  1. Use a good rod in Ametrine or Celestine Mountain.
  2. Of the ones listed Ampharos, Weavile, Arcanine and Noivern would be good choices. I suggest after beating Ciel for you to get an Excadrill since it'll help you a LOT in the next gym.
  3. Considering how overall weak the gen 7 starters are they would probably be available at the point we've reached in episode 16. So there would be no reason to restart the game unless you want to redo the adventure with one of them from the start.
  4. If you do end up replacing Flygon with Goodra I'd recommend finding another Ground type for the team. The two best ones available right now (imo) are Excadrill and Mamoswine.
  5. Hmm that is interesting. But Ame said we met all of the characters as of episode 14, so 'savage' would have to be someone we know. My bet is on Elias, since his past is still pretty much mysterious and you could say that he is mad.
  6. Heather wasn't added later to the E4, she was always a part of it, though we only found out about it in Ametrine. It's true that out of the ones I've listed Anna is the only one that hasn't been confirmed in-game yet. However, it's pretty obvious she is an Elite, there have been multiple hints of that. When they introduced everyone, Charlotte made a huge deal of Laura being a E4, and Noel said "If you're going to say that, you may as well mention how Anna-" before Anna cut him off. Also it was stated multiple times that she holds a 'high position' within the League. If you look at the three initial E4s you can see a very clear theme: Laura (Sapphire Bracelet) Elias (Topaz... thing) Heather (Ruby Ring) All of them at some point owned one of the four gemstones, not to mention the gemstones have been passed in their families through the generations. Laura got the bracelet from her parents (I think her father was an E4), and Heather got the ring from her mother (who was also an E4). The only character to ever own the Amethyst Pendant (other than the MC) was Anna, meaning she is the only one that can fill the last position of the Elite Four. Not to mention she inherited it from one of her parents, suggesting that her family is also one that guards the gemstones.
  7. In the recent Pokemon games, battle facilities like the Battle Maison in XY/ORAS and Battle Tree in Su/Mo prevent the usage of legendaries. So I could see a similar system being implemented in the Disco since it will most likely be the battle facility of Reborn.
  8. Amaria can't be the champion, since she is the water type gym leader, and that is confirmed in-game when you visit her house (that also doubles as her gym). Also the champion was already revealed (HUGE E16 spoilers): As for the Elite Four they are also set in stone: Heather, Elias, Bennett (replaced Laura) and Anna.
  9. If you want to make a thread about team advice, it's better to do it in the Team Showcase Forum. Now for the team, honestly most of the pokemon in your team are pretty weak. Every single one of them is outclassed by other pokemon that are available at this point in the game. I'd recommend a total overhaul of the team, because as the game continues to progress it will continue to grow weaker and weaker. Fire types: Arcanine, Ninetales, Darmanitan, Chandelure and Volcarona are great choices. Psychic types: Alakazam, Gardevoir, Metagross, Reuniclus Ground types: Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Mamoswine, Flygon and Excadrill (post Ciel) Water types: Azumarill, Crawdaunt, Rotom-W, Milotic, and post Ciel there's Tentacruel and Starmie Ice types: Mamoswine and Weavile (post Ciel) Steel types: Magnezone, Forretress, Metagross, Lucario, Bisharp Bug types: Volcarona, Heracross, Forretress, Scolipede, Galvantula Fighting: Lucario, Heracross, Toxicroak, Scrafty, Mienshao I could go on but I think you get the point. You need to start using some of the stronger pokemon otherwise you'll start having a lot of trouble with future battles. I may be coming off aggressive here suggesting you to change every member, but you will only encounter more problems as you go on. It's better to overhaul the team now than later. I know that you want to use your favorites, and I do encourage you to try to find the mons that best suit your play style. But in a game as hard as Reborn, a team with only average to weak pokemon won't cut it. So I do encourage you to at least try using the stronger pokemon. As for Ciel specifically, you're having trouble with her because the only pokemon that is good against flying types in your team is Dewgong. And without it your team is pretty much helpless against her. Try adding a powerful Electric, Ice or Rock type. Some good mons are Magnezone, Mamoswine, Rotom-W (or Frost), Archeops, and Galvantula.
  10. The save file should sync automatically. If you are having any issues with it try posting in it here.
  11. I'd say to keep the Honchkrow because your team is very ground weak, having Mag, Blaziken, and (potentially) Chandy weak to it and no resistances to it. So having a Flying-type adds some much needed synergy. Personally, from my experience I don't think bulky mons add that much to a team, since most of the time you'll want to play hyper offense to not get destroyed by the leaders (since they hit VERY hard, you want to KO their pokemon before they even get to attack).
  12. It's really down to preference as Alakazam, Gardevoir and Reuniclus are all amazing pokemon. But I don't really see the need to add a Psychic mon since Azumarill, Honchkrow and Mamoswine already covers everything a Psychic type would kill (that being Poison and Fighting types). The only things that adding a Psychic would cover would be Levitate Poison types, and AFAIK the only ones are Weezing (which shouldn't cause you any trouble) and Gengar (which gets smacked by sucker punch Honchkrow). As for what to add, it really is up to you, but I'd recommend going for a strong special attacker since most of your mons are physical attackers. Chandelure, Volcarona, and Alakazam are all great choices, though I'd recommend Chandy since it has less resistances overall.
