! 9.) Ferrothorn: I actually didn't care for it at first, at least when I saw it's prior form, Ferroseed. I tend not to be a big user of grass types, but it turned out to be such a cool pokemon for me. Being a hazard guy and having Power Whip made me ecstatic to use it! That, and it's design really started to grow on me. (Those eyes and the silver/green/yellow color palette) 8.) Goodra: This was probably the first dragon type pokemon I actually had any desire to use. It has such a cool design throughout all of it's evolutions and I really wished I could hug that loveable goop monster, haha. It's insane S DEF and it's move pool also made it great when I used it against one of my friends who absolutely hates the thing. ("It's not a real dragon! ARGH!") 7.) Florges: My god this pokemon. When I caught a Flabebe, I couldn't help but fall in love with it. And when it became a Florges, man was that just the epitomy of beauty in pokemon for me. As my intro pokemon to the fairy type, I couldn't have been happier! 6.) Nidoking: Probably one of the only 1st gen pokemon I still like, Nidoking has been my man ever since 1st gen. Almost every belt I'd beat the games with would have my favorite purple monster and his hilariously diverse move pool. Seeing Cain in Reborn with a Nidoking made me jealous immediately, but at least a cool character got a cool pokemon, right? 5.) Greninja: This guy is by far my favorite starter in pretty much every aspect. It's design is cool throughout all of it's evolutions, it has one of the best hidden abilities of all time, and it's move pool only strengthens the already stellar aspects about this pokemon. Greninja will probably be a staple in pretty much every belt I'll use from 6th gen onward. 4.) Sableye: Ahh 3rd gen... Pretty much the first Pokémon game I actually had a real grasp on. I didn't care about water routes and HM shenanigans. It was all just a great time for me. And even though this guy was mediocre back then, Sableye was still a pokemon with a special place in my heart. This little shadow goblin and his diamond eyes gave me an appreciation for status moves and tricky strategies. 3.) Togekiss: One of the few designs I particularly liked in 4th gen, and it built on a pokemon I loved in 2nd gen! Togekiss is one of the sweetest pokemon I've ever had the pleasure of using, whether I'm a para-flinching jerk off or not, haha! Togekiss is another pokemon for me like Florges and Goodra where I just wanna cuddle with the thing. 2.) Volcarona: Oh man... If my number 1 didn't have nostalgia attached to it, this guy would've been my favorite pokemon of all time. Hell, I don't even care for bug or fire types that much and this thing was just glorious. If Florges was my epitome of beauty, then this thing is pure deific radiance, haha! Volcarona will always be one of my favorite designed pokemon of all time and is usually somewhere on most competitive teams I attempt to make. 1.) Spheal/Walrein: Back to my fond memories of 3rd gen, this little fella and it's big, gnarly evolution are from my favorite place in Hoenn: Shoal Cave. When I saw Spheal for the first time, my 10 year old self immediately fell in love with it to the point of catching a whole box worth and desperately trying to find a plushy of it in stores or on the net. Hell, it was even the first Pokémon I actually tried to breed for improvement, and I think that's the most tedious crap ever, haha! While he might be pretty terrible for competitive use, Walrein was my best friend until 5th gen came out. There we go, haha! I hope this wasn't too boring for everyone!

Ah, thanks Zephyr! The profile picture is from Earthbound. Particularly of my favorite NPC, Tessie, haha. -
Standard Attention-Grabbing Title That Peaks Ones Interest

