Damon Damon smiled, he was always up for a challenge. That was partially due to the fact that Master Royland, the man at arms that trained him in swordsmanship was about as forgiving as the cold tundra that Damon should have died in. "I've held a sword since I was old enough the hold one. That huge sword might not be able to be swung as fast as your little wind blade, but a longsword provides it's user with a wide range of strategy to take out a wide range of opponents... Let's also just say that my lumen also allows a lot of mixed tactics with a sword. But about yours, so your sword amplifies your power. Is there something unique about it, or could you channel wind with any old sword?

Damon 'For as big as he talks he doesn't exactly live up to his mouth...' Damon thought as he watched the small cyclone whirling around Roy. "So your lumen is reliant on your sword? Or is it just something to channel it with?" Damon asked, he had heard of people using objects or tools even to control their lumen, but never saw anyone that used something significant. But the real question what could he do without his sword. Damon's sword was only an extension to his lumen that helped in combat, but he would no doubt be able to kill an attacker without it.

Rhaeza "I´ll follow with you then, at least until we find them." "Right then..." The werewolf said. "Let's just hope that my squad are as resourceful as I hope they are." He said, before taking the lead down the street.

Damon - Fountain "Fire is only predictable if you are foolish enough to let it get out of control." Damon said, sparking a small controlled flame in his hand that burned blue at the core. "Like anything it is incredibly useful if you master it's techniques." He said, subconsciously pulling on his longsword's shoulder belt, which he spent countless hours training with. "And judging from that embarrassing display that was supposed to be sparing..." Damon said crossing his arms. "Controlling my fire is probably the least of our problems." Damon was by no means a master of his art, but he has dedicated himself to countless hours of training after the death of his family. Training with fire and sword. He developed several combat techniques, some involving super heating the blade or tip of his sword. As much as Damon enjoyed training, most of his techniques were designed to be lethal, so sparing with other students would probably not be a very good idea.

Damon 'This is cool, but I wonder if it has any practical uses... With enough water I might be able to generate a mist to ambush an enemy in...' Damon was thinking to himself. "Hey you!" Damon was startled slightly by the sudden aproach of someone. Who judging by his fur coat also hailed from the north. "is that steam? its like a sauna in here, Is everything alright? your wrist, it's all covered in foam and shit..you should probably get that check before your skin comes off." 'Oh fantastic, this one is more inquisitive than a child.' He thought as he pulled his hand out of the fountain, which gradually stopped bubbling and was annoyed slightly by the sudden interuption of his train of thought, but he had to laugh at the question. "I'm fine, just experimenting with my lumen a bit." He said, looking from the fountain to Roy, and then back again. "Perhaps a little too much though." He thought out loud noticing that the water level dropped noticibly. Damon's hand was already dry seconds after withdrawing from the fountain, then started to cool his hand back to normal temp. "Heat doesn't hurt me like normal people."

Uhh, Ragnar. You might want to reread my post XD. You can't actually see my hand because it is literally covered in foam in the fountain. And Damon's hand color doesn't really change color significantly due to his lumen. Not that I really care, but that would kinda change how Damon's lumen works. He literally can't feel heat and it barely affects him. Considering that he can heat metal hot enough that he can bend it with a bit of force, boiling water barely phases him.

Damon 'Perhaps it would be best to wait to pick a dormitory...' Damon thought as he finised making a large circle through the three buildings. He exited the dorm and saw a fountain. 'Interesting' He thought, but before his padded boot took it's first step toward the fountain he recoiled as he saw movement. The white haired girl left the garden and went back down to the group that somehow still hasn't moved 2 feet from where the instructor left them. 'Have they no sense of curiosity?' As Damon stepped toward the fountain he saw someone else walking towards the big building that Damon assumed was the 'school'. 'The one with the strange curved sword. Don't remember his name either.' The coast finally seemed to be clear, so Damon walked out into the open making very little sound due to his padded leather boots. There was nobody else by the fountain thankfully, the large group arguing over spiders or something was clearly visible from the fountain. Damon stepped up to the fountain and looked at his reflection, at those blue eyes that had been brown for the first 15 years of his life. It still really bothered hims, why had his eyes changed when his Lumen surfaced? Had he died in the cold out there? Why him? He would probably never know the truth. The stress would probably have been a lot worse if not for his excessive training, but his questions still troubled him deeply. He leaned closer into the fountain, his eyes even deeper blue than the water. He shook his head. 'I need to stop thinking about it. Perhaps someone here can help me though... I am here to learn after all.' He contemplated, looking into the water. 'I wonder.' He thought, as he reached to put his hand into the pool nothing happened at first. But then bubbles started to form around his hand as the water began exaporating as he super heated his hand. Within a few seconds the water around his wrist was white with foam.

