  1. Dragalge learns Dragon Pulse at level 53, it's not the end of the world
  2. You can do some hair grooming at a saloon at obsidia ward, unlocked right after the first gym. There's also a lady to check your pokémon's happiness there. You know your budew is about to evolve when she says: "Your bond seems unbreakable". Don't forget the daylight. Budew does not evolve after sunset.
  3. Tell me: Why are dragons afraid of fairies?

      Another Felix

      To balance the meta.

      Cepheus

because fairies and dragons are "mythical" in comparison to the other types... and fairies are just cute and cuddly, and dragons may be evil-looking but they won't hurt them, because deep down in their heart they are softies :P

and fairies are ruthless to use that to their advantage

  4. Since this community will be forever divided by people who love making the game look exclusive and hardcore and people who just want to make the game more welcoming and known, ame should then just give the game something like the Easy Mode/Challenge Mode thing from BW2, a normal mode would also be good, since I don't want the game to feel like insurgence or zeta/omicron, which is indeed way too easy.
  5. I would make pokemon reborn a mafia-themed game set in the 50s, I mean, no one has ever used this idea before. I also want HM Fly
  6. In my opinion Mega Gyarados seems to be the most dangrous in this list. If you allow it to set up a dragon dance, you're pretty much dead.
  7. I understand your effort, but not everybody has the whole day available just to keep looking for a couple of stones. Bluebomberdude did us, and you, a favor.
  8. Does pixilate work in reborn? I thought it didn't
  9. It's pretty easy to use shade's field to defeat him. I killed his gengar with a gloom!
  10. Oh my Helix, the blasphemy!! Repent while you still can!! Or your fate shall be decided in armaggedon, when the shells will smash!
  11. I'm really upset when those idiots on twitch chose to have the dome fossil and the false prophet. Justice of the LORD HELIX will fall upon you all!

