Hello, this is just a poll made out of curiosity about people's opinon in regards of recovery services. Here is the situation: I lost my save (duh) Got it corrupted, everything was bugged out, location, story and all. After over a year of a break (didn't feel like playing through all 14 episodes again + college) I started playing again. Since there was still this feeling that I don't wanna put all that time into breeding, catching etc. I kind of did a recovery of my former team and I tried to keep it as weak as possible so it would keep the playthrough challenging. Recovery: -All pokemons level 5 -I tried to replicate the natures and IVs they had (I have the same team on Pokemon Insurgence so it wasn't hard). That's all Side note: I don't like cheating and I felt bad about what I did, but tbh the thought of doing hours and hours of breeding over again just to get something I already had is worse. Atleast for me it is. Anyways, happy voting

The real fun starts now, doing everything all over again. Every puzzle, every gym and every quest.... Not to mention rebuilding my team... Startying tommorow or today... its 3 am... Hello everyone. So this isn't actually the first time I am introducing myself here, but I will do it anyways since I had a long break (1,5 year) Why 1 year? Well let's say that someone forgot where he saved and decided to risk loading then saved for god knows what reason... Yeah that someone is me Anyways since I just finished my 3rd year of college and don't have much to do anyways, I decided the replay the whole thing (I was past the broken game boss thing at the circus) Also if anyone wants to encourage my masochistic self (old players know what I am talking about) feel free to do so. You quoted a post which talked about Ruby as a game since it was saying something like "HG/SS instead of Ruby", which led to my missunderstanding. Jericho you confused me when you asked me about the code in Ruby and Sapphire xD

This made me confused because you were saying that this game uses a gba/nds game as base. Clarification, "Ruby" doesn't mean Pokemon Ruby. It is a programming language like C,C++,C#,Javascript,Delphi etc.

Dark Souls 2 is logical. You have to actually think to beat it. Well anyways I always thought of Pokemon logic like Yugioh logic. Building a deck = building a team Has to: -work together -be able to counter hard match ups Same thing applies to duels and pokemon battles. Always be ahead of your opponent. Point is I don't think this game will be make think it's bad. The more difficult a game is the more fun I have

I was thinking about the matter that when you want to use a hm you need to have a pokemon with it, which means you have to consider building your team around it. Allowing to use other moves for that matter would still make you build your team around it. Taking them out completely would eliminate that factor and allow you to build your team however you like which WOULD make the game easier.

The game is pokemon insurgence and zeta/omicron, but I think that this would make the game easier. (Which isn't really the goal, looking at some forum posts) In my opinion it's better to just allow other moves to be used.Less coding and adding new object definitions (which will take up more memory) won't be needed

Hmm if I would become a developer... I would change the hm usage code. Why? Because I think there are moves that can give the same result as hms. It isn't hard since the usage of hms is restricted not only by having a pokemon with the hm, but by a game switch as well (checks if you beaten the gym required). Wouldn't change the game difficulty, it would only allow you to use your full team, without wasting move slots on hms (which are useless in battle in my experience).

I am more of a PC programmer. Never had a chance to code things for consoles yet (I am still at college). If you would ask me what I think of the pokemon essentials code format (so rpgmaker), I think it resembles delphi/pascal, a bit. (Which isn't really hard to use)

Would you say it is worse than playing dark souls 2?

I am a programmer and a bit of a graphic artist (playing around in photoshop, so it ain't much). # Reason for joining: Basically came here, because I am playing through the decent fanmade pokemon games. I really like pokemon games, hate the anime though. # First impression: I played for a bit now and so far I really like this game. Idk why people said it would be difficult and that it hates everyone, it seems to be a quite relaxed pace game. # Side comment: The team in the signature is what I am going to make it ain't finished yet That's all I think. Don't seem like there is anything more to add.