Damon After his initial disgust from the white haired fire weilder's total lack of control ended the rather clumsy sparrings Damon had to wonder, why lash out and waste her energy like that? There were a half dozen reasons not to, but that was a topic for another time as the group moved on into the area that they would be staying from now on. Damon remained quiet and considered joining in the 'social activity' in the courtyard, but shook his head and decided against it when he saw someone handing an girl a flower. 'How old are these people?' He thought to himself. 'I really do hope that some of these people have some maturity... or at least some sense.' Damon flung his bag over his left shoulder (His sword hilt being on the right) and walked past the courtyard and entered one of the dormitary buildings. 'Shit, I should have payed attention to who walked into these. Guess this is up to chance then.'

Rhaeza "With the exception of Jory here," He said, gesturing to his squad mate, "I haven't actually made contact with any of them since arriving in the city. They probably have stirred up some sort of trouble by now though." Rhaeza's original plan was to go solo for a while and try to find any information and make use of it, but news like this had enough priority to justify making contact with the rest of the group. The question was how though, they hadn't planned any sort of meeting place prior to entering the city. "From what brief look of my squad that I had... I get the feeling that we'll end up running into them at some point. Besides, we've been here too long. We should move before we draw any unneeded suspicion."

Rhaeza "Well out next course of action is pretty clear. We need to get to that school..." The werewolf said, almost forgetting something. "Though it would be good to contact the rest of my squad somehow... If we're lucky they'll have figured out what we have through some means. Should we talk to the security of the school, or perhaps go into the school under disguise first... We may want to try and contact Archangel Caspiel as well. We have a lot of options here."

I want to progress, and have Marcus take us to the school, and try to contact the rest of the group if possible, but I don't want to be a dick and leave Jory behind, but it has been almost a month since he posted ಠ╭╮ಠ

Rhaeza "A traitor? Damn, I was hoping that wasn´t the case but... It makes perfect sense." His face contorted with anger. "The last unit I worked on was also trying to track the killers but... we got wiped out. I went to deliver a message to our superiors and, when I got back to base, everyone was dead. I´m the last that remained. No one outside the Alliance was supposed to know about us, but I still refused to believe that we´d been betrayed. How naive of me." 'Dead? All of them... this is serious then. Won't be getting any fire support on this then.' "Ok, I´ll work with you. The target of this attack is most likely Lord Caspiel, the Archangel. His influence alone is what ended up convincing the angels to join the alliance, and if something were to happen with him they´d most likely exit in response. He´ll be present for the opening and the closing ceremonies of the Student Meeting, and if the attacker wants to make things public then that´s when they´ll strike." " Well shit, this is bad...." Rhaeza said, slightly pacing in his spot in thought. "What do you know about Caspil, habits or anything, and more importantly about this Student meeting. If shit is going down, it will be there. And so will we."

So does anyone know if Jory is still alive? I want to move along my section of the story, but I don't want to just kinda leave him in the dust.

Rhaeza, Jarvis, and Alliance Operative The werewolf smirked at the description of his unit. "Yes, that would be them. But this is very disturbing news, I was suspicious from the start that this may have been an inside job, or the terrorists at least had Alliance intel... But this confirmed my suspicion. There is a traitor in the Alliance." 'It couldn't be Vermillio could it? It doesn't seem likely, but I'm not ruling out any possibilities until we catch the traitor.' He thought, unsure of what to trust at this point. "Regardless, we now have an advantage... This traitor doesn't know that we know of him yet, and we could potentially use this to our advantage if you're willing to help us Marcus. With what exactly, I couldn't say yet though. Is there anything else that you know that could be useful. Even small things, details matter in a situation like this."

Rhaeza, with Jarvis and Alliance Operative "I'm a operative in the Vampiric STR, which I do have my badge here." Rhaeza said, pulling out a small piece of metal in the shape of what looked like a Dagger. "That is not who I am currently operating for though. The only name from whomever assigned this mission was the Demon named Vermillio who briefed our group on the mission. I wouldn't be surprised if you had no Idea what I'm talking about, but if you know anything please do tell. We have very little to go off of in terms of the insurgents who are behind the attacks." He said, not revealing too much information, but just enough that if the operative did know he would recognize their purpose.

Rhaeza "Wait, you've been given exact descriptions of us?" Rhaeza said, after Jarvis's satisfying smack across their new friend's face. "If this is true, then my original suspicion may very well be true. There has to be a traitor in the leadership of the alliance, or at least a well informed member. Not just anyone knew about our counterinsurgent group here." The thought of a member of the alliance causing these attacks alone was disturbing, but high enough to know about their task force? 'There is a real problem here, if only we had some way of warning Vermillio. If we really want to stop these attacks, we may have to go way farther than stopping the attacks here.' He thought, realizing how daunting of a task it would be if this were true.