Haha, I'm glad everyone took the time to read through all of that tripe without having to get their eyes checked! Once again, I apologize for just how much I put in there. I'm happy to accept a theoretical cookie for my effort though. As for team rating, I've been attempting to catch as many Pokémon as possible this run so I can build a specific team for countering every major obstacle in the game... With mixed results, haha. Being the "funny jackal" that I am, I decided an RP format would be a fun and detailed way to put myself on the map, and I'm glad it seems to be paying off! Now that I've taken off my shoes to stay awhile, that song that Ark posted is a good listen. It had somewhat of a Madeon feel to it, and that piano is what really hooked me! Most things with a piano and/or violins really sucks me in. I hope to have a fantastic time here while I enjoy my stay in Chez Reborn, haha! Oh, I also looked at your intro, Iowayshay, and it's pretty impressive in it's own right, length-wise! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to gush on this thing! (No offense, haha) -
Ahh, I see. Then the goddess Titania is our shining beacon of lustrous hope in this dark world of filth and sin. May we cleanse the other alliances of their heresy and purify their types for our holy purpose! Though in all honesty, I'm not entirely sure how to go about serving our one true goddess, haha. I'd like to smite infidels but my status as a newbie and lack of rupees leaves me in a semi-useless state. I have considered one option though... Wagering utter elimination from the game itself! That way, I can truly serve as a catalyst for the lustrous one as I send her detractors to the shadow realm, haha.

Standard Attention-Grabbing Title That Peaks Ones Interest

Haha, wow! I didn't expect this much of a response from all of you. I'm happy to see such a supportive environment here, especially considering my status as a nobody, haha. Either way, I've done a few forum based RP's before with... Mixed results. Though that was about 5 years ago so I'd be willing to try again in the near/distant future. I suppose since I keep hearing about this Pokémon Online thing, I should probably sign up. As a final note, I've tried shopping cart skates a few times while doing carts with about a 40% success rate, haha! Also, I had to go with the Viridian Alliance, since you guys got my two favorite types in the games! -
Haha, I'll go ahead and give what could be a long and not very entertaining explanation! When I was around 8 years old, I was lost in my own little fantasy world, as usual. Daydreaming was a big thing for me, and honestly still is, haha. Anyways, I also had a habit of moving my hands about, either pretending the pencil I was holding was a sword and would swing it around with my fingers as if someone was wielding it. So there I was, daydreaming but without a pencil in hand. So I started to make hand puppets in order to get a mental image of... Something; anything. I eventually formed a hand puppet where my pointer and pinky fingers were straight up (forming "ears), my ring and middle fingers put tightly together (an "upper jaw"), and my thumb placed below the ring and middle fingers (Making a "bottom jaw"). I started making this hand puppet make koala noises (An animal I was intrigued by at the time) and eventually had it speak normally. I decided to call this thing a "Wala", and proceeded to share it with my older brother and our friends. I developed them as race for our roleplaying in the same vein that a dwarf or an elf would be. Their appearance being a literal disconnected human forearm that is making the hand puppet. It went as far as several evolutions of their "peoples" values and culture to the point of meeting RPG fluff writer standards. As for the username, I was trying to think of something when one of the "Got Milk?" commercials came on and figured GotWala would be cool and no one would have it besides me. So yeah, that's basically the "short" version of my username's origin, haha. Hope it wasn't too boring!

Hey there, I'm the new guy here and it seems this alliance picked my two favorite types in Pokémon. So that means there was literally no other choice for me, haha! I'm not sure how I can help, being someone with no Reborn cash, but if you need my cooperation, then I'm your man. So judging from the previous comments, are we a theocracy, or perhaps just a very traditional guild/order? I figure I should know so I can know what sort of jargon I'll be using against our foes and amongst my allies, haha. Ahh, almost forgot! If we are indeed going to Skype it up occasionally, then my name is still GotWala, at least to me knowledge, haha.

Thank you very much, Cloud, for this helpful guide for issuing an introduction! I'm always happy to take advice from anyone willing to give it, haha.

