  1. You asking me? In that case, no I don't use items during battle.. It's not that I find them cheap, I just don't see any point in using them. IMO, sending a pokemon with just half of it's health during gym battle usually means it's gonna get knocked out fast, and completely fixing the moon (unless you have max revive) gives the gym leader two free turns.
  2. You can find old reborn versions all the way to ep 9. So, you could start your new save file in one of those versions, And yep, the game is different for everyone. Charlotte and Serra? Ridiculously easy for my team. The leader I had most problems with? Noel. That fairy type of his and cinccino were destroying my team. Other hard gyms were Shade and Kiki. And agree about puzzles in general. They are hard. Don't have anything against those, but some like route 1, are just irritating.
  3. Charmander. Unfortunately, he had bad ivs, I didn care about evs, so he ended up boxed around Noel's gym. Later, I did some breeding and got myself an awesome special attacker. Actually planning to make him my mega evolution moon.
  4. Mankey can be found in obsidia slums, you have 15% chance of it appearing. Hmm. Can't remember who I used to take care of cradily. My charmander sorted the rest of her moons out. *runs off to her save file to check*
  5. Having grass type isn't that important, but this early in the game they are best for covering ground, water and rock. Buut, you've covered water types with shinx for now, and since lots of ground types are also rock types, makuhita can keep those in check. So nah, you don't have a big need for a grass type anymore If you still want to replace some of your pokemon with bellsprout, I'd suggest to replace gulpin since bellsprout is grass/poison (however, it doesn't learn useful poison type moves, and ame isn't big on giving us tms.) Your other option would be removing hoot hoot, since it doesn't learn any flying type moves till level 33, and you are covering psychic moves with espurr. eta: can't believe I forgot petilil. She is also a killer.
  6. Budew isn't available anymore? That's too bad. From the event pokemons you have pumpkaboo (somewhere in beryl cemetery, you need to have soul candle). From the regular moons, there's bellsprout, sunflora and odish. Sunkern is a no go. Victreebel can be both a physical and special attacker, and they go great with sun teams. If you want something bulkier, go for vileplume. All three of them can be found in Obsidia park. Espurr is in the magma team alleyway in the lapis ward. Male version is a great supporter, female version is great for attacking. Anyways, both will be useful for you, with upcoming poison and fighting type gyms. I finished all episodes up till now, and my female meowstick is still one of my main moons.
  7. I'd suggest removing swirlix, since at this point in game you don't really have any use for a fairy moon, and for now you can't evolve it. I'd suggest you get some pokemon to take care of water and ground type opponents, since your team is weak to those two types. You have an event budew during sunny days, and IMO roselia and roserade are great moons.

    Old sprites

Does anyone have original shiny sprites for the first three gens or knows where to find them? While I adore some of the recolors, others are kinda icky or they lost a ton of details (I'm looking at you grey recolors), and I honestly prefer some of the original shinies. I know that old ones were replaced in ep 12, so I'd need battlers file that comes from earlier episodes.
  11. Thank you guys! That last one is especially helpful!
  12. Thank you guys! Also, is there any way I can check if EVs are maxed out, something like effort ribbon in older games?
  13. Hello, me again with a quick question. Sorry if it was asked before, didn't manage to find the topic. Which game mechanics does reborn use when it comes to EV training? Are your stats recalculated when leveling up or after eac battle? And while I'm at it, is there a master post that states which game mechanics are used in which episode?

    Shiny pokemons

Thanks for the answers. I'm currently doing just that, although the lovest game version I found online is ep. 7. If I don't find wanted sprites in there,, I'll probably go hunting for original sprites. Thanks all of you

    Shiny pokemons

Thank you very much. One more question then. Where can we get older reborn versions? And, can we just replace it with a sprite version from official games?

    Shiny pokemons

Sorry, if this is the wrong place to post, but since I don't see a help subforum anywhere, I figured this would be the best place to ask. So, I know Ame is doing custom recolors of most pokemon and that some of them are already in the game. So, do the custom recolors completely replace the regular shiny pokemon? Can we catch in game both versions?