Damon Damon was surprised when someone recoiled, almost as in disgust away from his question. 'Looks like someone isn't too fond of sarcasm...' He thought to himself, not that he had any intention of participating in the first mock fight. 'Longsword is probably a bit too lethal for this. Probably going to have to do this the old fashion way.' He thought, as he unstrapped his sword and leaned it up against a tree, then mimicked his sword by leaning against the same tree.

Damon As the plane began it's descent Damon yet again gripped his already seared armrests, clearly waiting for it to be over. When the plane finally did touch down and taxi over to where, from his window Damon saw three people waiting off of the runway. 'Now who do we have here?' He thought to himself. As people begun to file out of the plane (some faster than others...) Damon got up, grabbed his bag and his longsword which he didn't bother arranging inside of the cramped plane. He stepped out into the light, that was far less blinding compared to the snow that he was accustomed to seeing everywhere. He strapped his longsword's belt over his shoulder and threw his bag over the other one, holding it on a string. Damon stayed quiet while everyone else was bickering or seemingly arguing already.. until the person who was clearly in charge stepped forward and begun to explain the situation. Most of which Damon already knew about, but evidently not everyone did their homework... Damon really didn't want to be here, but he knew that he had to, going after raiders would only get him killed... Regardless Damon followed them into the woods, sticking closer to the front of the party, still without saying anything. The one who called herself Sylva then began to explain that they were going to have what is basically a live fire exercise. Damon smiled, his sword hand itching already. 'How lively is this mock battle going to get though? It probably wouldn't be very smart to injure the new trainees, as satisfying as it might be, I would rather not make people hate me yet.' Damon said, zoning out a bit until he realized he wasn't paying attention, then snapping back into reality.

Rhaeza "Someone tasked with stopping you rebels. You think you can get away with what you´re doing? Well, Marblegate won´t be as easy as Shadowveil and The Thousand. We won´t stand by idly while you keep your futile attempts to break the Alliance, you murderers!" Rhaeza chuckled a bit, instantly realizing the situation. "Sorry to disappoint your interests, but we're on your side. And yes, there are some monsters that disagree with other monsters. Regardless we're looking for those 'rebels' to stop their next attack, and if I get my way, to end their activity permanently... Anything that you know about them could be useful." Rhaeza said, offering his hand to the man.

Don't worry - that wasn't aimed at you, it was for Stratos. Your Lumen is fine - you have less control overall from what I can tell, so it evens out. Oh, sorry. I'll fix that. Final Sheet: (Hopefully)

I'd like to ask if you'd be okay with being restricted to manipulating flames of your own creation and small to medium average flames made through natural causes, but not fires made through Lumen-based means? Apart from that, this is perfectly fine, and for future reference your character was most likely blessed by Marius. Making the change now. Also have to ask, why Marius? Fixed Lumen:

Character Name: Damon Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Damon is 6'0 and thin, but being raised by a blacksmith he has a surprising amount of muscle. He has straight dark hair that falls just atop of his shoulders, and Blue eyes. His eyes were originally brown, but the next time that Damon looked in a mirror after his Lumen awakened they were blue. He has a cut scar on his right brow above his eye and on his right cheek that he sustained during his attack. Blue seemed to be the natural color to wear after his "change in character", so he typically wears a dark blue vest with a design on it. His attire may change a bit the further south he ventures though. Backstory: Personality: Lumen: Fire, what a surprise. How else would Damon have survived without it? The fire that burns inside of him isn't exactly going to let Damon hurl any fireballs at people, but he can manipulate previously existing fire. When Damon did manipulate fire it seemed to be reflected by his emotions, stronger but less controllable with anger, and smaller but more controllable when calm. Damon's lumen also allows him to superheat something in contact with his hands, like his sword blade, or water, anything that he can throw, or another person... Weapon of Choice: A Longsword that his father made for the Lord of the neighboring city that was gifted to Damon before he was sent off to learn of his new found abilities.

Rhaeza Rhaeza loosened his grip around the man's throat after he nodded at let Rhaeza take over, before Rhaeza could think of anything to ask Jarvis had returned. "So, what are we doing with him?" "Well naturally we ask our friend here a few questions." Rhaeza said, as he crouched down to eye level with the man whose back was against the wall, with the cloaking umbrella beside him, blocking a street view of him. If anyone were to look down that alleyway they would probably be rather confused. "Who are you?"

Rhaeza 'A cloaking umbrella?' Rhaeza thought to himself as the other spy walked away. 'How come I never got anything like this?' He thought to himself as he was dragging the limp body of the man over to the more sheltered spot. He set the cloaking umbrella down beside the unconscious body... that was noticeably becoming less unconscious. His eyes were opening, and he was beginning to take in his surroundings. 'Shit.' Rhaeza thought, before he grabbed the man's throat to constrict his air flow, preventing him from screaming. He then made a shushing motion with his other finger. "Stay quiet and I won't have to kill you." Rhaeza said in his monotone voice as he stared down at the man, with his amber eyes faintly glowing in the dark.