Hey there reader, I hope my very creative title is what spurned you to action in clicking this topic, haha. But in all honestly, I'm GotWala and as a fan of Pokémon Reborn and a generally bored person, I figured joining this site might be a cool way to pass the time on occasion. So without further adieu, I'm going to lay out some facts about myself in a relatively orderly fashion (Just because I'm used to that type of junk with other forums I've tried out, haha) and hopefully you'll get a better, if not a hell of a lot wordier, picture of me. Appearance: I'm about 5'11" and weigh a good 130 lbs. My state of fitness is mediocre, but passable for all intents and purposes. I've got short, brown hair that's so dark that it looks black. My grey-blue eyes and pale as hell skin really complements my bone structure and the large, purple bags under my eyes. Other than that, I wear a lot of purple, grey, black, white, brown, and green. Shorts don't exist in my world, but jeans of some kind are basically standard. Lastly, I find dress shoes and other slip-on shoes to be the best. Oh, and I'm also a dude who identifies as a dude, if that wasn't apparent already, haha. Occupation: I used to work at two different McDonald's and a Kroger. The McDs' jobs were terrible, but it was money. As for Kroger, it was way better than the McD's and paid about the same, so no real complaints. I had attempted college, but I lack the ability to apply myself to most things, so that tanked pretty quick. Good news is that I'll be in the US Navy for about 6 years coming this March, so that'll give me something to do, right? My job there will be working with sonars... And that might be all I'll be allowed to say! As for after that, I've got no real clue. Used to be I wanted to be a teacher but I've got enough problems as it is before I'm ready to inspire others to fix theirs, haha. I'll see what road this military service takes me before I think about it any further. Yeah, that sounds like a plan to me. Personality: As for the quick and easy run-down of what kind of person I am, here are some helpful labels for that: ENFP, 2w9, and IEE. There, that should cover a basic idea of what I'm like for those who are familiar with Myer-Briggs, Enneagrams, and Socionics, haha! Though if I had to go into length, I'd say that I have a greater concern for things around me than for myself. I've tried to remain as self-sufficient as possible in life (To the point of being homeless on a few occasions, haha) and to never be a burden. Other than that, I'm very accepting of differing ideals and beliefs and have thick enough skin to let most nonsense roll off me like water off a duck's back. I also attempt to cease conflicts around me, rather than start them or contribute to them. (I refuse to do anything to perpetuate the state of war while I serve.) So overall, a rather friendly, loyal doormat, haha! Things I've Done: In the ways of travel, I've been to a handful of states (Arizona, Maine, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and every state in between to get there. As for other countries, I've been to many European places (Germany, Luxembourg, France, and England) and the Bahamas. Other than that, I haven't done much world travel. I've graduated high school with mediocre grades ( Number one quote from my teachers was always "You're so smart, but you never apply yourself!") and haven't done anything with my life for the past 2 years since then. As for now, I've been enlisted, so I'm sure I'll have a couple more things worth mentioning then, haha. Interests: So Judging by the various musical artists in my profile, I tend to listen to a lot of videogame music but have a variety of tastes when it comes to jamming out. If you can find any musical value in something, then I probably like it. I've played a lot of games in my life and the ones that have impacted me the most are by far those with an amazing soundtrack and an in-depth story. So if I sound pretentious as hell, I apologize, haha! I also have had a profound love for roleplaying for as long as I can remember, and while I've gotten more jaded about how much the fantasy realm matters, I still find the time to love drifting from reality for a bit of escapism. As for other interests, I tend to fixate on large conflicts of ideals around the world and throughout time. Usually, I find things I can either relate to or find understandable from both sides, though I usually just daydream about solutions for them. Oh, and if "story-rich" wasn't an indication regarding things I like in games, then I also have a fondness for the printed page. (Though not of any particular genre) Well then, I believe that just about covers everything that comes to mind, though with some prodding I'm sure I'd remember some details I may have left out. I hope this equivalent of a Wiki entry on me didn't burn your eyes out on words, haha! Reading it again, I realize I've forgotten to mention any history about myself, but none of that seems worth going back to type out. I suppose if anyone wants to know, I could elaborate, assuming you haven't already gotten sick of my long-winded shenanigans! Anyways, I hope this was a sufficient introduction with as little typos and grammatical mistakes as possible. (Though I'm sure I've boned my grammar a few times throughout in an attempt to convey a sense of intellect, let alone erudition of a certain degree) I look forward to giving my two cents on some topics and possibly taking part in this Zero Alliance game. Sincerely, GotWala