  12. I guess we already have a thread about this from a while ago, but posting there could be considered necroposting by some folks. Wow, such confused, much mixed feeling BTW I like the 5th gen games the most
  13. Silence, you heathens! No one is more glorious than LORD HELIX. Your greninjas and blazikens have power, but it's insufficient to outshine the glory of the lord. Now kneel!
  14. I feel like only naming 5, there are many places which I like, but those surely are the best. National park: It has one of the best soundtracks ever (both the Gen II and the Gen IV versions), it also has the bug catching contest, which is where I caught my first scyther (ah.. the memories) Snowpoint city: There isn't much to do there, but the soundtrack is also one of the best. It's just the perfect song Village bridge: Once again the soundtrack makes me like this place more than ano other in Unova, the layout is also quite beautiful and makes you want to live there instead of just spending 5-10 minutes there on your way to Lacunosa town. Ecruteak City: Especially the area around the Bell tower in HG/SS, the autumn trees are so beautiful. Why doesn't gamefreak make more places like these. Cianwood City: I've always disliked water routes, and the moments of finally getting out of water and have that soothing melody playing is just so chilling.
  15. A very interesting story. I will wait for the next part. I posted here as I saw no topic designed for feedback, if there is one, the mods have my consent to remove this comment.
  16. Since mega evolution is still not available in reborn, I will not take megas into consideration. Normal: A good one for this game would be snorlax. It's bulky, hits hard, and its Thick Fat ability is really useful against Charlotte and Blake, which are, in my opinion, the best trainers I've have faced yet (unless you get a metagross, in the case, blake is easy). Fire: Blaziken is surely the best one out there. You can get it right from the start and it has an excelent level-up movepool with Hi Jump Kick, Fire Punch, Brave Bird and Bulk Up, take its ability into account and you've got the perfect pokemon. Fighting: Again, Blaziken. But Toxicroak is also particularly useful in this game since poison types are much more common and important. Water: LORD HELIX Since gyarados is out of service and Ame will take Azumarill to somewhere else soon, I'd say swampert. It's bulky and hits hard, despite being slow as well, but Sheer Force Feraligatr also doesn't disappoint. Flying: There are many good options, you can pick which one fits best on your team. I suggest Aerodactyl, Archeops, Crobat, Honchkrow, Staraptor and Noivern. Grass: Contrary serperior. Overpowered beast. Poison: I always liked Crobat. It's fast, decently bulky and hits hard. It has access to Acrobatics, which hurts. Electric: Guts Luxray is a good option, since toxic orb is available (no flame orb, yet), but I also like Compoundeyes Galvantula (Too bad TM24 is not available). Ground: So many options. Krookodile, Excadrill, Swampert. Ground is a pretty good type overall (except for stunfisk, I hate that thing). Psychic: Gardevoir, the unofficial mascot of the game. Useful typing, access to calm mind, psychic and moonblast. Watch out for physical attackers, though, it's frail. Rock: Dragon Dance Tyrantrum or Shell Smash Crustle, choose the one that fits your team best. Ice: Cold environments are the home of many Dragon Slayers, such as Frosslass, Mamoswine and Glaceon. Those three are all very powerful and reliable pokémon. Bug: Mega evolution gave this type so many toys to play with, but since we can't use them, I'd stick with my good old Heracross, which kicks ass, and after that, it gets a good moxie boost. Dragon: Dragon-types are scarce in Reborn, but Noivern, Tyrantrum and Dragalge won't disappoint you. They're hard to train, though, especially Noivern, which is useless until it evolves. Ghost: I'd say Gengar, Chandelure or Frosslass. Chandelure is slow, but hits like a truck with its high Sp. Atk. Stat. Dark: Greninja. It's powerful, fast and versatile, but if you don't have it, consider using Scrafty. It's strong and it has access to both the move Dragon Dance and ability Moxie, setting up has never been so easy. Steel: The best defensive type in the game also has some of the best offensive pokémons as well, including Lucario and reborn's only Pseudo-legend: Metagross itself. Fairy: XERNEAS Gardevoir is by far the best fairy mon accessible so far, but go get Azumarill while you can, for the sake of exclusivity.
  17. I think no one, no one would have ever guessed that you would have to go there with a blue moon ice cream. Especially because the item is so, but so rare. It would take a month for someone to find it through normal means.
  18. Breed your arcanine with a ditto. Easiest way. But no one knows where the egg comes from, though. That is an everlasting mistery.
  19. Kiki has always been easy. Medicham sure does hit like a truck, but it's slow and you can cripple it with reflect, will-o-wisp or both.
  20. HM slaves can be quite bothersome to collect from your PC and putting them back there after you used them, but with time, you really get used to it. Bibarel is by far the best one, you can teach it Cut, Surf, Rock Slash and Dive.
  21. I will suggest some brand new movesets and nature changes, and you won't have to go replace any member from your team, unless you don't have enough patience for breeding. Dragalge Change its nature to Modest (it will be possible when you unlock 7th street) Change its ability to Adaptability Sludge Bomb (Keep it) Hydro Pump (Change it to Surf, when you get HM03) Toxic (Keep it) Dragon Pulse (It learns it at level 49, if you don't evolve it) Aromatisse Change its nature to Modest or Quiet Moonblast Calm Mind Misty Terrain Skill Swap (it's a fun move to use) Emolga Change its nature to Adamant or Jolly Nuzzle/Spark Acrobatics (Keep it) Encore (Good when you see a ground type move coming, you switch Emolga in then you lock your opponent on it) Iron tail (Chain breed from Aron to Male Nidoran/Mareep/Rhyhorn if you've got the patience) Delphox Change its nature to Modest or Timid Flamethrower (Keep it) Psychic (Keep it) Will-o-wisp (Keep it) Light screen (a good sugestion for this spot) Toxicroak You can run both physical or special sets with this beauty. If you want to go physical choose an Adamant or Jolly nature, you want a special toxicroak, change its nature to Modest or Timid. A physical toxicroak can also enjoy from its ability Poison Touch. Physical Moveset: Poison Jab Sucker punch Drain punch (Breed it from Mienfoo) Fake out (Breed it also from Mienfoo) Special Moveset: Nasty Plot (A very important setup move) Sludge Bomb Dark Pulse Vacuum Wave (Breed it from Hitmonchan) Lunatone Change its nature to Modest Psychic Cosmic power Moonblast Explosion
  22. Ame might have done this on purpose, for the shits and giggles
